Anybody else read this? If you haven't, I highly reccomend it. I think there are four or five stories in it, all seperate.... and they're all about really really cute boys and some really hot boy-lovin. Try as I might, I can't remember any of the chara names.... but one of them can fly with stuff that comes out of their head 0_o.... ANyway. There is a few hard kinda scenes, but nothing nasty.... its mostly just cute. Buy it! or if you're like me..... find a good book store, go in.... and read the whole thing in there! (Or steal it, if you're evil.....>.> wink

Blooded Nothing Buy it! or if you're like me..... find a good book store, go in.... and read the whole thing in there! (Or steal it, if you're evil.....>.> wink Um, yeah... Alone in my King's Harem comes plastic wrapped because of content. If you want the porn, buy it, don't unwrap it in the store for the kiddies to get their hands on, that's just wrong. Besides, bookstores =/= libraries. That said, the Harem story, is by far, the best in the book. It's a nice sweet fairy tale that really stays with you. I have to say though, Lily Hoshino's boys are nearly indistinguishable from the girls. In the harem, it's hard to tell the difference between Hanabishi, the harem boy, and the various harem girls. The fact that her stories are so unique is the only thing that really saves this book from being bad chicks with dicks pr0n.

it wasn't wrapped in my local book store. in my opion it wasn't really worth buying. Sure it was cute and all but it's just not something that i wanted to buy.

Lirael the Sleeper it wasn't wrapped in my local book store. My copy was wrapped, but someone had unwrapped the other copy in the bookstore. That seems to happen a lot lately. One of these days, a parent is going to notice that OMFG! My kid is looking at PORN in the bookstore!!! and s**t's gonna go down. If you want the porn, buy the porn, don't be all sneaky and stingy and unwrap it in the damn bookstore if it's not going home with you! scream

I LOVED Alone In My King's Harem! It really is one of my favorite Yaoi I have read so far! I thought all of the stories were really cute, but my favorite was the Sea Bed Of Night. I loved that one ^^ Of course, I liked the last two as well (Mature & Moist Flesh) For obvious reasons (pretty much a complete story of porn xD;; ) I think Lily Hoshino is a brilliant artist, and I also thought the fact that the boys looked slightly feminine was nice (I like feminine boys xD;; )
I'm only 16, and I go in and buy these books all the time >_>;; The huge parental advisory stamp they shove on the front cover obviously doesn't do crap xD;;

I thought it was ok, not my fav but still had a few cute stories in it. I didn't care for Canary or the last two stories in it at all. Not only were the boys in the last ones not cute at all, but yeah...those were the most graphic...Anywhos, I agree that Hanabishi's story was the best out of um all but, like I said, they are mostly all cute stories.

I have to agree with that, at first I was confused about whether Hanabishi was a chick or a guy. Other than that, I really liked the stories. The one about the prince and his retainer was my favorite. 3nodding

I loved Alone in my king's harem, although yeah, they boys did look a bit too girlish sometimes. I thought the story about the acrobat was cute and the one where the boy becomes a butterfly or whatever. Also, DMP have released other Lily Hoshino manga called My only king. Its quite cute.

The stories are good, but the art... ugh, I really want boys that actually look like boys. It's ironic because my signature art is based on her other manga that DMP released, My Only King. It was to the extent that I showed the artist I commissioned the cover for MOK and said, I want a pose that is somewhat like that.

Just a word of warning. If you didn't like Alone in my King's Harem, you'll probably hate Lily Hoshino's My Only King. I bought it and now I look back wondering why I wasted my money. The story is very flat, very annoying, and the uke might as well be a girl. They end up dressing like one anyway. xp
