My classic red black and white chucks' finaly gave out today and I just cracked open the box for my new all black ones, I used to use em for formal deals since I loath mens formal footware, and I have to say that these are by far the best goth/alt style shoes Ive owned aside from bigass boots...

Despite the aesthetic value of Chuck Taylors, I must say they are very uncomfortable shoes.
No arch support whatsoever.

Chucks are great if you don't need arch support. I even wear them with dresses.

Yes, I totally agree that Chucks are the best shoes ever.
But I'm also totally ignoring the fact that my feet alway want to murder me after I walk home from school in them.

I think their the most comfertable shoes ever! I've been solid black ones since about 7th grade. I'm never going to get a diff style of shoes! Well unless their boots or something....

I put arch supports in my chucks, because apparently the lack of support was giving me a headache. anyway, yeah I have a pair of mono-blacks. It made them all pretty with read blood-like splotches, but dabbing on some bleach with Q-tip

True, but it doesn't stop me. They make my ankles snap when I have PE. Well, the high tops do. Personally I think Rocketdogs are pretty comfy.

I love chucks. The only problem with them is that I am way too hard on them. Most of mine look like dog chew toys after a year.
