I think everyone in the world must know that My Chemical Romance has a song called Helena (*insert DUH here*). And... the Misfits have a song called Helena.
Two totally different songs but I can't believe that MCR didn't get their Helena to The Misfits' Helena. MCR's said that the Misfits are one of their influences; I mean you would think that would be the question everyone was asking them right?

*as many, if not all know...* Helena (MCR) was written for Mikey and Gerard's grandmother. it was not meant to be a cover of The Misfits. i havent looked into it, but maybe theyre grandmothers name was Helena?

The song, 'Helena' was dedicated to Elena, also nicknamed 'Helena', aka Mikey and Gerard's deceased grandmother. The song was dedicated to her.

And I really don't think this is a personal thing.. Because I am explaining about the song.

Its not personal because almost everyone knows it. The band is not afraid to tell about it.

But anyway, I never knew the Misfits had a song called "Helena". Does it sound like MCR's?

I know all that.I know that Helena is about Mikey and Gerard's grandmother and it has nothing to do with the Misfit's Helena. I'm just saying that I think it's weird that they never got comparisons to it because of the same title and because The Misfits are one of their influences.
@Alice_Disaster: It songs nothing like it. The opening line is " If I cut off your arms and cut off your legs Would you still love me anyway?" and it's...well you just kind of have to here it. They're both awesome songs though.
