Dooley gave a nod, he had no problem what so ever getting through this as quickly as possible. He wanted to get in and find Kaelyn as soon as possible. "No problem friend." He positioned himself in a crouch and pounced before any more, less than pleasantries, could be exchanged. Normally he would exchange pleasant chatter but it defiantly seemed his opponent wasn't for that.
Using his pure strength, he opted to topple the stormborn captain in one hit, that would at least relieve him of having to battle and get him in tot he lands quickly. He'd used this move before, on wilderbeast, it always worked on them so hopefully it would work on the pale lion before him.
Wessex growled and barked at the lion captain, a frown on her muzzle. She didn't like this one bit, she didn't think Dooley had thought this through at all and she was terrified he was going to get hurt. Her tail swept between her legs and her ears flattened. She hoped this would go well, seeing her friend hurt would just be a tragedy.

Oh boy, that was going to be one hell of a hit and Tethys knew it. The lion deliberately braced himself for the blow and managed to deflect part of it. It would still bruise him and his muscles would ache for a while, but he wasn't going to get anymore pretty scars for the time being. If there was one thing he had taken from this entire, albeit brief encounter, this lion knew exactly how to use his weight to his advantage. Wherever he came from, they'd taught him how to make use of what he had and he couldn't fault Dooley for that.
Still, he really wasn't in the mood to be a punching back for the rest of the morning. Given that he could already see that the lion not only had potential, but talent, he was wasting his time in being subjected to further blows. Oh no doubt Tethys would have recovered and eventually fought back, he'd sober up eventually, but how black and blue would he be by then?
He was stubborn, but he wasn't that stubborn.
"All right," he thrust Dooley away from him, demonstrating he did have his own strength even if he wasn't the best at using it when hungover. "See that log over there," he pointed towards the fallen log, not entirely petrified yet so it would still take a fair amount of force to break. "Put a proper dent in that and you're in," he said.
If Dooley could cause that thing to crack enough, then he sure as hell at the strength behind him to do enough damage to make the more grumpy Vikings happy...
