... Were you BORN a follower of boy love, or did you happen to stumble across something (i.e. Ooo, what's yaoi mean? -click- .... Oh my fricken god!!!), or get talked into it (i.e. Every one I KNOW is obsessed, so, yeah... Why not?)? Some of the stories I've heard are amusing. <3
Me, I stumbled across a yaoi Gundam Wing doujinshi, since they are EVERYWHERE, and have been fascinated with it ever since.
It was so cool =o

DemonAlchemist Ooo, what's yaoi mean? -click- .... Oh my fricken god!!! That's a pretty good representation of what happened to me. I was reading some Shaman King fanfics... I got curious, clicked a link and was... well, extremely surprised is one way to put it. At first I thought "What the hell is this? Why would Horo and Ren do that?!" But, my general policy when coming across something new (try to find out more about it before deciding whether or not it's a good thing) meant that I read more and... I was hooked! sweatdrop

Me, I stumbled across a yaoi Gundam Wing doujinshi, since they are EVERYWHERE, and have been fascinated with it ever since.
It was so cool =oBasicly that's sounds about right to me. I was brought into the gundam Wing world when someone made me read a fanfic(in which quatre died and i cried my eyes out), so I decided, what do these boys, and this anime really mean. So I went hunting and *POOF* I was like.. oooo cute boys......ooooo cute boys with cute boys equal FUN TIME for girls to watch! Gundam Wing is still my fav anime though and i have like the bigillion anime pictures and manga hidden somewhere. I used to have one for the end where heero leaves the teddybear for relena, but it's got like a dagger with a death note stabbed into it. And another where Duo and Heero are playing and Relena walks in and is like @.@ No way!? But followed shortly after Gundam Wing is.....:drum rolls: FAKE! :drools: That is just straight forward with it and one guy chasing after the other, and both are cute as hell and it's like HA i love this :stare stare drool, stare......Play movie again:

Anyway, my first strumble was a multipaired story in the DBZ-fandom. back then I was still foolish and a hetero-lover, and I read the story because some nice hetero-pairing... and then suddenly Goten and Trunks were together in the bedroom doing not-so-innocent things.. xd and first I didn't understand it, but then I continued reading stuff like this... and when I became a YGO-fan, 90 per cent of all stories were yaoi-ish. 3nodding

A friend of mine told me I might like yaoi and she posted a link to a picture. Now we where already talking about GuyxGuy stuff so I figured that yaoi would involve something like that. Still when I clicked the link I was caught off gaurd (I believe I yelled out "Holy hell!").

Gaia is actually where I got into Yaoi xD! I kept seeing boards all over the place about Yaoi and SHounen-ai, and I had no idea what those were, so I asked. And It was like, an instant Fascination...Actually, one of the mods in this guild, Poochi-Ray, was like, the first person I talked to about SHounen-ai and yaoi xD;

I don't know how it started with me! *giggles* I think I was just born to like it. Maybe it started because I have a gay half-brother. Maybe? I don't know...^^x I just know I've liked it for-like-EVER!

Yeah, my first reaction was, "Dear god...what the hell is this?!" And afterwards, "Omigod why didn't I discover this sooner?!" Yeah... I was a little creeped out at first, but I learned to love it...and am now obsessed with it >>

My first reaction to yaoi was before I realized I liked guys along with girls. I saw it and I was weirded out by the fact that I didn't mind it. Now I'm obsessed. But I was like, "I never would of imagined Miroku was hott for Inuyasha... Hahahaha."

I was creeped out at first, given the fact that I was an innocent 12-year-old. I would go on a ";--; But-but, they wouldn't doo thaaaaaaaat!" spree, until I was hit by maturity a few months later. xd
I was taught some sense, and grew fond of it. Now, I just obsess over love it. heart

My first reaction...well, the first time I heard the word 'yaoi', I was a little confused. A few of my friends were giggling over something and I heard the word 'yaoi'. Me being me, I asked what it was.
That only set off another round of giggling. After pestering them---and ignoring their claims that 'You don't wanna know...'----they finally told me.
My reaction: O__O;; Oh...
The first time I saw it was in my English class. I was sitting next to one of my artist friends and I noticed she was working on a picture of what appeared to be two men laying in a bed across each other. Naked. With creatively arranged bedsheets.
Me: ... which one's the girl? I never can tell the difference in anime...
Her: Neither. And you should be able to tell. Look at the blankets. Those aren't pencils under the bedsheets, you know.
Me: O__O;; Oh... -sidle desk away slightly-
So... yeah. For a while, I was wary of it. But now, I wonder how I ever lived without it. :3
