I guess that would be something to consider if your getting a job in a cloths store or the fashion/acting industry. There like the only place it matters.D:

I don't see the connection between career and bodyweight. It doesn't even really matter in modeling (you just have to be a plus sized model) or appearence based buisnesses as much as some other physical qualities. If you want to be a chef, it should matter even less, since a plump image creates a psychological connection between your type of beauty and the delicious food you serve up. The next time your father tries to tell you that all careers are based solely on body weight, ask him how vice president d**k Chaney or film star Queen Latifa (who is fairly hot even though she's a full figured woman) got their jobs, both vastly different but high paying.
My father's an idiot to. I found it easier to just not talk to him. Of course, my dad weights like 400 lbs.

There's been evidence through studies that do show that thin and attractive women get paid more, but there's no proof that they get better jobs persay.
The same goes for white men.
The only demographic not affected is black males, their personal appearence doesn't seem to affect who much they earn.
I could try to find the article...

I hate how people say things like that, like it's going to motivate you. It's only going to make you depressed, and you know, eat more.

My parents say i am fat... then buy my favorite kind of ice cream. But I'm fat (i deal with it) and I have a great job, one i love and have possiblities as well as I am a business major in college and network with alot fo "plus size" people.
