Listen to some BoA songs. Boku isn't only used by boys. Listen to Some Bi/Rain. Watashi isn't only used by girls.

That's true, guys don't necessarily have to use Boku all the time, they can use "Watashi" although I don't know why they would do that because personally I think "Boku" sounds way cooler...don't ask me why XD
I learn Japanese...but I'm still an amateur ^^;;
