Plot Summary: In attempt to save his country, prince Valdrigue uses the cursed sword, which once belonged to his father. Now he is slowly turning into beast and the only person who can save him is mysterious and powerful wizard Hallwill. In exchange for help Valdrigue must accompany the wizard in his quest for magical devices. When Hallwill sees the beast side of Valdrigue, he finds it quite attractive. But the prince, who is unaware of his actions as a beast, knows nothing of Hallwill's doings. Meanwhile the curse case seems more complicated than they've anticipated.

It hasn't been published in America yet, but I know that doesn't stop alot of you - so has anybody here read Crimson Spell? I absolutely adore this one, I like it alot more then the Finder Series (shields herself) and I will buy it immediatly when it's published in America.

Not to fond of Kitty Media myself, but beggers can't be choosers. So anyway, talk!

Have no fear! I have read it and I must say that I'm a major Ayano Yamane fangirl. Her works are full of beautiful masuline men and the ukes are not wimpy or girly looking in which won me over. With Crimson Spell I was like... eek ZOMG! HOTNESS!!! I only got to read up to chapter 10 before it was announced for release and such by Kitty Media. Oh yeah....for a heads up another series of Yamane-sensei's by the name of Ikou Irokoi Romantan is to be an OVA sometime at the start of this year ^.~ On another side note as well....the series Okane Ga Nai (I know it's from a different mangaka) is also being released as an OVA in the beginning of this year.

I've read some of it. Damn licensing made it impossible to read the rest. It's very, very good. heart Hal's hair just makes me swoon.

Have read it and love it, Crimson Spell is my favorite manga just behind Ja-dou. What can I say I'm a sucker for the long haired bishies. ^_^

I ordered the English Crimson Spell the other day, should be here by tomorrow - I know they messed up enough things, but I am hoping it is still good enough for me to accept their errors

Rulin' ya universes...

I love CS! biggrin Ruruka is my favorite character, he's the cutest little bunny-yaoi-fanboy-thing I've ever seen. Beast Val, I must admit, is pretty darn hot though >=3
I wanna own the manga, but I don't really like the way they translated it... some stuff is a bit weird... Muh, I could always get it in Japanese instead... even though I can't read it (yet)
Also because me, being a stupid idiot, visited Kitty Media's website. I don't feel like giving my money to people who have THAT SORT OF THING IN CLEAR VIEW ON THEIR SITE. eek

Me too! I've looked all over melbourne ;_; I want IIR to be sold here too, but I've never seen any of Yamane Ayano-sensei's work.
