of course. i mean, homophobes, people against hentai subjects in general. usually they are pretty respectful of what you like, however, they can be a bit annoying when they speak against it. geez.

Ummmm my friend Hayley shes not all for it but shes not against it either so yeah but some of my friends on gaia do like someone said to me nice signature and then one of my other friends says um yeah can you take it off cause its kinda gross

I remember specifically this one time, coming home from the movie theater after seeing Brokeback Mountain with my mom, I said the makeout scene was hot and my dad got angry at me. He seemed to think there was something wrong with me for saying that.
So I don't bring it up with people. If they happen to find out and ask about it, I wont deny it -- but I know that sadly they're going to be more inclined to look at me oddly, rather than chime in with a "HEY! ME TOO!"
There are a lot of homophobes out there, and even more people who aren't nessessarily homophobes but can't seem to get past finding something too strange to bother understanding. It's a shame.

Yeah, i've known a lot of people against yaoi. Of course a lot of them are against any homosexuality at all. ^^ I luff yaoi though. I think it's awesome.

There is a lot of people who hate it or likes it. There has to be opposites like Yinyang. If we all like it, there would be a inbalance and life would be boring. There must be hate to counter love so we either move on or fight. That is just putting it bluntly.

I have a sorta-friend that is weirded out by BL... Then I have a really close friend that is quite fond of shounen-ai, but doesn't like yaoi just because of the hentai content.

I'm not those people who shows obssesions,but my friend is. I got her into shounen-ai,and she always has some kind of kissing going on with guys on her MSN display picture. Mostly guys say"ewww,why do you have dudes kissing on your display picture.
Alot of males I know are agianst it,and homophobes

Most of my friends either have no idea what yaoi is or think it's gross so I don't really talk to them about it.

I got my a** kicked plenty of times for being bi, until I requested (and received) a transfer. The people at my new school are a hell of a lot nicer.
