What's you opinion of him? Is he the "pride of British comedy", or a slightly upptiy t**t? I personally think he can be extremely funny, but can be slightly annoying too. Like quite a lot of people, really. My favouite thing he said is that whenever he was bulied or attacked at school, he'd shout "Ow! Stop it! You're giving me an erection!" Apparently it worked every time. I'm not surprised...

I've a massive amount of respect for Stephen Fry. I wish I were more like him, though...not in his sexual tendencies.
Sometimes I'm jealous and sometimes my admiration borders on deification, alas. I guess I'm a fan.

Bloody fantastic. I mean, he is, isn't he? I've read all his books; they're terribly clever. I think abnormal intelligence paired with quick wit has got to be the best thing ever.

Vanilla Pod I think abnormal intelligence paired with quick wit has got to be the best thing ever. heart Oh how I strive for both, and attain neither.
It is, as I am sure you will understand, terribly unjust.

Vanilla Pod Did anybody catch him on Who Wants To Be a Millionaire? Yes, the man is a legend. Shame that they wasted lifelines though.
Did anyone else want to kick the television through the window when the first lot didn't know which Shakespeare play was set at the seige of Troy?
I know I did. how the hell could King Lear have been set in a Greek war?
THE ANCIENT GREEKS DIDN'T HAVE KINGS!

Quote: Did anyone else want to kick the television through the window when the first lot didn't know which Shakespeare play was set at the seige of Troy? Almost crying in horror, my dear boy, almost crying. Even if you aren't familiar with Troilus and Cressida - which, to be fair, most people aren't - by a process of elimination of the other three plays, which are really quite well known, or at least the plots are, it should have been obvious. King Lear? Bloody hell.
