"Oh, um, I'll do my best!" Tzofia followed Kwelin over to the tree, taking a very long moment to stare doubtfully at the saw. If this was the task they had to do, she couldn't just say no, but...Well, she should probably warn him that she wasn't going to be very much help at this. "I'm not very strong though." She wondered if that even needed to be said. She didn't think she looked like she would be strong, so he must have thought she was capable as she was.
Hurrying to the other side before he could get the idea she wasn't wanting to be helpful after all, she grabbed the end of the saw and helped lift it to the tree trunk. Although she knew better than to get distracted, she couldn't help but spare a moment to be glad Avvisi had turned her interviewing abilities on the greenblooded girl instead of her. A little longer to not worry about the camera on her! Assuming it didn't...turn to them to get footage of them working. Oh dear.

While the others did their own thing, Philip continued to mop. It wasn't glamorous but he didn't mind. He was the type of troll to make anything fun! Swinging the mop around, he grasped the handle like a microphone and began to sing.
"Birds flyin' high~" The detective crooned, easing the mop to his other hand. "You know how I feel..." Philip's eyes twinkled before he continued on.
"Moon in the sky, you know how I feel~" Philip raised his face up to admire the night. The wind seemed to answer him, rustling playfully at his hat.
"Breeze drifting on byyy, you know how I feel..." The orangeblood closed his eyes, enjoying the sensation.
"It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new lifeeee.... for me." He held the mop straight up and released it, letting it start to fall for drama.
"And I'm feeling goooooood!" Philip grinned, grabbing the handle right before it hit the ground and then bursting into a complete dance solo, lost in his own janitorial world.

Avvisi Quills 158 words
The camera troll gave Avvisi a little signal, and Avvisi frowned a second, but nodded. He walked off, they had plenty of film to work with. She would go and edit it later, but now she could relax a little, have some fun!
Avvisi agreed with the dancing while mopping thing. Way more her style. She grabbed a mop and started to dance along to Philip's ... singing? Sure, singing. She grinned as he dramatically dropped the mop. "Brilliant!" She exclaimed while she clapped and giggled. She was free of the camera now, she could have some fun! With that she jumped up to Philip and took his arm in hers. "Come on! Spin me!" She said as she tried to get him to dance in a circle with her. She loved that feeling when you had a partner, and could spin really fast, and almost float, so to speak. "Just a little! There arnt any adults around now anyway."

They danced for the rest of the construction of 2B, twirling and leaping but most importantly laughing! Philip grinned at his willing dance partner, deciding that Avvisi was pretty cool in his book! Anyone who was willing to hop into an impromptu dance solo was awesome!
"Oh shoot! They'll leave without us!" The detective gasped spotting the others head towards one of the golf carts. Dashing after them and grabbing the tealblood's hand, he dragged them over in time to hop on and head to the next construction site! It took a little while for them to make it to the next one but when they did he was impressed to find it already booming with business! Hopping off, he started to look for something to do while the others woke up from the long ride.
A shovel was thrust into his hands and Philip weakly nodded. Trudging over to the dig site, he began to dig while wondering what the hole was for. Shoving the point into the dirt, he tried to come up with a new game or story to make it fun. It would be a lot harder to dance around in all this dirt. Kicking some into a nearby pile, he brightened at the silly messiness and took off his trench coat, tossing it on a nearby crate.
"C'mon, it's fun!" The hemoanon boy called to the others. He nodded his head to a stockpile of shovels, insinuating for them to grab some and come over.
"We're digging for buried treasure!" He wasn't beyond playing make believe games for fun. Philip would never grow out of that stage really. It was more fun to have an imagination!
"Don't make that face, we've got to do it for the site anyway." He smiled sheepishly at those who grumbled and groaned about it.

"There is no treasure here." Kwelin remarked sourly at Philip's little game. Erm, that had come out harsher than he'd meant for it. Ugh, fine, he grabbed a shovel and stabbed it into the ground. He didn't want the others to get so fed up of him that they left him behind on the next bus to the next site.
"What I mean is, there are no precious minerals to find here. We won't be able to dig deep enough to find fossils or anything substantial." He hefted a chunk of dirt over his shoulder and grunted. This was hard labor and he did not enjoy the ache that had been building up in his back these past few nights. It might not be a bad idea to take a break sometime. A real break, not one of those dance parties.
"We should get some rations soon. Are the rest of you hungry?" It would be important to stay hydrated and stay energized. A young troll could get seriously hurt if they didn't care for their bodies. He knew it was not typical for trolls to concern themselves with safety much but he had found it better to be preventative than reactive when it came to trying to not die.
"It looks like there's a booth over there. After we dig some more, we're all going, got it?" He commanded, not taking no for an answer. Kwelin knew what was best for them all, after all, and he wouldn't hear anything otherwise! He continued to shovel out as much dirt as he could before helping retrieve a wheelbarrow to help start moving some of it to a designated zone. Clearing a large enough spot for the dock to be built on was taking a lot of work and he could see several other teams doing the same work. But his group would be the best!

Quote: SITE: BETA 2C Word Count: 302 At Kwelin's first response, Philip's smile wavered momentarily. But as quickly as it'd flickered, it was back again as he simply continuing shoveling dirt without responding. The blueblood seemed to get the hint and backtracked. He let the other boy continue on, eventually with more orders on what to do next. They dug for a while longer, widening the space and trying to level the bumps out. It was a lot harder than he'd expected! When they finished he felt a sense of satisfaction and pride at what they'd accomplished. Wiping his brow at the hole they'd made, the hemoanon waved a superior over to inspect their dig site and let them know they could continue on to another task.
"Come on Tzo, let's go get some lemonade." The orangeblood smiled, nodding his head in the direction of the refreshment's table. It'd been a while since he'd checked in with her even though the whole point had been to work on their teamwork! Making his way over, he poured them each a glass and grabbed a few napkins. It was always better to have napkins than to not have napkins.
"How're you holding up?" He gave her a small encouraging grin, hoping she wasn't too stressed by all the moving around to different sites! He was used to the hustle and bustle of public transport and city life, as was Tzofia from Civisect, but it had been a lot of traveling. Plus with so much physical labor it was definitely tiring work! Not to mention the huge crowds of strangers they were expected to work with at a moment's notice. He just wanted to make sure she wasn't feeling overwhelmed! If she was, he was more than happy to call it a night and take her back to the dorms to rest.

Tzofia half wondered if the military even needed them to help out on the building sites. She knew it was just that so very many trolls had turned up to volunteer for the space program, eager as anyone would be for the prospect of reclaiming the stars, but it felt strange to get to one site, do one task, and then rush to transport to head to the next. What would happen when they ran out of sites? Would there be anyway left for those too young to go up to contribute?
Well, the military would find some use for them. For now she would focus her attention on keeping up with Philip and hoping that future use didn't involve being inside the space tower. After some time struggling with digging at the shovel and laughing quietly at the prospect of finding treasure, she nodded her agreement with the idea of a break. This was hard work!
"Oh, I am! Um, hungry, I mean," Tzofia threw in, giving Kwelin a small, grateful smile. She jumped a little at the 'after we dig some more' part was added in, nodding and hurrying back to work rather than disappoint him. Luckily though, there wasn't too much more to do. She climbed out of the site they'd been digging, shaking out her hands to try and ease some of the soreness, then nodded and smiled to Philip.
"Lemonade sounds even better." Of course she still wanted food, but it was a lot easier to set aside hunger than it was thirst. "I'm...I'm doing alright. It's, um, it's not so bad out here. Maybe it's possible to work too hard to worry sometimes?" She gave a little laugh, but before she could move on to asking how he felt about the way things were going, there was a familiar flash of white.
Tzofia jumped, startled back a step away from the detective as she stared at Pawpa. Would he jump on her again? He could definitely make it across the distance between her and Philip. It had been embarrassing enough dropping the saw and screaming the last time but this time she had lemonade!
