There he was, just like they said he'd be. He was curled up comfortably in what should arguably have been a private spot. He was outside some sort of den, one she would later come to acknowledge as his sister's, but for now she assumed it was his. Strange how he would sleep outside when one possessed such shelter, but on this occasion she didn't care; she was here for a reason and she wasn't going to back away now. It was his fault that he was asleep and not aware of his surroundings, thus he would pay the price.
Consequently the adolescent lioness found herself walking towards him as quietly as she possibly could. All things considered he seemed like he was a deep sleeper as he didn't appear to be stirring at all. How weak, one really did need to be a light sleeper to remain safe. How had this lion become a Captain when he was so unaware of his surroundings! Surely her father was so much more competent?
She resisted the urge to sniff as she drew ever closer, then she took a moment or two to survey her target...
He was a large lion, and rumour had it that he was god-born, but this didn't mean that he was any better than the average Reaver. He was proving that right now, fortunately for her she also knew that if she came in at the right angle she could cause considerable damage as well.
It was then that she pounced, aiming squarely for the weakest of the spots. Imagine what she could boast about when she wiped out a captain!

She was thrown to the side like a rag doll and Tethys lay down once more, Dione would have heard the commotion and come to inspect him...or alternatively Nanabe would have sought him out when she realised that something had occurred. Until then he simply had to put up with the throbbing in his thigh, a thigh that had been recovering nicely.
"From you?" he asked and gave a scathing chuckle. "Absolutely nothing," he replied and nodded his head dismissively. "You do your father no credit, now get the hell out of my sight," he instructed.
"If you try this s**t again, whether it be with me or my band, I will end you," he warned and narrowed his eyes. He liked a child with spark in them, but when they fought dirty and held such arrogance, he saw no use for them either. At present every last bit of her potential was completely wasted and unless she learned some honour, it would continue to be.
"Learn some manners and you might yet be worth the time of more than just your own sire. Now get out." he snapped.
...It was an order that was obeyed for now. She had her 'victory', even if there would be few who respected her depending on the circle she entered, but it would be enough for her shallow circle to appreciate no doubt.
