Lets hear your stuff!

I've not been around in a while, I'm afraid to say, but I do remember a fair number of people mentioning that they played at least one instrument.

Share your recordings here. I want to listen. smile

To get the ball rolling, here are one or two of mine.

*points to sig*

I may at some point also record me on the cello with a friend of mine on the piano playing Rachmaninov, which I suppose could be uploaded somewhere as well.

I should have a recording of my band at the talent show in a few weeks, but they only let us do one song and we're finding it difficult to make decent recordings ourselves.

Unfortunately I am currently sans bass guitar, something I am hoping to rectify soon. Then its just a case of finding a band, practising and recording.
Maybe sometime next year.

I should probably have a recording of me playing Rachmaninov Prelude inC# Minor for a concert in about three weeks! I do have a recording of me playing first clarinet in a clarinet quartet of American Patrol (not my choice), but it's not very good...*hangs head in shame*

Just fork out a bit and find a studio to record it. There's no way you can record well by yourselves, and without a lot of high tech hardware and software.

Ooh, I don't know the preludes at all. I must get hold of a recording of them...

I have Prelude in C# Minor and G minor professinally done, but those are the only two professional recordings I have. I've listened to others, and of cause played them on piano (t the moment I'm working on Prelude in A minor as well as G minor and C# minor.. Yeah, I only play ones in minor keys). I should probably get a CD of all of them, too...

There was a studio round here looking to record some local bands for free so that they could get established, but it just didn't sound right unless we played together.

I have a gig tomorrow that we were invited to today at lunch in a club that was dissolved for lack of interest in a building that I thought was a power transformer.

Never ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever (as if it needed saying) ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever ever play rock music to a room full of chavs. And if you you find out that the club you are supposed to play at calls itself a 'youthy'; run! Run for your life, for if you do not, then you will be forced to.

xD

I had the exact same realisation about "youthies" in the lower-school. Haha, deary me. I have to admit though that I've never yet set foot in one.

Considering that all the bands playing were rock bands, I didn't think this would be one. How wrong I was.

Ouch! That doesn't sound like much fun! There's a youh club in my village which is pretty much 'Chav United'. We see them walking back (*gasp* Yes, they actually walk!) with their 'heavies'. My sister and I call them
them the 'Village massive'. I think that's how you spell it... Hmmm... Yeah, it's highly amusing, though I've never heard youth clubs being called 'Youthies' before...

Ooh, two weeks till my big performance *gets relly nervous*
