My source location for my art ( http://www.deviantart.com/deviation/53066104 ). I based the design form the art in Japanese magazine page that I stummbled across on the net. I didn't have a foot reference so that's part is rather bad on this piece but This isn't a bad picture for only my first attempt with drawing Ikuto form savers

Err, its not THAT bad though. You need to red0 the feet. They shouldn't be pointing in the same direction like that...

Yeah, I agree with the feet part. Also, his face should be balanced out so that it's proportional to itself.

I'm really sorry to have to say this but, it's almost entirely screwed up. Your hand looked like it was shaking the entire time, his feet are disproportional to the rest of its body, the feet are also turned wrong. When drawing, you have to learn how to figure out if the human body could bend that way compfortably. The boomerang is much to small compared to the magazine art. Its head is very wrongly shaped and almost looks like it was melted, I suggest that you may want to start with a circle for the top of a head, making a chin isn't just adding a point to a circle, it is a semi-rounded triangle. Once you learn how to make the head, the rest will come. Sorry.. neutral

this is the first topic where people are actually acting like art critics... I have no talent with giving others advice, eep! Anyway I really like the reference used for the picture! Is it from a digimon series?
