Well I just got this manga called "Man's Best Friend" / "-Inu Mo Arukeba-" by Kazusa Takashima. It's about a dog that fell in love with a human (Ukyo) and would watch him leave school everyday. One day some brats try to beat the dog and Ukyo comes to the rescue. He takes the dog home and gives him a bath and finds out the dog can talk. He names the dog Kuro. The dog gets so excited he turns into a human. (this only happens because he prayed to the moon that he could be with Ukyo but after a while he turns back into a dog) Well they get it on and they fall in love.

My question is: Would this be considered Beastiality?

Well, it depends I guess. Does he turn back into a dog permanently in the end and they still go at it? Because that'd be beastiality.
Otherwise it'd be sort of like Fruits Basket, except it's the opposite in Fruits Basket.

I dunno would he have a mindset of a dog? well technically it would not be beastiality cause the deifniton is having sex w/ an animal and at the tie he was not a dog, so technically no. But having sex w/ a person who thinks like a dog is kinda questionable

Would it be? I donno. I guess it is in the strictest sense of the definition. He is technically still an animal. He still acts and thinks more like a dog than a human. I bought the manga a while ago,I think it was last summer,I thought it was really funny! One of the cutest short story I've read so far.
And the art was pretty good too! I loved the story of the guy with the gold fish in the end~♫

I loved this one. And I read a manga that also reminded me of it because it was about a dog that turned into a human... I don't remember the name at the moment... but they're both amazing!
I love the mini stories in Man's Best Friend. xD

I read that manga I wouldn't call it beastialiy since the dog is in human form most of the time. I think the goldfish one was cute. XD

I didn't think it was bestiality, but it was odd. Don't get me wrong, I loved it! It was adorable, but it was one of the first "harder" ones I read....in my T.A. class about a year ago. Very odd to explain yaoi to my chemistry teacher. sweatdrop
