so i went to the doctor today to get a normal checkup with my normal docor. no big deal. so i do all that and she looks at my shirt and she carefully reads out MY... CHEMICAL... ROMANCE. Whats that? "its a band" i reply . "they're the BEST."
Q. oh and what kind of music is it?
A. a very uniqe style i guess. its too genius to describe.
Q. what do they sing about?
A. everything. they have this song and it basicly says that when you die , death comes for you in a comfortable way.
Q(?). See, i dont like those songs that glorify death.
( note that she has probably never even heard the phrase ''chemical romance" in her life)
A. thats not what i said.
i then go on to say talk about "cancer".
(me=M. Her=H)
M. they also have a song about cancer and how sad of a concept it is
H. why do they have a song abut cancer?
M. it goes along with the concept of a comfortable death. and to not look at how bad at it is that they're dying but to look at the good memories that you have of them .
H. what of there was a kid that was only ten years old and they die of cancer?
M. i said that they have a good or at least meaningful life and how they had an impact on peoples lives. not how short there life was.
the moral of the story is that she obviously wants to put words in my mouth ,and take words out of my scentences and rearrange them to make MCR look bad. she also wants me to wants me to get rid of my black and blue hair and to wash off my black nail polish. she wants me to turn normal . Shes my freiken doctor! WTF?!

Dude.
She's your doctor.
Why does she have to go in and question everything you listen to.
It's not llike listening to MCR is gonna affect your health.
but if it was like, a councelor-therapist person, uh, I guess she's kinda supposed to ask you about music.
But to tell you what colors you hair should be?
Perfectly healthy people run around with blue hair.

If she's your health doctor it's no concern of hers what
music you listen to or what colour your hair is.

I wore my MCR hoody to the dentist. She started asking questions and said she would listen for them because they sounded interessting. It depends how open minded people are. The womans a quack not a fashion designer tell her to ******** off. Cheeky b***h! :XP
People only hear what they wish, very few are open minded. I suggest you do what I do and try and discover the root of their hatred. Though be gentle....i found out the reason a girl hated the misfit (I was wearing their tee) was she was a devote christian. Sadly i told her religion was complete (censored to not offend) and thus from there....to be honest i lost track of what i'm on about.
Just ignore her, she obviously lacks any oppinion other then that shoved down her throat by tabloids and political figure heads.

WTF is normal anyway? If I shopped at American Eagle or Hollister, curled/blowdried my blonde hair instead of dying it, pulled the saftey pins out of my clothes/back pack, started listening to Hillary Duff, began eating meat again, and ditched the eyeliner, people would still complain that I'm too different/goth/scary/emo. It's my life, and no-one is telling me that I'm wrong.

That reminds me of when I went to the doctors (I also had an MCR shirt on) and I had on my black jeans and lime green nail polish. She goes "At least your not those horrible goth people" and I said, "What if I am??" and she doesn't answer, she frowns. Quite horrible. Discriminate doctors. stressed

Okay, I totally agree with you.
So I got The Black Parade for Christmas, and I was really excited because I love their music(duh). Anyways, I was kind of looking a little more goth than i usually do. I was wearing a black shirt and skirt, but it had a candycane on it, thus making it a holiday shirt. I also happened to be wearing black nail polish sweatdrop . But my cuz, for some reason, thought I was going EMO, and it bugged the crap out of me.
Point being, I hate how everyone stereo-types MCR and makes them look bad.

i hate doctors i wrote my chemical romance all over my arm when i was waiting for the doctor to come in and when the doctor comes in she asks me why i did that i said i was a bored she started saying things i wasn't listening but i thought she was going to yell at me bc she didn't like the band or something O_O (they thought i was depressed)
