Ooooh god, I finally got around to seeing Night at the Museum. It's so fun and insane and....and Jed/Octavius FTW. It's great on so many levels, and I just can't get over the idea of a cowboy being gay for a Roman general. heart And the Brokeback Mountain reference? WONDERFUL.

My mom and I were arguing before over what movie to see, and she wants to see 'We Are Marshall' which I'm sure is good, but I want to see Night at The Museum so much more.
Aaagh.

So, we went to see We Are Marshall, because my mom and sister own me or something.
And uhm, I got to see one man slap another man's a**, so I was pretty happy about that.

X3 *goes to look for fics* ninja Someone needs to illustrate this, seriously. I love awkward, slightly embarrassing hugs between guys. I want a sequel to this movie than involves Jed taking Octavius on a 'romantic' date in the Hall of Africa which turns into a disaster when Dexter kidnaps them and leaves them stranded at the top of one of the trees in the exhibit.

Oh man. That was the best scene! I went to see that movie w/ my mom and my friend Alicia. Only me and Alicia understood the joke though. I was giggling so hard! mrgreen Must...find....fanfic!

I burst out laughing and I was apparently the only one in the theater who got it ... my mom turned and stared at me. Saw the movie when it came out... Don't remember BBMntn scene. What was it? When Jed and Octavius (and their men) are trying to sabotage the three elderly security guards' escape plan and go to kill one of their tires, the other little men are blown away by the force of the air escaping but Jed manages to hold on, while still holding tightly to Octavius so he doesn't blow away too. Octavius tells him to save himself and Jed says "I aint quittin' you!" which was obviously an allusion to a scene in Brokeback when Jake says "I wish I could quit you!" Cowboy = Cowboy, you see. XD

My friend pointed out the Brokeback Mountain reference one night while we were watching that movie and I brust out laughing, even though I see the movie a lot of times. I still even chuckle a lil over that part now. xd
