I have.
The first song I heard from them was Drowning Lessons and I loved that song to bits.
What shits me is all the people coming into the fanbase because the only song they have heard from them is Welcome to the Black parade.
My friend bloody hates MCR but when she heard that song shes all like 'oh yeah. I like MCR, they saved me.'
WTH?
She doesnt have emotional problems either.
She's just copying me.
ok out of rant mode now.
I just dont really like the idea of MCR getting a bigger fanbase through The Black Parade.
The 'new fans' need to listen to the first few albums first before they go out saying they love MCR.
Please dont flame or anything like that.
I'm in bad mood mode because I really hate people who are super obsessed with one song and wont listen to their ORIGINALS!

I've been with them from the start. The first song I heard by them was Vampires Will Never Hurt You. I love what they've grown up to be. I'm amazed at their accomplishments. They've really done something. But people do need to listen to it all before they judge whether or not they love them.

I wish I was a fan since the begnging. They have a bunch of awesome songs on there first one. Sadly, like a bunch of people I first heard about My Chem. with Helena...
After that I wanted to hear all there songs!

I've like'd them since late 04/early 05, before they got big in NZ. I heard about them over the net and downloaded 'Thank You For The Venom'. I fell in love with the music straight up and decided to download 'Bullets' coz it was their first album and I got 'Revenge' the first time I saw in it a music store.
Not the begining but yeah.

me too.it's kind of weird though..the first song i heard was helena but i bought i brought you my bullets you brought me your love.i didn't get three cheers for sweet revenge until a year or something later.(but i got TBP the first day it came out so yay! for me...now i'm just rambling...)

Not since the very beginning, but since early 2004 when I heard I'm Not Okay over MTV2. . . but I listened to a load of their other stuff before I called myself a fan.

My friend was hell obsessed with them and I love their songs so I went and boutght their first album...I've only just bought the rest, and I think that the "new" fans only like them when they do this style of music because the new album is nothing like they've done before!

yea i have been with them for a while, since i heard drowning lessons. Then i got into Three Cheers for Revenge, and now im hooked on The Black Parade.

Well.
Living in the country(aka cows, etc) as their first album dropped, there was basically no w*y for me to get into them through that.
I got into them from Three Cheers, August 2004.
When I saw an ad for them, and looked 'em up.
But if it counts for anything, when I got into them, it was close to impossible to even get Three Cheers.
ButIgot it.

And then once Helena was dropped, I had to go to an indie music store to just get Bullets.
xd
No where else sold it.

I got into them in late '04 because of a friend who showed me the video for "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)" when it came on TV. I ended up getting Bullets, Three Cheers, Life on the Murder Scene, and now The Black Parade.

I...have kindasortaNOTREALLY 'been with MCR since the beginning'.
I mean, I heard 'em on the local radio station back in the day, and I thought they were weet, but I didn't start really liking them until my friend made me a copy of Three Cheers around last year >_<

I have no problem with new fans.
I don't like when people pretend to be fans, but screw 'em.
If they buy CDs, it just means more secess for My Chem and less money for the 'fake' fans.
I heard of them back before Three Cheers.
(Back then I didn't know I liked rock, so I didn't look any fruther into them)
I got into them after seeing the Helena video
