Is it alright for a goth to go to a church?

This question has always lingered in my mind, and I just want to hear some of your opinions on this topic.

Oh, sure it is. Of course it is. It's not like every single goth kid is atheist, Wiccan, or a devil-worshipper... sure, there may be some who are, but the important thing to remember is that not all goths are like that... blaugh Okay, happy answer. Ashy's out.

The "Goth" people are usually the outcasts, if you hadn't notcied, which I'm sure you did.

So it's no surprise to me.

But it's perfectly fine.

If they truly believe, then more power to them.

It is perfectly fine to go to church if you are a goth. Heck, I go every Saturday. Don't let stereotypes stop you from doing something you wish to pursue. If you can ignore the traits set up by ignorant people, more power to you. It shows that you really don't care what others think and you are being you.

i go to church to scare people. some yell 'let the lord back into your heart' and im like 'ummm... no' its pretty funny. i go and look and scary with all black dark purple lipstick, black and purple eyeshadow, heavy eyeliner, the works. its just too funny to not do. mrgreen rofl

'course it is. I go to church ever sunday, and I'm a preist to boot. Just because I listen to some goth music doesn't mean I've given up my religeon.

Gothicism is up to the individual believer. I'm a Baha'i, so I don't go to church anyway... I do go to Ruhi, though... So yes, it's fine to go to church.
