I want a string ray or dragon moray.
But I want/need a 100-200 gallon wall tank for it.
Unfortunatly for me though I don't have the room
And I doubt the floor could hold the weight over time gonk

It's a kinda small shark, but should be bigger. Pretty sure it's just because of the tank size. I really don't know the type. It's name is Sharky, like off the kids tv show from the early 90s, sharky and george. I also have a goldfish named george. xp

Depends on which country. In some countries, you need to be a member of a specific fish group in order to own one. In others, you need a license...in some...it is perfectly okay.

In some places.
But not where I live, or in my state.
The reason they are illegal are because of stupid people tossing them into rivers and lakes where they don't belong.

And they are hella cool ^^
They are actually very timid fish.
I chase them around the tank with my hand sometimes when I'm using the gravel vac lol

Yes....very timid. Scared of their own shadows, the little wussies. Anyways, thats why I like cichlids, always curious and out going. 3nodding

yes, Chichlids rule, I had an oscar like 6 months back, but it was outgrowing my 55 gallon tank....even though they say that is enough I really did not think he had the room.....

but yes they are very outgoing and cool......untill you have to get one out of a tank, try wrestling up a half grown oscar.....man there was water all over the place sweatdrop

That makes sense as to why they are illegal. I remember last year, two guys got arrested for selling snakefish to someone. I cant believe how timid they are. They are some of the deadliest fish next to sharks

It actually depends on the species, red-bellied pirahnas are wimps, black are more aggressive, and the most aggressive species is....the kariba (sp.?). But none of them are really "killers". That's something that Hollywood over-exagerated.

I used to have around twenty fish......but one of my fish ate them. stressed So now I'm down to one fish...one lonely little fish.

I've seen a few blacks around, but they aren't really all that black. I would really like to see the all black one, they look nice. 3nodding
