On the island is a short mountainous structure with a number of tunnels in the side, leading to the labyrinth of tunnels and array of caves beneath the Earth. The Ganzak pirates can still be found loitering around the island.

“So use this here to bring down the fever. After that, just a good night’s rests will take care of the rest. But if anything changes, let us know and we'll rush right over” Praises and thanks, before a young woman left. A smile gifted as she exited, before a hand rested on the young woman’s shoulder. “Good job, Tahira. You truly are gifted” A slight blush, as she scratched the back of her head. “It’s nothing” Mere words, before she eyed the door. Pride and joy spread throughout her form. Knowing that she was able to aid people, was enough to complete her. And knowing her skills, she knew that that woman’s son’s illness would surely pass before the night. The doctor was more than astounded by the growth Tahira had shown, in such a short amount of time. Though even more so the knowledge she had already known upon her arrival here. Skeptical at first, the day she entered his place of business, browsing the many herbs and remedies that lined his shelves. Her eyes shined like a child with a brand new toy. It wasn’t usual to see someone so astounded with medical tools and procurement's, but she obviously changed that.

“That was the last of today, so you can go early” Slightly defeated, seeing as she never minded staying late. It gave her a chance to read up more on medical knowhow. Far different from what she learned back home. Though it was still quite thrilling to read and learn up on. The world was large and vast. And so was the world of medicine. Her dream was to learn all that she could. Make a cure and remedy for each and every illness known to man. And be successful in aiding lives. That dream still lingered and would continue. Though seeing her defeated glance, he passed her a book to read up on. It brought back that joyful expression. “See you tomorrow sensei's!” With a wave, she made her way out and through town. With work over, there wasn’t much to do. So while the sun still shined, she made her way along the town path.

Those that came to know her and her compassion, would wave with smiles. Children would run up to her, calling her sister and mispronunciation her name. It didn’t falter her in the least. It brought a smile to her face. They showed off their missing teeth, new toys and even scrapes upon knees and elbows that no longer resided. All thanks to her skills. With praise and words of warmth, she would bid them farewell, for the time being. It really warmed her to see so many smiles. Which soon made her mind think of home. Her own village back within the land of sand. How were they fairing? Were they still well and healthy?

Though not only that, her thoughts wondered to those of Cocoyasi. The village she had called home for some time now. It had been a mere two weeks since she and the doctor mad their way to Tanaka Island from East Blue. The doctor’s colleague had sent for him to aid in a case. And surprisingly enough, he had brought her along. And not once had she whined or complained. It had and still was a wondrous experience. And not to mention the beach. Quite a sight to see. Despite having seen the sea before of course. Though it was sure a beautiful sight in the South.

Not before long, she arrived at the beach, where she usually found herself after a hard days of work. Kicking off her shoes, wiggling her toes in the sand, Tahira plops onto her bottom and gives a hefty sigh. The day hadn't ended and it was still beautiful. The heat was just right. Not overbearing like back home in Alabasta. Though Tanaka Island couldn't compare. The wind blowing gently as the waves brushed up against the sand. Truly a good day, as her eyes rested along the horizon. The sea was so vast and blue. To think she spent most of her days on it, to get here. Never once getting the chance to observe and take in its natural beauty like she did now. Alabasta was a land covered in sand. And her village was far from the sea. Never once had she seen it. Not like this.

The sea air wafted as the breeze passed. Her brunette locks dancing within the warm wind. Adorned in light spring attire. A dress of white and a gold armlet made from her country decorating her left arm; she sits upon a large stone, opening her book. Medical terms, which would seem foreign to another, would read easy to her. It was all amazing, which held that smile and curious gaze the entire time she engrossed herself within each page. Today was a good day to read. Though what would make it truly better. A hand would disappear into her pocket, and upon retrieval would be an orange. Still fresh from Cocoyasi. A delicious treat she never seemed to have enough of. Plus, they were nutritious! What medical enthusiast would pass these up!

Hands delicately and skillfully peeling away the outer shell, before indulging within its sweetness. "Mmmm~"

With each passing step, loose toes would massage the finely grinded gravel. Gust of winds spun a dance with his umber locks. Each inhale would savor the aroma of the sea. A vast essence; the perfume of his elegant mistress; freedom. A stroll along the coast was not an endeavor the young burning avian ordinarily participated in. Nonetheless, there was something at the very abyss of his that compelled him to be here. A grand display. The beauty of such an exquisite seascape. Light sparkles would flash upon the suns beaming reflections. Anguish? When was he ever to feel such emotions as despair. Honestly; why did such an astonishing presentation fill him with an abysmal sadness. Battles amongst the dark blue and lavishing green flow. Oh, majestic elixir; why was he depleted in her robust grasp? Sapped of all vitality, the only concept revered. Was the deal with the sea devil really such a dreadful path? The potential of might that was gifted to him by the forbidden fruit. It was worth it. No question about it.

The beauty. Brunette. Expression of sear bliss and delight. Such happiness was hard to come across. Kaito couldn’t even fathom the previous memory he displayed such emotion. The beast. Brows narrowed to form a displeased arch. A very mundane expression for him. Somber and brooding. Soul filled to the brim with nothing but selfishness and hatred. A fossilized core, the shape of his inclination. Burning rays from his amber oculus pierced her essence. Complete opposites. How come she could be jubilant but he otherwise couldn’t? There was nothing around of merit to ignite such sentiments. Shadow would overcast like a beast that had found its prey. “All smiles huh…” Words uttered from depths of hell. The pinnacle of hated and animosity. The glimpse of her about to indulge in the delicacies of citrus river made him curious. How tasty was that orange really? What maybe should have been a smaller piece turned into the whole produce. Maybe her fruit was the source of her gleam like his was the source of his bitterness. Thus, he would inhale. Expecting magic the umber haired berserker’s face remained sour. Even more so than before. Now just disappointed. How rude of her. She played the power of this orange up to Olympian heights. It was nothing but a mere orange. “That orange was mediocre at best. You shamed my taste buds with its weakness.” Kaito would proceed to cross his arms cast his glare upon her. This one must know his displeasure.

                                                                          x

Perfection always had a way of bouncing back from the shallow trenches. Hoisted by the ever growing waves, the magnificence that was, is, and forever will be, Johnny Beli. Blaze, followed suit to the Mad Dog himself. You see, the blonde hated work more than anything in the world and he hated a few other things. Being broke, as it was their current position, was one of them. Another, was being without a pretty face to talk that smooth perfect talk too. And lastly, it was not being what he truly knew he was - utterly perfect. With that lengthy explanation accounted for, he rose to the occasion, using his plastered noodle of beauty to tie his ship onto Kaito's as he went to roo'ing. Little did Mad Dog know he'd gained another passenger as they sailed the seas! It was the Captain's job to do these sorts of thing, after all. Awakening from his sought slumber with a blank yawn and a rise, eyes of amber behind cool onyx shades eyed the forefront as they came upon a new island. They'd been traveling for quite some time now. Nefetari had gone off to do something; Johnny paid little detail to what she was doing, but none of that currently mattered. You see, his eyes had laid themselves on a ruby beauty. Her gorgeous form a reminder of one Sapphire he used to have an eye for - a gem quite unique indeed.

Her beauty could not be tarnished. Johnny had to speak to her! "Jackpot."

He went out onto the beach, gallantly gallivanting forward with lovely machismo and stunning manly muscle. His shirt open, jacket blowing, and with a stop, he posed to let off a stretch. All eight abdomen packs flexing, glistening, shining. Clearly, he was absolutely amazing. In fact, the Ruby, once laying eyes on him, might go so far as to even say he was. "Perfect. We've found land." Beginning but not to the end, Johnny swerved on through to get a glance at the area before turning around to Kaito, being rude to the young lady he'd laid eyes on. No! He couldn't allow this travesty! Sliding over, he smacked Mad Dog in the back of the head while bowing twice to the young lady. "My apologies Miss! The fool doesn't understand manners!" Turning, he looked to Kaito with a stern glare. "Don't go causin' problems with people! We just got here and I'd rather the marines don't come hawkin' us down when we finally caught a break!" He whispered silently, then went back over to Tahira, smiling. "Sorry, he's a bit dense. We came here lookin' for food and shelter for the evening. We've been travelin' for awhile now. Mind pointing us in its direction Miss. .?" Her name, give it to him so you can marry.

The scent tickled her nose and agitated the taste buds. For she knew this first bite would be wondrous. As if it were her first time tasting such a fruit. Though in fact, it hadn’t. An orange wasn’t something she could easily come across upon the Alabastian land. But in Cocoyasi, it thrived. A large grove filled with such citrus delights. Her first time trying it was overwhelming. Many gave looks of worry and appreciation upon her teary reaction of the taste. A poor upbringing would never allow such pleasures to proceed. But not now. And certainly not on this day. Though the anticipation would cease, as a shadow loomed overhead. Literally. That warmth from the sun would produce a sudden coolness, which was quite unexpected. But lips would pull from the treat in her hand; having yet touched, as eyes lifted upwards. A figure standing just in arm’s length. A true picture of predator vs. prey.

Still she remained, unsure of how to take the situation. Though words would sit on her tongue. Mostly a question directed, but instead a confused and shocked tone. “H-hey!” The orange taken from her hand, before she stands to only watch. Her last orange, engulfed in one go by this stranger. Though he wouldn’t go through the same wave of emotion she had upon her first taste. Nor a smile cracked upon a sour expression. It would remain the same and even more so turn worse, upon her close observation. Why was that? Had it been that bad? “Maybe he isn’t an orange person….” Arms now crossed and a glare directed at her. His opinion stated, which only raised her brow. “Yeah, your definitely not an orange person.” But more would be left for later, seeing as another figure appeared.

The smack heard round’ the world? Probably not that loud, but loud enough, in her opinion. A strange sight to see, but she remained unmoved as these actions were performed before her. Following a couple of bows, an apology would be given from a shirtless man. His abs standing at attention. Glistening and shinning for her to notice. And surely she did. It wasn’t something she usually came across. And quite frankly, she couldn’t recall a time she had come across anything like it. Medical book’s held pictures, though this was the real thing. He definitely would be the perfect subject to aid in her studies. And as she seemed fixated on it, a nice shake off would take place before her focus was back on the event at hand. The rude one with the distaste for oranges. My orange.

“Oh. Um, no. It’s alright….” Stated just after their moment of whispers, which she hadn’t been attentive to notice. A mere glance at the rude one, before she placed her gaze upon Mr. Abs as he began to ask the direction of shelter and food. “There’s a path just over there. Though at the fork, you’ll see a sign leading to town. There’s a Tavern their which travelers usually stay at” It was what she was told and plus, she was staying there too while on Tanaka Island. Bending down, she gathers her book and places her gaze upon both strangers. “I can show you, since I’m headed in that direction. And my name is Tahira.”

But what about the orange wasted? Perhaps compensation should be in order?

One day he would apologize to his companions, poor taste buds. Nobody should have to suffer the agony he put them through. Absolutely barbaric. A glimmering shift in his hue would take heed to her reaction. “An orange…person...” Confusion blended with a dash of curiosity. Fossilized amber would deviate toward his bare chest. Arms would extend out in front of his view to examine those as well. Everything was still the same. The incredibly meticulous display of flavory crafted artistry. Still, elegantly traversed from his cleaving forearms without rest until it rested upon the agglomerate proportions that was his chest. What ever could she mean? Orange person. A subaqueous breath followed suit. Taking a hasteful glance at his arm again. The inked tattoo was not his main focus. Underneath the illustration was its canvas. Carmel like skin would mirror the gleaming beams of the sunlight. Eyebrows arched inward toward his fallen stare. “You hating on me because I’m dark skinned?” Many things he had been called. Never an orange person. So all dark skinned niggas loved oranges huh? Just because he didn’t eat the awful produce he wasn’t a real one? The nerve of this woman.

Neck would whisk as his cranium was knocked forward. Johnny decided to strike the pirate in the back of the head. Manner he says. Kaito wasn’t the one that was looking at the pigment of her vessel. The captain would respond to Johnny’s stern glare with something stern of his own. An insult. Right down the middle. Read between the lines. However, he did have a point about the marines coming to the aid of a damsel. There were so many thirsty individuals at sea. They were trying to prepare for their next raid. Incognito was a solid strategy at this very moment. Arms encase one another. Now that Johnny mentioned it. Kaito could really go for something pungent and zest. Preferably something lightly seared so the charred substance would not go to waste. Chestnut roasted strands would be brushed behind his head. Placid, serene; this was the stance he would showcase. Seeing her gather up her book Kaito could not make out the gibberish. It was clear she was warrior of the mind. Maybe the beast was a bit abrupt in judging her. “Well Tahira, I’m Kaito.” Approaching their guide, he would respectfully seize her belonging. Top priority were the books. Information that he didn’t know about, this intrigued him. This may have appeared to be an act of chivalry but this act was an entire selfish approach. “Lead the way then.” Maybe she would be useful. Only time will tell. Right now, he would follow her lead.

                                                                          x

Yes, she didn't have a choice but to give her name. Of course, not only her name, her everything, to what stood before her. Currently his brilliance shimmered, shined, and outright blossomed before the two - they'd pay no mind yet. Graciously he'd let them bask, even if he yet didn't understand just how much of this abundance of light was shining to the crowd. His presence was a present and so they should feel greatly gifted. Upon her words, Johnny nodded thrice in agreeance, grabbing his small bag of things he usually carried with him along as the woman began to guide them to town, staying close by all the while. Eyes scanning the drop for any people and going over to scan the woman they'd come to know as Tahira. "Tahira? A lovely name for a lovely lady." He'd begin, tipping his hat with the brim sticking out and letting loose a brilliant smile for her to see. A mouth of white and pearled teeth, glowing in the ray of the later afternoon sun. The antics of Kaito were amiss to him currently; he'd let him do as he pleased while trying to put the squeeze on the gem right in front of him. Ruby was his mothers birthstone, after all~ It was fitting a rare gem gave itself to one so deserving.

He'd have to lay on the sweetness in the most perfect way.

"I'm Johnny. It's a pleasure to meet you." He'd begin as he continued to stroll, body towering a few feet above the two of them. In fact, he was a few feet above most doors they passed for normal human height. The folk of the town stared at the duo behind their local, watching wide eyed and in awe. Seemed like they didn't get visitors too often. Especially ones built like the two of them. One, a mass of muscle, dark hair, glowing almost yellow eyes, and a dragon tattoo lighting his form. The other, hair of gold, over seven feet tall, a gorgeous brawn of shimmering machismo. Their entrance was far more than anything these town folk had seen. Of course, they'd just been blessed without even knowing it. "So Miss, since you've been our guide thus far, how about staying for awhile and helping us out? We kind o- " He stopped, almost instantly, sliding behind a nearby building and grabbing Tahira up with him. Kaito would see it too. A marine group passing by with a board of recent wanted posters and guess who was the main event? "God damn it. I was hoping we could find somewhere where they hadn't plastered our face yet!"

Without consent! Without remorse! Perfectly, he ran! Grabbing Tahira up and taking to the hills! "Book it, Kaito! We gotta get outta here!" Back towards the sea they began to run.

The subject of the orange would twist into something clearly unrelated. Confusion swirling amongst the two. Things surely went left field, though only time would make this situation clear. The actions of the blonde, would cease the issue for now. The subject shifting. Tahira would become a guide and lead them towards the Tavern. Names would be exchanged and thoughts would take a turn for the better as well. The rude one, who’s form she had only recently placed notice on; upon the inspection of his skin, would take hold of her book. An unexpected kind gesture, which made her think twice. Perhaps he held some generosity within him. Bare chested as well, with a dragon tattoo decorating his arm. Kaito. And the other, golden locks, with a bright white smile which seemed to shine like the sun. Odd, but even from here she could see that they were perfect. “They both appear to be healthy. From the outside anyway….” A doctor’s opinion.

A compliment given, along with a tip of his hat, which instinctively would produce a smile of her own. “Oh, thank you…” Even a small tint of red would grace her light brown cheeks. It wasn’t often her ears heard such. Though not like back home. A dancer with much skill received praise from many. Though a few would lay on the lustful gaze’s. Their eyes speaking of the disgusting acts to place upon a girl so young. Memories would flash, though quickly she would shake them off. This wasn’t that time. And as of now, she didn’t see that within these two. Especially not the rude orange thief Kaito. Nor Mr. Shiny Abs, Johnny. She felt no ill will from them, so no judgment was placed. Despite the fact that judgement was hardly a factor given her profession. Tahira felt the need to aid those who couldn’t help themselves, despite who they were. Or what they were. If she could cure it, she’d place her all into it.

With her thoughts elsewhere, she hadn’t noticed the stares given. Mostly upon the duo along with her. One towering quite high. Higher than most normal sized entrances. Both bare chested and chiseled. Usually a woman’s dream. To touch and feel such muscles. What woman wouldn’t be attracted by one who could lift them with ease. But currently, that wasn’t on the doctor’s mind. Though upon hearing Johnny call out to her, her attention would be grasped and a gaze shifted. He spoke about she helping them out, but his next sentence would be cut short and before she knew it, she had been grabbed and moved behind a nearby building. “Eh?” Confusion on arise, she eyed Johnny and Kaito, who seemed to be startled with something further ahead. “Why are we hiding?” What she overheard next wasn’t an answer. Though more so a slight explanation, but still left her muddled. And still it would, for instead of an explanation, she would be carried off. Back down the path in which they came. “Alright, just what is going on!” A slight fire rising within her tone as she eyed the hat wearing blonde.

Nein! He didn't stop running! Not from her scream! Not from the lack of knowing Kaito's location! Not from anything of the sort! Johnny's pace never slowed for a moment, only coming to semi speed once getting over a hill in the distance. Hand gripping his hat, jacket flowing in the wind, and body charismatic-ally jugging forward in an almost cartoonish appearance. The sprint was something akin to a bad guy having been beaten and running off to cry home to momma, but! It was done perfectly, so that wasn't the case at all. Just a little farther, then the half finally came with a slide, placing Tahira down beside him while looking around the corner. The coast was clear. . at least, it was for now. Wiping some sweat from his brow, Johnny took out a small black book from his jacket innard and, after licking a pen, began to scribble something. "Note to self - never believe that you're safe, even when you are. There is danger waiting around every corner." Written in a haiku like fashion, he placed it back from wince it came before looking directly at Tahira, rubbing the back of his head while awkwardly smiling. A-Ah yes, he did kind of just kidnap her, but. .

It was for her own good! Bad things could've happened had she been left alone! Perfectly, he snapped his fingers, before beginning to tell the tale of what lead him here.

"You see. . My friend and I, along with a few others, sort've needed some money. ." Well, that was all true, though it wasn't like he'd tried to get a job or anything. Labor like that was for fools! ". .We took to a nearby job offered to us from a generous benefactor, got him what he asked for and was paid handsomely-" Not as handsome as Johnny, it might be noted. "- for it. Cept'. . it might've gotten us in a wee bit of trouble. ." Looking away at the last part, he coughed to himself before grinning from ear to ear; like a kid dodging trouble. "Now we've gotten ourselves branded as pirates and, well. . uhh. . how can I put this exactly?" There was no way to hide the truth. It was there and he was sure she'd already figured out from clues of his story what had transpired. "Since then, they've been chasing us around every time we stop somewhere. All we've wanted is food and a place to relax, but they're almost always there! It's nerve racking not being able to lie your head down without some guy in white yelling how you're under arrest! I haven't eaten a decent meal in months!" You could see the stress evident on his completely manly and utterly gorgeous face.

". . Please. . don't turn me in. . I'm just a guy who wants to drink some booze and spend my days with a beautiful woman. . A simple man with a simple dream. If only. . I had that option now. ." Looking to her, he slowly took his glasses off while placing a soft hand on her chin, gazing into her eyes with bright amber hues of mystery and machismo. ". . You know. . Tahira, you're just the kind of beautiful woman a man could ask for. . If I married you, I'd have needed no other. I'd dream not of another. . ." Then his stomach began rumbling. Loud, angry. Good, strong growl. Johnny looked down, then back up, before sighing. "I'm really. . hungry. . "

The screaming had ceased, and only disbelief enveloped her as Johnny continued to run. Had she thought too well of the duo? Was this the time to actually be judgmental? Countless questions arose, before his sprint to wherever finally came to its end. Safely placed down, her hands would rest upon her hips, as she eyed him. Nothing but pure anger and irritation laced her blue orbs, as she awaited patiently for an explanation. It clearly wasn’t the time to be patient, but she found it in herself to be. And once he finally noticed, his explanation would begin. “So?”

It wouldn’t be until she noted his stressed expression. The honesty in that look alone, would make her own begin to diminish. His tale, it had been quite similar to her own. An event which would lead to her being on the run and fleeing her homeland. Sympathy coursed through her, as hands which had held tightly to her hips, grew lax and rested now at her sides. Her eyes would shift to those holding empathy. Another had shared the same fate as her, which only now would arise alert. She herself could have been in danger! It was only in her thoughts that her troubles only lied within the sand kingdom. Never would she have known or even fathomed that they would lead out this far into the world. Would they really come this far for her?

Her head would tilt downward a bit, her look shadowed from his own. His plea would reach her thoughts, before a hand gently rested under her chin. A gaze raised to meet his own. Amber hues shinning as he let forth a compassionate confession. Purely a perfect intimate scene filled with anticipation. Though the sound of a very hungry man would ruin it of course. But it would only produce a giggle from the young woman, as she gently removed her chin from his grasp and spun around with her back towards him. Hands wrapped around her waist. “Don’t worry, I won’t do anything of the sort. Surprisingly it seems like we’re in the same boat." The being chased and hunted part. "Though it wasn’t until now that I realized I could have been in danger myself” Her tone grew slightly cautious, due to the realization. But she shook it off before turning around and giving him a warm smile. The armlet; pure Alabastian gold would shimmer in the dimming afternoon light, as she began. “But let’s get you something to eat. Before you completely lose your mind” His sudden spurt of wishes and confession of wanting to marry, in her mind were nothing more than a lack of nutrition to the brain. He did mention of not eating a decent meal in months after all. Prolonging could eventually have an effect.

If he had wished to know of her own tale, she would gladly share, if asked. Though for now, she loosened her arms from around herself and placed them on her hips. Her eyes would glance around, trying to figure out where he had managed to run them off to. Though it wouldn’t be til then that she actually noticed. Where’s the orange thief? “Kaito…..isn’t here” Had Johnny been that fast for him to lose his way? Or worse! Could he have been caught! “He’ll be alright won’t he?” Worry for his fellow companion cascaded over her, as she peered at the shiftless blonde.

Evening was just along the horizon, and shelter would need to be acquired soon. Not to mention food. But this far out, Tahira had no clue on where to go nor look. Though her gaze would notice the landscape. The forest on one side, and then what looked to be a mountainous structure on the other. Something nagged at the back of her mind, as she eyed it. As if she knew some information on it. Something leading upon the lines of caution. It wouldn’t come to her, now. Though perhaps later. Aside from that, a shack of sorts would be noticed in the distance. Perhaps it would do for the time being. Maybe it would even have something to eat inside? “We could try there” A rise and point of her finger would lead the way. Unless Johnny had a better plan.

The dark was slowing setting over the horizon. Baited in angst, cupped with a light tipped gesture between honest confusion; his eyes sauntered to the orange mixed sky. For a moment he was lost in his own thoughts, not paying much mind to Tahira. "Nefetari hasn't returned as of yet either. This is starting to become troublesome." The young lady was supposed to be back by now - perhaps she'd run into a spurt of trouble when splitting from them? For a moment and only a moment, he worried, until her words finally took his attention. From high horse, Johnny rode down, shaking his head. If he had been fine this entire time, she too would be alright. "The God of the Sea wouldn't allow such a beautiful gem to be tarnished by anyone. I'm sure no matter what, you'd have been fine, my dear Tahira." Loosely, with pure chivalrous vigor and knight like tenacity. Every moment, in every way, had been perfect for him in terms of speaking. She'd swoon and fall; it was only a matter of time and he'd make sure of it. Though his face did turn quizzical when he heard her mention Kaito, with Johnny giving a blank expression thereafter. Why in the world was she worried about him of all people?

"Kaito? Ha. He's the last person I'd worry about. He's immortal after all." Saying that in a very plain way, as if it were a simple matter of fact, would probably insight confusion inside his opposite, but nonetheless he pegged on.

With being pointed to the shack in the distance, he hoisted his things on up onto his back before beginning to head off. Walking at a pace for her to keep up with him - not too fast. Not too slow. "I see your plan. Get me all alone in a shack to get us some dinner, huh? I like where your mind is." Sneer in jest, then a soft laugh to himself before continuing with idle conversation. "What did you do then. . to have people chasing after you? Obviously it wasn't legal, or you wouldn't be on the run." She didn't seem like the evil type. Of course, it wasn't like he knew her all too well either, it was just. . he didn't know exactly what to make of what she'd told him thus far. With the shed fast approaching, Johnny was all ears to her explanation and very thought filled on the evening they'd be spending together. . Alone~

Had she heard right? Kaito, immortal? The only time she had heard such was back home. Stories the elders would spin for the young of days of old. Of kings and Gods. Could the stories really be true? Perhaps further investigation was in order. Though for now, the two would tread forward towards the shack. His comment about shelter and food would only make her smile. In her mind, she believed him to only be excited about finally having that meal and place to rest his head. Even if it was for a while. But shelter and nourishment wouldn’t be the only thing within Johnny’s mind.

The reason why she herself was on the run. He would ask, curiosity reigning. Her gaze would rest within the distance, as her mind rested on a place to begin her tale. “Well….” Her story would begin within her village, in her home of Alabasta. A land filled with sand. Medical supplies were low and many were growing sicker by the day. A few villagers along with herself would journey into the busy city to earn money and procure medical aids. “Some sold handcrafted jewelry, while others and myself entertained within the market” And by entertain, she meant dancing. While music played, Tahira danced. A dance and song which told numerous tales of old. A dance learned when she was young and knew like the back of her hand. Her skills grasped countless gazes and one in particular, which would start all current problems. “A wealthy merchant oversaw my performance and requested me and my friends to perform at a gathering. And of course would be paid” It would a gig that would earn them more than enough to provide back home. And so, they did. “But things went south afterwards” The merchant would get handsy and then take a bracelet she wore and had since young, claiming it was his. Claiming her a thief if she didn’t become his and dance for him privately. “He went back on his word, I took back my belongings and the money owed and ran. Though not before kicking him” A nice swift kick to his family jewels.

“My village was able to use the earning for supplies, though word about what had happened to the Merchant ran like fire. They came to my village and threatened to harm, if I didn’t show myself. I did, but managed to escape and flee.” Upon a ship which was heading elsewhere. She knew not of where it was headed, but all that mattered was that her village was safe. And she was far away from danger. “Though I was hoping no one would come this far…..for me” Oh well.

The shack would be reached and a hand would be placed on the door. Opening it, there appeared to be no one inside, though there were boxes and barrels, which seemed to be filled with food. Had this been a small store house? How lucky. Lighting a lamp seen close by the door, Tahira would light it, so as the duo wouldn’t be sitting in the dark at nightfall.

Elegance and beauty would arrive hand in hand on Tanaka Island. They arrived in the form of a man. Hair as white as snow and skin smooth and silky while holding a beautiful bronze color. His eyes, viridescent and gleaming like emeralds in the light, would scan the area as he stepped out of his boat and on to the beach. "There are few people here... Suppose this is a good enough place to get my bearings and try to find those two..." A beautiful white mane would be comb behind his ear by slender fingers as he would look about the beached area.
Several other ships were anchored nearby. Some holding a jolly roger. He was not the only pirate hiding out here which could either be a good thing or a bad thing. Pirates were always a tricky sort and came in all shapes and sizes which made it difficult to tell what he could and couldn't get away with. Plans and preparations were out the window when dealing with the chaos of swashbuckling buccaneer.
Nefertari would tread lightly as he would push forward onto the island. A camp would need to be set so he had some place to comfortably gather his thoughts. Reaching the forest line revealed a cave in the side of a mountain. This would do. He would inspect it for any signs of life, not wanting to intrude upon someone or something else's space. Empty. No signs of visitation to this abandoned cave. Good! Firewood would be gathered and a fire would be made deep in the cave. Nefertari would sit down and stare at the flames as he would try to think.
He needed to find the rest of his crew but had no idea where they could be. He left to go handle some personal affairs and made a slight unprecedented detour to an unknown island that still clouded his mind every time he tried to remember specifics of it. Whatever. No need to dwell on irrelevant matters. He needed food. Hopping up the white haired male would exit the cave, find himself a good poking stick and would wait at the side of a river. Maybe he could catch a fish! No he'd never done it before but there's a first time for everything! An hour and 45 minutes would be spent failing to secure a fish. It. Was. Awful.

Kasiun sailed up to Tanaka Island in his lone man boat. The wolf was on a sort of mission, his first mission as a marine in fact. He was coming here to hunt pirates. Slightly familiar territory brought back memories of his family...before the man had taken him in and trained him. He was different from back then. That was months ago. Although he did wonder how his family was doing. Perhaps he would actually visit them at a later point in time. For the time being he was on duty. One of the marines had fashioned his regulation badge onto the sheath of the sword Kasiun wore at his side. His fur was as usual rather bushy around the neck and what would be chest area, as well as his tail but sleek everywhere else. He stepped off his boat and onto the sand of the island observing for a moment before keeping note. The beach was likely not a good hiding place. Something he learned from being a wolf was that usually when something was being hunted they hid in less obvious and open areas. Obviously this meant the jungle was likely where Kasiun would find any pirates.

Kasiun would slowly make his way into the jungle finding his way through trees. He looked around, searching almost for what he intended on finding. Seeing plenty of the typical prey animals instincts to hide from him encompass them when he even remotely looked their way as he practically stalked through the jungle. Searching for pirates, some face he would recognize from the posters that he had seen before. Sniffing the air, the ground, looking for tracks that did not belong to that of an animal, just about anything for the time being. Until finally he found something. A person who seemed to be poking into the river. What was he doing? Now that he thought about it Kasiun realized this was a lot like how he was showed to fish except he would be using his paws and swiping out of the water.

Kasiun looked from a distance, quietly moving along through brushes and other plant life. Keeping his eyes glued to the human person nearby the river. When he had realized it, this was someone he was after. He had surely not been able to read a poster just yet, but he recognized the face of this person. He had to be a pirate from one of those posters. One of those people that others with his new job hunted down and threw in as the man who he was alongside called, 'jail.' Kasiun's head moved to the side, his mouth opening and gripping the hilt of the katana at his side. Slowly he removed the blade from it's sheath, making sure to make as little sound as he could. The blade finally fully out of the sheath and held by the hilt in Kasiun's mouth, he was ready to go on the attack. He wasn't sure if this man noticed him yet however Kasiun would make his move fairly soon. Leaping out of the bushes that hid his form almost as if to pounce on the man, however Kasiun's goal was not to land on this person, but to cut him. His head moving in a way where the blade in his mouth would attempt to hit it's mark on the humanoid's body. Kasiun hadn't aimed for anything specific, he was simply aiming to swing the blade into the body of the male.

He'd watch. He'd listen. He'd learn. Her story wasn't unlike his own. Of course the shady and dark were merchants of deceit, no matter where you take your look. Johnny could only nod with a disgruntled face, feeling his heart go out to her no matter the distance - he too now knew the pressure that went into being on the run and when the going got tough, who were you to rely on besides yourself? Lucky for him, he'd found people that could watch his back just as he'd watch there's. Head lowing, his voice broke a minute silence that come between them as their steps took the duo closer to their impending destination. Flippantly, he began. "You're the same as me then." Of course, it was meant in a way that she wasn't as perfectly perfect; at least, not yet. That'd come in time and with him sharing his essence of pure beauty. "It's tiring, ya' know? Always on the lamb, keeping yourself hidden because people wanna ruin your day." There wasn't any other way to say it. So, that's it, I'm calling it and so would Johnny. For the first time in a long time he let loose a sigh - long, exasperated. "I guess I just couldn't hit the jackpot this go round', huh?" It was inwardly, but either way you could see it on his amazingly, beautiful and handsome face. He was just one man, blessed with perfection. Damn the world for not having anyone else like him.

And so, they entered. The blonde ducked his head down as he came through, looking around to see all kinds of food about the place. This would work.

"Are you sure we can take this? It might belong to so-" GRRRRR! The sound of his stomach broke his speech and an eyebrow raised, no longer caring whatsoever. Grabbing to large chunks of bread, he stuffed them in his mouth before, slamming a hand on his chest to help take it down. Yes. Yes. This would do indeed! Now, if only there was some tea . . But he'd get beside himself on that. For the time being, his body turned to Tahira, taking a seat on a nearby mat while laying his katana down next to him. Off came his rather large jacket and the hat as well. Only those cool black shades hiding ambient eyes lay cloaked in mystery. "You've been good to me, Ruby. . . Do you like this place in the middle of the sea? Where few venture?". He'd begin, watching her like a hawk. Waiting." . And since you are stuck here, what do you do?" He wondered.
