Because the 'great british music' thread seems a little exclusive. Here's the place to talk about British bands and artists that aren't quite classic yet but are/should be well on their way.

One of my favourite bands at the moment is Do Me Bad Things. They're amazing. They're quite hard to describe... I'll copy and paste from their website:
"Sometimes, very good things happen by accident. Do Me Bad Things, the astonishing blues/rock/soul/metal/everything/anything nine-piece from Croydon who have slapped countless unsuspecting, jaded audiences out of their torpor over the last twelve months, and left jaws hitting the floor everywhere they go, freely admit to having no ambition whatsoever."

You can listen to clips from their fantastic album 'Yes' (and watch a few full-leangth videos) here: http://domewebthings.com/audiovid.php

I recommend 'Time For Deliverance', 'What's Hideous', 'Spezzatura', 'The Song Rides', 'Off The Hook', 'Liv Ullman On Drums (Move In Stereo)', 'Molly's Wood', 'Suberban Flame', 'The Daily Grind' and 'Hold On'. And that's the whole album, minus the bonus tracks, and they're good too. xd

They look like this:

And if you think they're overdoing it with the makeup there, you should see the 'What's Hideous' video. 3nodding

Sometimes the cheap videos are rather nice.
The forest looks quite like Tentsmuir forest, though I didnt see any squirrels chucking stuff so it probably isnt. The video is also quite similar to Keane's Somewhere Only We Know video but its all good.

I wouldn't worry about the video quality, seeing as Coldplay, probably the biggest indie band in the world, had Chris Martin walking down a beach wearing a raincoat on a cold overcast day for their latest video.
But the song itself is a bit boring.

I get...*twitches*...very irritable when that's brought up...the wombles, that is... REMEMBER, OWEN!?!? scream

They mock my liking Idlewild. To such a great extent. *sniffs*
