"Yes, of course."
The lioness had been approached by the happy couple about moving forward with a marriage. It had been many moons since her last ceremony and although she was rusty she did look forward to it. When the day had finally arrived she had leaned on her maned wolf to help her with most of the preperations. Now he was off and running errands for her. The ceremony was going to be happening soon. In fact, if she wasn't mistaken, she was sure she could hear the padding of paws.
When she had spoken with the pair of lions she had gone over the ceremony with them. She had advised them that the ceremony would be brief, there wans't much to be done save for exchanging loving glances and so on. She would hold true to a number of the traditions, but most folks were in a rush these days. The primary thing she had advised them was to bring a token to exchange. The token should be something of importance to them. Something that could also represent them. Often times the token was a piece of jewelry, a weapon, or some article of cloth. Kluna wasn't picky about the item, but about it's meaning.
The ceremony would be held at her den. A space to the side was specifically set up for a sacrifice that was typically made in honor of the couple. The sacrifice was used to strengthen the ritual and bring blessings upon the married couple.
When she felt prepared enough she waited at her den entrance for the pair of lions she was anticipating. Her stomach gurgled impolitely, a reminder she'd need to eat soon. Unfortunately the small sounds of an animal (that Stylter had captured for the sacrifice) were not helping her. It'll be over soon. She soothed herself.

Aruná was as well prepared as she could, but there was still a flutter of nerves and her mouth was dry as a desert. When Cythraul had agreed to marry her she'd set her mind to learning as much as she could about a proper Stormborn marriage ceremony and what it entitled. After talking to friends, Priestesses and Lawspeakers she had a pretty good idea about what they were going to do, and how. She wanted to do this right. For much of her time here, she'd mentally been on her way somewhere else, and she never expected to stay for very long. This was her accepting the Stormborn as her own at the same time as she married Cythraul. It was nothing she'd told anyone, but those that knew her could see that this ceremony was very important to her for some reason.
As an extra bonus the High Priestess had agreed to officiate their ceremony! She glanced at the Lawspeaker that would be recording the event... somehow? They must have really good memory. Aruná couldn't remember his name for the life of her, but it wasn't important right now. She gave a nod to the high priestess and after some hesitation a nod to the lawspeaker too. She carried her own offering in her mouth so speaking would be a bit tricky until she let go of it.
In the soft hide was a plait of her head fur. Probably not as impressive as the one from Cythraul's mane, but she simply couldn't grow fur that long. Udongo had helped her braid a section of her hair before cutting it. It hadn't been pleasant since the tools at their disposal were claws and teeth, but the result was worth it. Her other gift decorated the plait. It was the old and worn piece of pelt from her coming of age ceremony. She had always worn it in some manner, either as a bracelet around a leg or braided in her hair. Now the piece of hare pelt was interwoven with the plait of her fur. The spirits would understand.
When she learned about the significance of the plaits, that they would be used to send off the spirit properly, she knew she wanted to do this. It wasn't a very fancy gift, but it held a lot of meaning to her. Cythraul must have noticed that she always wore it, so even if she'd never talked about what it was or what it meant to her she hoped he'd realise that it meant something.

The pair had arrived with warmth in their eyes, a hesitated step, but it was clear the hesitation wasn't about desiring one another. Even Kluna could recognize when two lions were meant to be. Some marriages were simply a way of transferring ones value onto another, sometimes a tricky lioness would use it as a way to get herself up another rank. Anything was possible, but moments like this encouraged the High Priestess to continue with the ceremony without hesitation herself. Nerves were clearly high and she allowed herself a small smile. At least one of the pair had seen himself out on a Viking.. yet this made him look like a mouse.
"I'm glad to see you've both brought your offerings." Blue eyes rested on Cythrauls firstly and then Arunás. The pair of items appeared plain at first though she knew that plain didn't mean much. The items together were meant to come from the heart - this was an unbreakable bond between two individuals that were meant to become stronger as one. These items would do just fine. "I'm also very happy neither of you got cold paws." The High Priestess rarely joked in times surrounding ceremonies, but the pair seemed more nervous than necessary. Likely it was over the personal meanings of this bond.
Kluna found herself surrounded by silence as some chuckles subsided. She glanced at the Lawspeaker present for the ceremony and held back a sneer. Surely her word was enough, but yet she couldn't question his presence. His word meant something, not that hers didn't, but he could spread words about the successful marriage. In the silence she gathered up the two items from each lion and rested them in front of her. Stylter was quick to return after setting up the final things for the sacrafice. With him he brought some leather - the leather had been dried and prepared to receive articles. Each was a long enough strand to wear comfortably around the neck of it's owner. Today the owners were Cythraul and Aruná.
Deciding to skip a little fluff she chose to get right to it. "Cythraul." A brief sigh between names. "Aruná." Yet another pause. "It's quite obvious to both mortals and immortals alike that you've grown close." All while she spoke Stylter was preparing the offerings to be attached to the necklace material. He did well not to disturb the carefully wrapped mane/feathers and other materials. "The items you brought today symbolize that you're giving a piece of yourself to another. You understand your rights?" Had the pair been born here she'd not have questioned this part, but she was thorough.
