Gnash liked to come to Four Fronds. Besides being much more seadweller-friendly than other major cities with its spas and resorts and large population of highbloods, the forest provided a good place for her to hunt for insects with her lusus. Even if that wasn't what her lusus wanted her to do.
Do you see the hunters Natash? Out in the distance the strong are killing the weak, those who have failed and those who have broken the laws of your society. They are being duly punished by those among you who are powerful rulers and you would do good to pay attention. You may be required to be one of those hunters, Angel was saying, her lure swinging as she spoke, thick legs crushing branches a few paces behind her. Gnash nodded blankly, not paying attention, her eyes focused on the ground, the tree bark, where a shiny bug might be awaiting her watchful eye.
Instead of a good bug, what she spotted was an older troll lingering by the edge of the forest. Not a hunter though, unless she was grossly mistaken on what they looked like. The blueblood was dressed casually and looked more like a sports friend than the much rougher, weapons-filled trolls who did the hunts. Gnash tilted her head, and called out to her.
"Hey hello are you also looking for fun things to do out here in the forest?"Melancholies
