The kingdom of Kalimdor is ruled by elemental dragons with the ability to take on human form. Normally a peaceful world Kalimdor is currently undergoing a political crisis concerning the right to own slaves. There are strong contenders for boths sides and it is unclear who the victor will be.
((Yes, it's a short plot, but it leaves a lot of room for possibilities, ne?))

Illarius sighed as he gathered the files up from the meeting. It had been a long one with much arguing. In the end everyone had agreed to disagree until next time.
The ocean dragon was grateful for this as he hadn't been getting much sleep lately. Caught up in his thoughts some of the had papers started to slip from his arms. He cursed and tried to catch them before they fell.

Cassius threw open a set of large white doors designed with silver, and ran in with a smile spread across his lips.
"Lari, guess what!"
The male was almost bouncing with joy... It was kind of disturbing in a way.

And they fell. All over the floor. Illarius swore and bent to pick the scattered papers up.
"What is it this time cassius?" he asked testily, standing back up with the disorganized files. Now he'd have to stay up late going through them.

Illarius's face lit up slightly and the angry frown melted away.
"Really? That's great! I was so worried about him!" He had almost dropped his papers again.

Cassius let his friend go making sure to catch any papers that might have fallen.
"I was so happy when I found out, and believe it or not Azzuri actually cracked a smile!"
Gray eyes seemed to be dancing behind strands of navy bangs as he began to walk back towards the doors.
"Would you like to stop by my place for a bite to eat before work consumes you for the night?"
