To be honest I think we need a rules thread.

I know people have been okay so far but it's just that there has been loads of necroing. It's not that big a deal but I just think necroing an be really annoying.

It's when you post in a dead thread. Gaia has a limit to how long it is before a thread is dead but some guilds have different limits. Mine has a 7 day limit and some others have 3 and 5.

I don't see the problem with that. If it keeps the guild alive, why not? Would you rather have no one posting or spamming with new threads with the exact same topic as a dead one?

Cloud, this guild won't get very active until we get some more atheists/agnostics.
That reminds me to check join requests.
EDIT: Wow, three new atheists have joined us now. I'm glad to see they all wrote fairly good applications.

What's wrong with necroing? That's a really stupid reason to get mad about; or to warn someone about. I wouldn't stay/be in a guild that was like that. Glad this one isn't ^.^

The problem is that it knocks the active threads off of the front page and replaces them with dead ones. It just makes it so that it's harder to find the topics that people have been posting in and then they might give up looking and then the guild will get less posts.

A) it makes those threads live again
B) believe it or not, most people have the intelligence to go "oh it's not on the first page, I guess it's probably on the second page, or another one."
C) Especially in this guild, but we only have two pages, so it doesn't matter.
