Cursing to herself Eilese grabbed a bottle of bourbon, her hand shaking as she spilled her pills over the counter. Making a fist she smacked it against the counter, pain jolting her body still for a moment as she grabbed two and with a gulp of the liquor she felt them go down and the burn that followed after.
Another large gulp for good measure and she sat down steadying her breath as she relaxed herself, another restless attempt at sleep that brought back nightmares about here. She didnt hate her past, not most of it anyway, she had loved dancing on the stage, loved the looks of men wanting her and she held pride in knowing how easily she could thin a wallet that came in heavy. The things she didnt like came after the men left the bar's and waited outside for one to walk past unknowing.
A dull ache from her side pulled her from the visit to the past and she stood with a groan. She needed out, the bar had yet to open but that didnt stop her from leaving yet. Pushing her medication into a pile she set the bourbon beside it knowing later she would seek it out again. So she left it up on a bleak counter and turned from the dark bathroom and out of her house. She needed a distraction, one she could use for a time, until more drama came. all she wanted was a quiet life for some time but somehow she always seemed to attract the trouble, even when she slept her dreams caused her to many issues to stay asleep.
