[Dragonball] - Slashtastic?

Dragonball slash? Which is your favourite pairing? Which bad guy most wanted to get into Goku's pants? Lol.

I always thought that future Trunks was an extremely slashable character (that wasn't the reason I started watching it or anything... sweatdrop ), although with who was always a problem!

In fic my pairings of choice were usually Goten/Trunks, Goku/Vegeta or Piccolo/Gohan. Yeah, I'm weird. ^ ^ It also has the dubious honour of being the subject of the first fanfic I ever read ( - Dragonball Z Rewrite. All hail it's greatness!)

I've never really been into DB-slash but I have always thought that Trunk and Goten were into each other. They have always been my favorite slash pairing for that series. Though I do sorta like Trunks/17 as well. However, I think it's more because they'd look hot together than for any relationship reason.

I can see Vegeta/Goku. I can even enjoy a good fanfic about the pairing. But I'm not particularly fond of the pairing.

DBZ was my first major fandom. I started a huge mailing list, Saiyanslash, and wrote so many lousy fics xd Basically, if they were male, I slashed them. I even had a series of crack slash fics. It was just wrong. Of course, my favorite pairings are Trunks/Goten and Vegeta/Goku. I don't see Goku as much of a seme, he's a little too...naive.

I still have a few dbz doujin and a zillion lousy fics on my site, but I really have nothing to do with the fandom anymore. It's just been ruined for me. But I'll tell ya, while I was in the thick of things, I did have a blast and I made quite a few good friends ^_^

When I was younger and actually into the series I liked the Trunks/Goten pairing... Goku bugged me too much to want to pair him up with Vegeta razz

...I hate GokuxVegeta >.< I think all the fanfiction put me off (which is ironic considering how many pairings I like came from fanfiction O_o)

I think its mainly because all the fiction I saw completely disreguarded Bulma and Chichi, or made them look like very bad people (Like the way everyone always makes Relena out to be some kind of monster >.> it just... drives me up the wall >.<)

TrunksxGoten is very cute though. I've always liked TrunksxGoten ^_^

I'm not really sure about the other characters though... Krillin never seemed slashable to me... GohanxPiccolo scares me and the rest of them are kinda... well they dont show up very much >.> (as a random note; I've always had a soft spot for the three-eyed guy and his little china doll friend <3)

I especially don't understand Piccolo porn. Namekians are all asexual. They don't have the same sex organs as we do and they are more than likely on the inside. Hence he shouldn't have a p***s attack Gohan with. >.>

It has to be VegetaXGoku! xp

And I'm not putting down ChiChi or Bulma, but it's just that Goku is soooo Uke!! And if Vegeta doesn't get him, I'm totally sure someone else will! All that innocent big eyed "you can't hate me cause I'm so sweet and I saved the earth a butt load of times" just has to turn someone's crank! And in my eyes Vegeta will never be an uke. He's too butch for that.

On the topic of bulma and chichi, chichi does have a tendency to yell too much and be kinda bitchy, and bulma can be annoying and pushy, but you have to remember one thing. Isn't everybody that way at some time or another? Ya gotta admit, they're only human.

And on the subject of Namek's being asexual, I will now quote a line from Piccolo that I had read in a fanfiction that will all make sense.

"I may not have a d**k, but I still have a mouth and hands."

I'm not saying he can't have sexual/romantic relations with any of the characters. I'm saying that he shouldn't have a p***s, which I've seen many a porn give him. Hands and mouth make a lot more sense and I’m glad some writers have the sense to write a story that make sense!

As for Vegeta/Goku. I can't see them in a romantic relationship. I only can see them in a carnal relationship. They're both too busy trying to build muscle to be much for romance. I say this more for Goku than Vegeta ('cause Vegeta actually sticks around to sorta raise his kid and spend time with his wife). Goku's a horrible husband and father. He's never around! Sometimes, yeah, that's not his fault but there are a lot of times when he's just rather go off and train then spend time with his family. The best example for this has to be at the end of Z where he goes off to train somewhere after that final tournament. And it's not like he leaves for a couple weeks, comes home, spends sometime with the family and then goes back. No, he disappears for years. I’m surprised that family’s stuck together as long as it has.

You know it's a sad world when Vegeta's a better dad than you.

Anyway, back to the slash…. All those flaws combined with the fact that Vegeta most of the time looks like he can barely tolerate Goku, make for a very pathetic romantic relationship. Lots of sex, no romance. That’s the way to go with them. XD

Yeah, I know, I used to just HATE Chichi when I was a big DBZ fan to be honest >.> especially when she made poor Gohan study with that teacher that just beat him all the time... And Bulma could be just plain stupid sometimes... But they weren't horrible people either, and most of the VegetaxGoku fanfiction I've read portrays them that way >.<

And all slashy stuff aside, I just cant see Vegeta in a relationship with any ofthe men in the series (probably because he never really interacts positivly with anyone XD)

Goku maybe... I mean for someone who practically NEVER spends time with his wife you have to wonder... O_o (but then you could say that about almost anyone on DBZ. They all spend so muchtime fighting and training and shouting insults at each other there's never any time for normal interaction >.>)

I'm sometimes shocked that Goten, Trunks and Gohan grew up to be more or less normal people. XD
