I haven't seen many paintings on here, but I'm new so I probably just missed them as I skimed through the forum. Anyway, it's not the best painting ever, but I'm a bit new to painting too so forgive me. sweatdrop Acrylics on Canvas Board

This is no mere painting, this is what we call "art." The painting is truly stunning, and I love all of your color choices. Just looking at the artwork makes me feel overwhelmed with emotion, so I say that you should be quite proud. 3nodding

I'm glad you could get some emotion from it; most of my drawings/paintings are more emotion than anything else. Wow, that is amazing.
I agree, it makes me feel emotion a lot. Mainly the type I get when I sit on the balcony and stare up at the stars all night....

I am still in disbelief you are new? The colors blend perfectly.

My friend loves stars, so what better than a picture of being with them? 3nodding This was my second painting ever. My first was in oils, so you can only imagine my surprise/painic when I first discovered how fast acrylic dries. sweatdrop But thanks, I'll try to keep up the good work! 4laugh I might post my first painting here, though it is a tad gory.. sweatdrop

The background is nice.
I'm not a big fan of the main subject matter. It's too plain and seems very out of place.
Other than that, it's not bad.

i should post one of my paintings...from my painting class...haha...as soon as i get it graded and i can bring it home. this looks wonderful...you should post more of your work
