tab♛tabPersonality & School Record ▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁ tabtabtabtabtab"Me? Scared of water? Since when?"
Good Traits tab• • 》 Intelligent -- Jericho is a bright kid, even though his grades may not always show it. tab• • 》 Inventive -- He has many creative and unusual ideas, especially regarding things he enjoys. tab• • 》 Careful -- Jericho takes his time with things, so to avoid getting hurt or ending up in something he can't fix. Rarely will he rush into something. Bad Traits tab• • 》 Apathetic -- Unless the subject is something Jericho is seriously passionate about, he can't bring himself to care a whole lot. tab• • 》 Frank -- If Jericho is anything, it's honest. He'll let you know exactly how he feels, even if you may not like the answer. tab• • 》 Inconsiderate -- Jericho isn't too good at thinking about others. Usually, he's focused on himself, his interests, and his problems.
▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁▁
Strengths tab• • 》 If tuning people out counts as a strength, he's got it. Even if he's in a loud or hectic environment (or just around someone who won't stop talking), he can remain focused on whatever he's doing. tab• • 》 Picks up on and remembers concepts and facts easily, but usually doesn't care enough to apply it to something. tab• • 》 Is able to read music and play the saxophone. Jericho has been playing for nearly 3 years now, and it's one of the things he really enjoys. Weaknesses tab• • 》 Rather than admitting and talking about his fears and shortcomings - especially his fears of deep water and water pokemon, as well as his difficulty discerning colors - he'd rather hide it, lying about it if he has to. tab• • 》 Because he is usually indifferent towards things, Jericho can easily come across as rude or mean. This is something he is also indifferent towards. tab• • 》 Not great with small talk, especially to new people.

Biography tab• • 》 Jericho was born and lived much of his life in a small apartment in Veilstone City, Sinnoh. His parents, who married and had their first child - Jericho's older brother - at a young age, spent a lot of their time bickering and arguing about even the smallest things. During said arguments, Jericho would either go listen to music in his room or play video games online with friends down the street. This went on for a few years. When Jericho was seven years old, his parents finally divorced each other. His father stayed in Veilstone City while Jericho's mother moved back to her family in Celestic Town. The two were given split custody over their children. They traveled between Veilstone and Celestic every two weeks, escorted by a parent or relative.
Jericho was caught off guard by the divorce, and it impacted how he interacted with the world. While his teenage brother acted out and broke rules, Jericho withdrew. He began to show a lot of disinterest towards most things, save for what he was passionate about. The young boy spent his time playing video games or listening to music. Although the two were now estranged, his parents felt the same worry over Jericho's general demeanor. The boy just didn't spend much time at home with his family and wasn't interested in a lot of things. They tried everything with only mild success. He had no interest in little league football or camping. They started saxophone lessons when he was eight, which worked well to get him interested in doing something more productive than video games, but his parents didn't think it was enough. It just became one more thing that he did alone in his room.
When his dad heard about Ordell Academy, he thought that learning about many new things would teach him to at least care a little more. He could even start caring for a pokemon! For once, his parents agreed that this was the best course of action. Jericho, however, was indifferent to the idea, even with the prospect of having a pokemon of his own. Unlike a lot of kids, Jericho was more into computers, video games, and saxophone than pokemon. Nevertheless, his parents sent in an application and were excited to hear that they would accept him. Jericho is a bit disappointed to be leaving his friends in the city, but it's not like he has much of a say in things.

Jericho rolled his eyes at what laid before him. A club fair? On Spirit Day? Wasn't this holiday about getting candy or something? With a small scoff, he adjusted the halo headband he had on, then the small devil horns around his Chikorita's head. The latter took a little longer than he would have liked, due to the colors. His mom had packed something for him and his pokemon to wear together tonight, and if she caught wind that he wasn't wearing it from the teachers, he'd be stuck in this school for good. Jericho wore a halo headband and a white shirt with some small wings sewn into the back. His Chikorita, on the other hand, had some devil horns on his head, and some small red wings tied around his back. To Jericho, it was frustrating, as the costume blended in completely with his pokemon. Maybe this Chikorita somehow looked worse than Jericho did in costume, and he wouldn't ever know.
He leaned against the hallway wall, watching other kids walk around dressed as ghosts and vampires. They popped in and out of rooms to learn about the clubs this place had to order. By what he heard, joining a club was mandatory here. Jericho could only wonder why. He had no interest in spending time with these people; wouldn't classtime be enough? The house reps seemed to be in two or three clubs at minimum, and based on the welcoming ceremony alone, Jericho knew he wanted nothing to do with them. If he joined a club, they'd become completely unavoidable. And Jericho didn't care to make one. Even if he wanted to, he had no clue how. 'Perhaps I could get out of this somehow...' As much as he wanted to, he couldn't think of how. It was unfair, really. He had no other options aside from listening to a bunch of cheery reps plug their weird hobbies. And by the end of the day, he would have to actually join one. Gross.
Besides, he had another reason to be at the club fair aside from joining some stupid club. Jericho had been asked by the guidance counselor to help one of his visually impaired peers around until she got a seeing-eye pokemon. Normally, the idea of being linked to someone indefinitely was something he wouldn't jump at. And even with this, Jericho wasn't so sure what he was being requested to do. However, having visual impairments himself, he could relate a lot to her problems. He was pretty sure that was why the counselor had asked him to do this in the first place. While being called out for his eyesight made him tense, who better to help than someone who actually understood it?
According to the counselor, her name was Mokihana, and in the crowd of club fair attendees, she wasn't too hard to miss. Jericho calmly walked up to her. "You're Mokihana, right?" It didn't hurt to double check. "Uh, yeah. I'm Jericho. I think the counselor guy should've mentioned me. I can help you out until you find a seeing-eye pokemon... If you want help, I mean. It's up to you." He shrugged a little. It felt weird to just talk to some girl he didn't know. It wasn't like she was completely helpless; Jericho hated being babied over his eyesight, and for all he and the counselor guy knew, she was the same way. He almost wanted to ask about her eyesight, but that was something he hated too. It was the only reason he lied to people about it in the first place.
