I was wondering if anybody knows of a serious organisation or society or whatever that fights for the right of homosexuals and want to raise awareness and everything.. I've tried to look for one for awhile but couldn't find it.

I hope some people here can indicate me to a site or something. ^_^

I'm Dutch, by the way, and also French. English/American, Dutch and French organisations are all fine by me. I am especially interested in American and Dutch ones, though.

Sure, I do. On Myspace they have something called Isuport and and Ido, which I am currently involved in. I'll send you the links. ANd every once in a while they have petitions to sign and such, which I have also joined and we are making progress with getting our gay marraige rights back. ^_^

The GSA and PFLAG Also they're are way more if you try and look for them. The GSA is the Gay Straight Alliance you can find them in most high schools. Or even around the community. Also PFLAG is a meeting for Parents of Gay children or want to help their children, and such by supporting them and going to meetings and such. It's like breaking them in to get used to gay lifestyle. The GSA promotes tolerance and awareness of tolerance to the schools thus the Gay Straight Alliance 3nodding

The way I do it is to tell as many people as I can about it and raise my voice! Someone important is bound to hear...Or as long as you can influence someone whee Good Luck! heart

Thanks for your replies! Sorry I didn't respond sooner....

I try telling as many people as I can, I discuss it and engage in heated discussions too about it, but I want to do more..

Riyu Umi Renku - I don't live in USA and I'm not in high school anymore.. I've heard of PFLAG, I've checked it out, but I really have nothing to offer them, as I'm not even homosexual nor a parent of a homosexual child.. I want to fight for the rights of homosexuals, I'm just unsure where I should start...
