Panic! On The Simpsons Movie Soundtrack? [RUMOR!]

According to absolutepunk.net, Panic! At The Disco will appear on the soundtrack for The Simpsons movie, which will be in stores July 10, 2007. The song they listed is "I Will Kill You," and supposly it's an orginial song. Fueled By Ramen could not confirm Panic! At the Disco's participation, nor were they even aware of a song titled, "I Will Kill You" by the band. This whole thing might just be a rumor, but we'll have to see. The CD was listed as followed:

Panic! At the Disco's management confirmed that the boys will not be appearing on The Simpsons Movie soundtrack. They don't know where the tracklisting came from, but it's incorrect.

I don't believe it.

That soundtrack seems all wrong to me. This is the Simpsons we're talking about. Y'know, guest starring people like Aerosmith, The Ramones, The Who, Elton John, U2... "classic" or "old" bands. It just doesn't seem to make sense the soundtrack would include the modern pop/punk/rock/&whatever else that's listed...

Besides, I'm pretty Green Day already recorded a single for the movie... It's pretty hard to believe that it wouldn't be on the soundtrack.

But I could be wrong.

I couldnt find where FOB confirmed that they weren't playing. Where'd you find this? But, yeah, I definitely agree. If FOB said that it's just a rumor that they're going to be on the playlist, then it's probably just a rumor for Panic! too.
