Welcoming Commitee?

I was wondering if anyone would be interested in being a part of a welcoming new members. I think a few members join, then never really get involved. I am interested in getting a few people together to get a conversation going with each new person via PM. It could be welcoming them, finding out about their weight loss, pointing them in a good direction in the guild (weight loss diaries/journals, resources, yay/grrr threads... etc). I think it would be nice to go a little farther than just having them post in the intro thread.

Any interest?

I'm not a fan of PMs, but I'd love to be a greeter within the guild itself. Plus, posting to the guild rather than PMing will stir more activity here. smile

I'd love to do it as well. I think it's really encouraging when someone goes out of their way to keep up with you. It's a nice feeling. heart
