Hi everyone. How are you? How is your weight loss coming along?
As you may or may not now. I'm a 13 year old trying to lose the 30 pounds of fat hanging over my pants. And to do this, I've decided to excersice more, and eat less. Good idea, right?
With my body, and my metabolism, it's very hard for me to gain weight. And it's very hard for me to lose weight. I think my body just wants me to stay the weight that I am.
Let's go back to what I said about eating less. Well, that's what I'm doing. Eating less. A lot less. Well, today, I decided to add up all the calories, fat, sodium, vitamins, and all that junk that I ate. According to my RDA(Reccomended Dietary Allowance, for those who don't know), I am eating a LOT less than I should.
My RDA says I should eat 800 (grams or whatever) of Vitamin A. I ate 421. My RDA says that I should eat 15 grams of Iron. I had 3. And so on, and so forth.
I've tried to lose weight before, but it always seem that I overdo it. I always either eat too little, or excersice to much to the point of exhaustion. I've tried to stop, but I can't. I feel heavy after eating a meal, and feel guilty, and that I have to work it all off. That guilty feeling stays in my mind all day, and I'm afraid to pick up too much food, or do too little excersice. No matter what I do, that feeling won't go away.
I don't know what to do anymore. My friends are calling me anorexic, because I hardly eat anything for lunch. My parents are worried, because I'm always tired.
I am losing weight this way, but it seems to be tearing me apart.
And here I am, hoping for maybe a way to cope with this? sweatdrop

Take a multivitamin, and eat a big lunch. Since it's the middle of the day, you'll burn those calories the fastest, plus it will keep your friends off your back.
Very few people get the right amount of vitamins, just keep an eye on your calories and make sure they stay in the 1200 per day range. Under 1000 can be quite bad for you. n_n

And, in order to avoid the 'heavy feeling', and boost your metabolism, snack throughout the day.
Like, I normally bring a sandwich and fruit for lunch. So I cut the sandwich into quarters. I eat a quarter going between classes, (2nd-3rd), (3rd-4th), (lunch with the fruit), (4th-5th), because that way, my body is constantly breaking down the food, which sort of 'trains it' to ALWAYS be burning energy, since it knows it always has some.
And, I don't get the whole guilt feleing when I do that, which I used to get when I would eat a whole meal in one sitting. Personally, I don't like eating 4-6 hours worth of food in fifteen minutes. D: So I break it up. <3
