Flyin Pig's Art Challenge:Extended

I love to just see art, so I want to hold an art challenge, not only will you get the chance to win 20k in pure but you'll improve in skill, because my challenges may be odd, or just unusual. You can take the challenge theme however you like. I'll do this about once a month or maybe every two months, dependin' on my resources.

EDIT: I am NOT goin' to pick places for three entries when there are only three places. I'm gonna wait for a few more entires before I judge.

1st Challenge:Fantasy: Water Skies, liquid clouds.

Rules: I'll look for more traditional things, or styles, any medium is accepted.
1.must fit the challenge or theme in some way, either symbolically, or literally.
2.Written entries will be accepted too. Maybe try a nice short story or a poem, a nice balled perhapes?
3.Has to be new, nothing from last week, last month or any time before today.
4.Do your best. I'm goin' on originality and quality(which means:effort, time and compostion)
5.Try somethin' away from your norm, this is a challenge so challenge yourself!

Concept(explanation)of image: Well, I thought it would be pretty neat if instead of bubbles in the water, there were clouds, and vice versa. There's not much more thought process behind it: short, sweet, and to the point, it is.

Hero Valios
Concept: Basically I was thinking of what it would be like to have the world split, an ocean like canopy above and the oceans below. With mankind caught in between, how would we find the stars? How would the water move? The answer: Water pillars. Giant sections of water being continually exchanged. Since the center of these pillars is rather calm, they can be used as transport for deep sea vessels to transfer into the sky, however, no surface ship can approach since the incredible force causes large and dangerous whirlpools.

Concept(explanation)of image: My mood dictates what I draw and I guess my problems with my friend influenced me to draw this. ^^; Anyhow... yes, I like him a whole bunches, but we're "just very good friends" who sometimes act more than just friends. I just felt... I dunno. The swan was supposed to be more puffy like clouds than liquid but it's like this digital painting was supposed to be about "cloud nine." Aha. Yeah... okay... back to my brooding.
