This here is going to be my dumping ground for WIP's and random sketches and such biggrin .

I'll try to listen and learn as best as I can even though I'm a bit thick-skulled.

Things I know I need to work on:
1. bare feet
2. some anatomy problems when attempting weird angles/poses
3. foreshortening
4. expressions
5. real inks (I have a phobia of inking)
6. backgrounds
7. I would really like someone to help me with painter >__<
8. illustrator too @__@;;

... more as I think of them.

Anyhow, feel free to be perfectly honest with me biggrin ... I won't be offended. Really. (ok I might chew your head off, but I'll thank you after).


For now feel free to give me some general pointers on my art deviantArt like if I'm missing a right arm on all my people or something XD;;

Hi Tirael ^_^
I have to say I -love- that nose. An odd thing to love perhaps, but I do. And I love the colours in the hair.
Something about the proportions on the head is throwing me off and I'm not quite positive on what it is, I'm thinking maybe the foreahead is too short? Not 100% on that, though.

Hrmm. I know it -was- too short before and I lengthened it hrmm. but if you know more specifically what it is, feel free to tell me Dx

The chin might be jutting out a wee bit too far, but I'm not sure, it all depends on what you wanted to achieve....*is totally buting in out of bordum*

!! Absolutely lovely. heart I love those stylized, paintery wings. It gives the picture a great atmosphere.

Nothing really looks off at first glance, but maybe his eye is a little too long? It would be great if we were seeing the person's face from head-on, but I think given that it's a profile, it should be shorter and more triangular.

I love how you do the hair. So smooth. The colors you use are lovely too. Red, black, & white are the best XDDDD

Sorry if this paintover is a bit sloppy but this is my interpretation of Iyou's suggestion (making the eye look more triangular). This is how I always draw eyes in a profile by the way, well more or less xd
