Good Traits tab• • 》 Loyal: Marcus is a stalwart friend. Perhaps due to being an older brother, when he figures out someone he cares about needs something he sets about finding a way to help them. He makes a point to listen to his friends and family and likes to help them brainstorm ideas for their problems or even lend them a listening ear. Amicable by nature Marcus' friendship and loyalty are things you have to work at losing. He likes getting along with and helping people and once you're friends with him, it's not likely something that will change. tab• • 》 Rational: Marcus is good at keeping a level head in most situations and being objective in finding a solution. It takes a lot to make him angry or upset, and hardly ever to the point that he can't make decisions. tab• • 》 Independent: Due to both his parents working, and Eterna being the kind of town where kids wander around the forest Marcus has shedded off the need for a caretaker rather early. He tends to handle problems on his own and does pretty well at taking care of himself and his sister. Bad Traits tab• • 》 Overconfident/Isolated: Due to handling a lot of things by himself and being left to his own devices while his parents worked Marcus tends to isolate himself and alienate himself from asking for help. He also tends to think he can handle most things which can come back to bite him since he's still very much a kid. tab• • 》 Hyperfocused: Usually happens when he's observing nature but can also happen when he's working on a project or just doing day to day things. Sometimes Marcus focuses on something so much everything else falls away. Strengths tab• • 》 Knowledge of Nature: Marcus had the whole of Eterna forest as his backyard and a family full of Rangers. He's also watched nature documentaries since the age of six. All in all he has more to learn but he knows his way around the outdoors and trivia about plants and pokefauna. tab• • 》Endurance: Due to walking around the forest and going on hikes with his family in Pewter Marcus is pretty fit for a kid. He can handle physical strain a bit better and is pretty athletic. tab• • 》 Problem Solving: Due to his rational thinking and playing conflict resolution at home a lot Marcus has a good knack for problem solving and finding solutions. Weaknesses tab• • 》 Reading: Due to how much time he spends outside he's never thought much of books. Doesn't help that he reads slower than most people and sometimes the words get mixed up for him. tab• • 》 Communication : Part of his overconfident/isolation trait, while he's good at listening and giving advice and understands the importance of talking to people ( in fact advices it to most) Marcus' main blind-spot is thinking he can/has to solve things himself and because of this he tends to leave people out of his solutions and not talk to them about them. ( a good example is how he wouldn't tell Koru about Ray's problem because the way he saw it the more people that knew the more of a mess it would be. Or not even asking Elijah for help until Ray brought him in. Not asking his family about trying to befriend Harvey or telling Harvey about his home-life is another example) tab• • 》 Being Out Of His Depth: Marcus is used to handling things and knowing what to do. If a problem makes him feel like he's in over his head it can really get to him, confuse him, and even freeze him for a bit.

Biography tab• • 》 Marcus was born to a pokemon Ranger and a construction worker. His grandparents worked at the Herb shop and were the first generation of their family to settle in Eterna. His grandmother had gone on a pokemon journey and would often tell Marcus tales of their travels. His mother was a poke-ranger, while she stayed at home, her and Marcus' dad fought a lot so his mom took to traveling a lot. His father for his part would work a lot and so Marcus was left to his own devices from a fairly early age. He has a sister and two half brother who he hasn't seen in a while, due to his mother's dislike of them. Marcus knows, due to his father keeping in contact with them, that one is married, while the other is a breeding teacher.
While home was less than ideal sometimes Marcus does have good memories of his early childhood and is fairly family-oriented. He would spend days reading books his mother got him and visiting his grandparents at the herb shop and helping out there. He would also go fishing with his father or grandfather as a child, though that he was a fairly inquisitive child and both his parents and grandparents encouraged that. He was also known for wandering into the Eterna forest on his bike, sometimes taking one of his father's pokemon but sometimes just by himself. He found that he loved observing wild pokemon and learning about them.His mother was originally from Pewter city and would take him on trips there to visit his maternal grandparents. After seeing how interested he was in learning about pokemon and the fighting at home increased, his family decided to enroll him in Ordell. Marcus was also told he would get to know his half brother who is a teacher at the Academy, when he found out about this Marcus was determined to attend Ordell and the class his brother taught. He is a bit nervous having never really talked to the man but is looking foward to it and the oportunities the Academy will bring. His mother helped him catch a slakoth he had befriended in Eterna forest, and he named it Valiant.

◓Slakoth ♂ tab》Valiant Level: 18 Item: None Friendship: Nature: Relaxed ( +def -speed/ likes-sour haters-sweet) Ability: Truant Experience: 0 Moves: tab• • 》 Slack Off tab• • 》 Scratch tab• • 》 Feint Attack tab• • 》 Yawn Bio/Notes: Valiant was caught in Eterna forest by Marcus when the boy placed a nest ball in front of him and he tapped it with his arm. This made the decision to be caught as much Valiant's as it was Marcus' choice to catch him. Now on his second stage evolution he's become rowdier and more temperamental than he ever was as a slakoth. He has rather fortunately found a wrestling partner in Lily. He seems to have some kind of raport with Phillip who refuses to rough around with him. He tends to tackle Marcus and give him bruises but has also become very protective of him. especially since the end of the year.

Bio/Notes: Scrappy and loves to play. Attached to Marcus ever since impriting on him at the daycare. Is the actual baby of the party. After Marcus she's closest to Valiant due to how much they like to rough house. ( kinda sees him as an older brother)

Tuesday 29th August Marcus was on the train for his first day at the academy. He wondered about his pokemon and what awaited him at the academy. He fell asleep and didn’t get into the school grounds until well into the evening.
Wednesday-Aug 30th ( First Day Of School! ) Marcus arrived in his room and unpacked, then made some food for himself. He noticed his room mate wasn’t there yet but found belongings that weren’t his andn so figrued the other student was out. He took a shower and went for a walk before class.
Marcus took a walk to get acquainted with the terrain and teh pokemon that were around Ordell. He tried to see the campsite off campus but found it locked so he wound around to the garden. He came upon Skylar and Marco and saw Skylar tell Marco off for not feeding his pokemon. His opinion of Skylar started forming here. He tried to talk to Marco but the boy left before he could reach him.
Marcus walked into gym class to see Marco trip and fall dropping his books on the ground. Marcus tried to help him but was rebuffed. He saw Iris and Ray help Marco and noticing Ray’s rufflet immediately went to inquire it about it. The two quickly started talking about their respective home towns and their interest and struck up a friendship. Marcus spent most of the class speaking with Ray and infodumping about pokemon until Ray suddenly passed out. Marcus freaked out a bit but managed to wake the boy up and give him some food. They ended up sneaking into the campsite later on and talking about their hopes and dreams for the future. Marcus learned that Ray wanted to travel the world and shared his own ideas for what he may do. After learning through their time talking that the reason Ray had passed out was he hadn’t been eating enough Marcus made it a point to see him whenever he could suspiciously around meal times so Ray would sit down and eat with him. -Met: Marco, Ray, Skylar, Koru Pokemon Scanned: Rufflet,
Thursday, 16th of September Marcus and Tera rode the train to lamia talking about their families and home lives. Marcus found out that Tera’s parents did research and told her about his life as a latchkey kid, being watched by his grandparents when his
Thursday, 17th of September
Walked through the woods to get to the campsite. Met Tera Hatano who also took a route through the woods and started conversation with her. Also talked with Josh ( former room mate) and Evelyn. It turned out Proffesor Burke was late and Mr. Reyes was teaching the class, which he merged with the battle class. Eventually the little group of Kingdra and one Charizard was told to pick a partner. Marcus partnered with Evelyn and the two built a fire together.
Marcus explored the forest for the first time. He stuck to the path despite wanting to see what was in the off trail. He’s been struggling with the routine but also used the time to think about how to help Ray. Scanned: Murkrow! After a while he found a pond and started casting his bait rod for fun. Eh accidentally hooked a ducklett when it ran away. Marcus chased it down and unhooked it after Valiant put it to sleep. He caught the ducklett out of pity not wanting to leave it alone and hurt. Caught: ducklett~
Marcus ran into the nurse’s office and met up with Tera. They were both there to heal their pokemon. Marcus told her about his newly caught ducklett and how he’d gotten caught on a fishing hook. Tera called him smart, which caused him to blush, he confided in him that Phillip was constantly using water gun on him. The two walked to their afternoon class together.
Thursday, 17th of September Called his sister on the way to lamia with Tera. Found out they were going to Lamia because Tera’s mom left a surprise for her. Talked about pokemon research ( since tera’s parents are researchers) Marcus revealed that his dad works construction sometimes out of town and his mother’s a Ranger and usually on assignment.
After lunch with with Tera he came in late to Science and class. Tera was upset she made them late. After a slight reprimand from the teacher they met Ava who let them copy the notes they missed. Marcus inquired about Ava’s pokemon, having always wanted to learn about them and the two get to know each other. The three of them made plans to hang out later and afterwards Marcus excused himself to call his sister.
Met: Ava Scanned: Joltik Was reprimanded by teacher and learned about different types of pokeballs and how they’re made.
Fri-Sept-18th Marcus was late to gym class after sneaking out with Faye to the forest the nigth before. He spent the first half of the class half asleep. Tera arrived and asked if he was okay, and after reassuring her, Marcus chatted with ther a bit and introduced her to Faye. After Tera walked away after the introduction, he and Faye talked and the girl teased him about his bedheaded appearance, Marcus responded by saying that it wasn’t as though the two of them had been sneaking out the night before. Marcus saw Chael arrived with his Pinsir and mentiioned to Faye that the pokemon could break a person in half according to his pokedex. Faye seemed troubled but said that information wsa probably fake. Seeing Koru, Marcus asked her if she had seen Ray around since he hadn’t heard from him in a while and knowing what his mental state was had started to worry. Koru semed dodgy but said she hadn’t seen him. Marcus started doing laps with his classmates, catching up with Evelyn and Ava as he did. Marcus also saw Elijah Chessebelle and Kirsi and Cecile introduce themselves. Marco came in late and made a spectacle throwing dodgeballs around. Seeing that one of the dodgeballs was gonna hit a girl ( Chessebelle Marcus pushed her out of the way, causing them both to fall to the floor. The ball hit Marcus in the back of the neck, hitting Valiant more than him. Chessebelle’s pokemon was disturbed by his trainer being knocked down and released himself, attacking Silvano of all people. Marcus sugested she call back her pokemon. As the dodgeball war became more convulated, Marcus asked Evelyn Chess and if they wanted to go to the basketball courts to play/escape. Going there, they met up with Elijah and Cecile who were playing together, Marcus introduced himself and the group got a game going. While they were playing Evelyn asked him to join the research club, a beat later Elijah was saying he also wanted to join and Marcus agreed he would join. Marcus and Elijah talked about what they liked about Pokemon research and why they were interested in it. After class the group of mostly Kingdras made plans for lunch.
Fri Sept 18th Marcus had lunch with Chess, Cecile, Evelyn and Elijah. Marcus asked Elijah if he played basketball at hime and asked about organising more games between the two of them. They also talked about Elijah’s hometown and their pokemon. Marcus shared that his mother’s side of the family was mostly made up of law enforcers and rangers.
Sat-19th-Sept Marcus walked in after following Harvey wanting to talk to him. Marcus was energetic at fist but quickly faded as he realized Harvey wasn’t interested in him and became disheartened. They were interrupted by Chael Riverton who questioned why Harvey was acting that way towards a student. Marcus supplied that they were brothers but that only seemed to make the situation worse.
Met: Chessebelle! Elijah! Cecile!
Thurs Oct 15th Marcus went for a walk and observed ladyba and scanned them. He ran into Faye and gave her some books on evolving Amirah. He was spotted by a security guard and quickly ran off so as not to get in trouble for being late to class.
Marcus wandered off into the forest and was late for class. Feeling nervous, he walked up to Rey and asked what the class was doing. ( since he had missed over half of class) They were assigned to locate bowls of water to learn to pay attention to their surroundings. He then chatted with Elijah. They were then told classes were cancelled after that and to go pack for a trip.
Friday, 16th of October Marcus went to the museum as part of the lamia city field trip. He stuck to Ray for the most part still helping him stay away from Koru. He saw as Marco and the kid trying to hold Skylar’s hands fought and rolled his eyes at it. During the museum trip Marcus learned about the Incan empire. Afterwards Faye’s pokemon got lose and tried to steal an artifact. Marcus said hi to Faye before heading out to the restaurant with the rest of the class.
Marcus sat with Ray and Elijah, then switched them around in tables, dragging them to sit with Ava so that Koru woulnd’t be able to sit with them.
Saturday, 17th of October Marcus followed Ray into the town square where he found him crying on the ground. Marcus did his best to calm his friend down and confort him and finally found out about Ray’s sister and why he had been so self destructive and sad. Feeling overwhelmed and scared himself Marcus none the less talked to Ray about why he was valualable and needed to be around and conforted him.
Thurs-Oct-29th Thursday 29th October Walked around the grassland feeling despodent over how much was going on with Ray and how much felt over his head. Marcus spent the rest of the early morning watching pokemon and wishing he had someone to talk to. He eventually texted Evelyn Tera and Elijah and made plans to meet them in class.
He met up at the pathways with Ray after having been texting him, Tera and Elijah. Marcus offered him a bear claw and walked with him to Outdoors class. While walking, Marcus tried to engage Ray in conversation asking him about class and offering to take pictures in the grassland for the photomania club.
Thursday 29th October Had a joint battle/outdoors class again taught by Mr. Reyes. Marcus partnered up with someone from battle class to have a battle. ( he didn’t catch the name) Marcus walked in with Ray having met in the pathways. They talked about things they could do with the photomania club. Field trips were brought up. Ray wanted to stay away from Marcus’ usual outdoors friends so Marcus left Valiant with Ray and met up with Elijah Tera and Evelyn. Asked Tera to have lunch together, talked to Evelyn about research club. Had lunch with Tera, left Valiant with Ray ( thought itd make him feel better)

Marcus ran into Kirsi after class skipping class with Tera. he was in higher spirits after speaking with a friend. When Kirsi spotted him she confronted him about his treatment of Ray and Koru saying she was keeping Ray and Koru apart on purpose and being a jerk. Marcus responded that Koru was making Ray skittish and this wasn’t what he needed. Marcus said Koru couldn’t see past her nose and was making it all about her, making Kirsi angry. The two wound up in a screaming match, wanting to get away Marcus had Phillip hit Kirsi with a water gun. When Kirsi said Ray was being selfish, Marcus flew off the handle and screamed at her. Harvey found them and scolded Marcus, telling him he couoldn’t go around acting like a punk in the school that Harvey worked at. Upset, Marcus ran off but not before letting it drop that they were brothers.
After the fight with Harvey, Marcus went to the grasslands to try to calm down. He ended up having a meltdown. After he could somewhat walk around he noticed Phillip had found an Ekans, newly hatched and left behind in her nest. Having always loved the pokemon Marcus opted to capture her. Having had a horrible day he promptly left and went to bed.
Friday Oct 30th!
Fri--Oct-30th Marcus saw Iris with Marco and Tera and had breakfast with them. Met:Iris
Marcus walked to class with Tera, the two talked about camping and Marcus showed her his new Ekans. He found Ashley outside the gym and noticed that she seemed scared Marcus gave her some words of encouragement and a hug. Soon Ray came in and handed him Valiant, having kept him from their earlier outdoors class. Moses Thrornstein was the substitute and the class consisted of touch football. Marcus did okay but didn’t play overly aggressive. ( he hadn’t since he became friends with Eve) he was put in a team with Evelyn, Tera, Ava, GIsselle, Ray.
Sunday Oct 31st Marcus decided to skip the Halloween event, not feeling in the mood due to having gotten in trouble earlier. However, Ray called him and told him he was in the haunted house and was scared, so Marcus slipped on his shoes and pokemon kigu and headed out.
Thurs Nov `19th Thursday 19th of November Walked in with Ava and talked about her new Spinarak and how much people were freaked out by bug pokemon ( which neither of them got) Met up with Elijah, Tera, Rey, and Evelyn. Saw Rey had become a shiny pokemon. Was assigned to build a tarp. Partnered up with Ray. Ray seemed bothered so Marcus tried to distract him. Marcus eventually asked him if he knew Kirsi. He found out that Ray and Kirsi had known each other since they were kids. ( and that she probably knew Rina too) Ray ended up running off much to Marcus’ confusion. He left for lunch with Evelyn and Elijah.
Marcus arrived at class after having lunch with Evelyn. Koru’s challenge was still in his mind as he wondered if the type advantage would help. He confided in Elijah that he was overwhelmed and worried that Ray wasn’t getting any better. ( it felt nice but weird having someone to confide in) he also told Elijah about his suspicions that Kirsi knew Rina. Mr Reyes subbed for the class and assigned them to scan every Pokemon in the forest.
Friday Nov-20 Marcus walked into class and met up with Tera and Elijah. Marcus’ ducklett walked over to Iris’ ducklett and tried to befriend her. Marcus meanwhile, chatted with Elijah about playing basketball together ( and had allergies but bad) Tera and Marcus then talked about homework and realized that both of their assignments were different, meaning one of them got the assignment wrong, they then proceeded to freak out about it. As class started they found out they’d be playing basketball, Marcus asked Tera if she wanted to play with him and Elijah but Tera collapsed. Marcus tried to help but Marco beat her to the punch and took her to the nurse along with Iris. Although Marcus was concerned he felt like too many chefs in the kitchen would get in the way and instead opted to check on Tera later.
Wesn Dec 15th Marcus along with the rest of class E was summoned to the daycre. He saw Skylar being mean to Iris and another kid. Marcus’ opinion of Skylar went down even more. He spent the morning with Elijah and Tera and told Iris even is he had done something to upset them, people shouldn’t talk to her like Skylar had. Elijah gave Marcus a scarf which Marcus liked and the two joked about Skylar being an ice queen. Ray arrived and after Marcus asked him where he had been asked if they found it entertaining to pretend to care about him which confused Marcus. Ray accused him and Elijah of laughing at him and only pretending to be his friend. Marcus started to try to calm him down but Ray walked off telling Marcus a childhood friend had tol him the truth. Marcus instantly suspected Kirsi.
Before anything could happen Marco broke into the room and started screaminhg about a dream with a white rabbit. Marcus was too shaken to do anything but couldn’t help but feel Marco was making things worse. The daycare assistant then came out and announced they would be working with dragon pokemon. Each student was told to pick a dragon to work with. Marcus chose Deion and offered the pokemon a treat. Afterwards they were told the class would be going on a trip.
Thursday, 16th of December Talked to Iris as he was getting ready for the field trip in the snowy district. ( saw Ava with Koru, avoided them) Met up with Elijah. Marcus met Iris’ friend Silvano who...seemed pretty aloof and right down snobby. Marcus and Elijah both played nice however ( well Marcus may have been overly nice to mess witt Silvano) Mr Reyes eventually announced the field trip dressed as a conductor from the Polar Express and the train took off. Sat with Elijah on the way there.
Thursday, 16th of December Marcus walked in with Elijah and watched as Silvano and Marco battled over who got to talk to Maria, rolling his eyes and calling them dunderheads. He talked to Elijah about Kirsi and about still being troubled about Ray. He confronted Kirsi about the things she said to Ray asking her how she could possibly be her friend and have him wish he was dead and blame him for something so painful for him. Kirsi retorted that he didn’t know anything. Koru then challenged him to battle him again in Kiris’ defense. Riled up from worry Marcus found himself accepting.

The battles were put on hold however when a mysterious figure released dragons in the district. Marcus, alongside the rest of class E against the dragons. Seeing Tera go after the figure he went after her and fought alongside her, trying to discern why the dragons were attacking. After Marcus got knocked down Valiant roared in his trainers defense and evolved into Vigoroth.
Fir Dec 17th Marcus met up with Evelyn and talked about what they would do during break.
Wesn January 16th The students were called into the daycare. Upon arriving, Marcus hung out with Ava and Elijah as they talked about their break. Marcus saw Ray talking to Iris but wasn’t sure if he could approach him as they hadn’t made out yet. They were told they could each pick a Pokemon to add to their team. Marcus picked the Deino he had observed that first visit. Ava, Elijah and him talked about setting up a pokemon playdate for their dragons.
Monday, 5th of March Arrived at the goodbye party. Meet up with all of class E. Got Iris’ phone number. Got to see Tera get her gible.
Year 2• •》 Arrived at Evren region with Harvey and had a nice..ish breakfast. Took the train to the academy station I thought I saw Iris there. Hung out with Tera and caught up in the auditorium. :3 Got knocked down by Marco after getting on stage for the sorting ceremony. ( wound up on top of Tera and Eve) Scanned--& Larvitar.
