With Mar I like the manga better than the actual anime. But the whole idea of arms is pretty cool and I was thinking about how to put in an rpg ^_^

the anime has fillers that never appeared in the manga, it's much longer than I expected.

I liked MAR, but I wish that Anzai-sensei could have not just hinted at the link between it and Recca no Honoo (that Nanashi was Joker and that Galian was Raiha). I feel like the simplistic drawing style is also a notch down from Recca no Honoo... and that Ginta isn't close to being as cool as Hanabishi Recca.
.... I suppose if I hadn't watched Recca no Honoo, I would have loved MAR. sweatdrop But then I probably wouldn't have read it other than because of the fact that Anzai-sensei drew it...

I've read book 13 or something of MAR and the anime is pretty good but they stopped showing it on Toonami. People of Toonami are evil.

Mar is actually still being fansubbed by SS-eclips if i'm not wrong the show had 100+ episodes but only 69 have been funsubbed.
