Okay, so I saw Gee on the cover of a recent J-14 magazine and I picked it up, skimmed through it, and bought it so I could cut out pictures of the band.
I dont read J-14 [anymore], but I figured that I might as well read it while I had it. I went to the back where the quizzes are, and there was one and it was titled "What Kind Of Crusher Are You?" [meaning how do you act when you have a crush, shyly, outgoing, etc.]
The second question made me laugh so hard I fell off my chair.
And I quote: "Your crush hates all things emo. Do you stash your MCR tee, or at least for now?"
That question was funny, yet sick. Now theres gonna be even MORE little teenies running around thinking they're emo because they listen to MCR. Does anyone here think MCR is emo?

I got the exact same magazine. I just bought it so I could cut out the pics also. ;D Well instead, I think that I got last months issue. But, it sorta has the same stuff and the dorky quizzes that I take for fun. I was thinking of the exact same thing also. I hate teenies. And there's like a million at my school. :/ And they run around saying, "OMIGOSH. GERALDZ IS SU HAWWWT CUZ HEZ SO EEEMMMO AND HEZ JUS SO SECKZIESZ!!!111! LOLZ. AND DAT MAKZ ME EEMO THT NOWZ IMMA GO SHOP AT HOTTT TOPIKZ." It's weird how they put Gerard as one of the top 5 "hot guys". @___@ And in the magazine, they called Gee a "Goth frontman". Like WTFZORZ? D: And no. MCR isn't emo. I also just hate that some of my friends think that they are emo, which they aren't, and they think that listening to MCR and all those other bands I like make me emo. GAH. Why can't they just leave labeling to ******** soup cans? D:<
EDIT: AHAHAH. I was randomly taking the quizzes right now, and I found the MCR stash t-shirt question that you quoted. I got shocked, yet I laughed. LOL@PREPPYMAGAZINE.

It's kinda funny, actually.
They all put on a pair of fingerless gloves, say they're MCR addicts, and then call themselves emo.
And when you ask them how they liked Bullets compared to The Black Parade, they look at you like you're a freak and go "No dumbazz, therez onli 2 albumz LOL!".
It's happened to me in the past. I was curled up in a ball on the ground laughing my a** off for 20 minutes.

Ohmygodd. My sister is all like " GERARD IS SOOO SHMEXYY!!!!" and she only likes them now, because i got her into them because im pretty much obsessed with them ^^' but i just hate fakes, teenieboppers, and people who say they love mcr when they cant even name his favoite book or have even been to an mcr concert? and mcr is NOT emo. thought thats my opinion, and why doesnt even matter? they still kick a**! XDDDDDD

hmmm
well there is the fact that their first album was quite emo
they wear make up
but personally im not bothered what the teenies think, just hit them with a stick, that ought to shut em up

And also, most of the teenies that read these magazines dont even know about their first album. rolleyes
Yeah, duct tape works well too though<3.

XDDDDDD I've never been to one of thewir concerts, but I know Gerard's favorite book. The Catcher in the Rye. After I learned that, I got it from my school library and read it. (I read the whole thing in a few days!)
