Modeling Music

I've noticed taht i tend to listen to the same music every time i'm painting or modelling. I listen to Linkin Park, what to you listen to, if any.

Anything really, it just keeps the boring repetativeness of painting off. If I don't have music on, I tend to get bored very easily.

Hmm.
I've never really thought about it to be honest. I listen to Metallica, Coheed and other stuff dotted about, so I can assume that.
Sometimes, I probably prefer silence.

I watch war movies with good music, Gladiator, for example.

Other than that, I listen to any music which has an active mood to it.

I'll listen mostly to Country music, but I'll listen to some rock and roll.

Anything really, it soothes the mind. Though movies playing in the background are also great audio distractions.

I have however found a third alternative, calling with someone. heart I just need a proper handsfree kit, as a rubber band is not the best solution.

Rammstein, Apocalyptica, Dog Fashion Disco, Mushroomhead, Sleepytime Gorilla Museum, Powerman 5000. Those are some of the more common 40k ish things.

Well, I've always just had silence whilst I've painted my models, but I think some good Warhammer 40K music is KMFDM, Rammstein, and White Zombie. They just all seem to fit the atmosphere pretty well.

Music was a great thing to listen to, but when I moved in with my best friend we would just paint together and talk about this and that. Some subjects were not the best for when painting, but it worked good.

Just don't listen to it when rolling dice. Maybe it's just me, but if I'm paying attention to music when I get to rolling it's all ones and twos.

I like putting on a movie with a good soundtrak like Qween of the Damned, or the transformers movie something with some sweet rock'n'roll

I do listen to rock and all that. But, I found it agitates me when painting. I found I can relax, paint and focus if I listen to stuff like Norah Jones or KT Tunstall sweatdrop . Just an observation.

I've got a playlist of 423 songs, with genres ranging from Jazz, to heavy metal, to classical.
