Kasiun would arrive in Centaurea with the package he was designated to deliver to a certain church altar. The dog would quickly make his way off his boat and to the direction of the drop off location. Eventually finding the church he would walk up to it. Looking around it seemed a bit weird that no one was in this specific church. Not even typical mercenaries around this area. Placing the package on the altar Kasiun would turn away and head to his boat to go back to HQ.

Kasiun would arrive back in Centaurea once more. It seemed like most of the pirates from the supposed attack had already left. The most he could find from it was a single pirate that apparently was harassing some weaker than them mercenaries. Kasiun didn't care much for that, for the time being he had a job to do. Kasiun would remove his blade from it's sheath and then go into a rush towards the pirate. Quickly his blade seemed to cut clean through the pirate as Kasiun slashed at him. Kasiun paused for a moment. Swinging his blade to clean the blood from it and then placing the blade back into it's sheath before heading back to his boat. His mission was pretty much done.

Ben "Big Band" Berson
Str: 50 // End: 35 // Spd: 35 // // Acc: 40 // Int: 40

Centaurea once a place filled with life and unity was now a desolated wasteland where mercenaries stayed. The place had changed a lot over the years much like he had, guess that was just life. At least the way he adapted to the unexpected had made him a cesspool of crime and villainy. Nah that was a way too black and white view of mercenaries. They were after all just people who would do jobs for many their reason for such things may have a just or unjust reason. That was what he was here to judge. Or at least see that the mercenaries weren't bothering any locals who still took refugee in the old walls of the kingdom. When things had gone south not everyone had the opportunity to leave, only the rich or those with connections. The fear and panic of running through the minds of the people of Centaurea it most have been immense. This this angered him greatly. The World Government could have helped but it was more busy keeping it's image safe rather than protecting those they had promised to protect. That's when you know there is a problem. That was enough of reminiscing of past events he finally reached the shore of the island. There was no longer any ports for ships whatever had been left were destroyed in the many battles of this kingdom. So Ben had decided to simply hold down his boat with an anchor it was a rather small boat he was surprised it could hold the combined weight of him and the anchor. Pushing over the anchor he stepped off the boat and headed up the hill to the town. The sound of metal hitting sand always made a fancy beat along with the grass and rock every sound had great beat to it. Reaching the top of the island Ben had a good look at the gates of the kingdom. Yes it was still functioning the people of the town must have kept some maintenance on it probably to send someone out for supplies for their town. In many ways the mercenaries saved the town when the world government chose not to. They probably didn't do it out of their kindness of theirs but still helping the people in the town was an act of good and shouldn't be ignored just because of who they were. The small activity and trading the mercenaries did helped keep the people in the town alive while their situation hasn't gotten any better beyond that some help is better than none. Pushing the gate open the view was not as bad as one would think. Every building seemed to be functioning and had someone living in it, evident with lights in shining through the window. Other spots had only broken down rubble they may have torn down buildings they weren't using to repair their own. A few people came out from their home to watch the 7'7 man in a trench coat walking around town. Fear ran the streets they weren't sure who he was and being so big only made them fear him more. That was fine he never expected people to welcome him with open arms, people always feared what they didn't know. To most it would look like he was walking around aimlessly but no every step had a purpose. Surveying the area was a great way to ensure there were no unexpected landmarks people could use against you. Who would use it against you might ask. Well he had gotten a few tips from people he knew that there was going to be a raid on this town. It was not a reliable source but if there was a chance then who was he to say they should ignore it....he should ignore it. There was no longer they was there. There would be a soft crunch of a tree branch cracking under his weight as he sat down. Pulling out saxophone he started to beautifully play music that could be heard all over town. People had realized he wasn't no going to do anything and had stopped watching him but oh did the music bring them all together. A few kids started running around playing and sat peacefully to listen to him. Even a few adults listened in trying to show that they weren't so easily entertained like the children. But Ben knew that music was for all ages and races. When he was done a few of them clapped as they went back on with their day. All there was left to do was wait until something happened.

Darkness would soon envelope the sky. Had he arrived at the Centaurea during the afternoon? No he had arrived in the middle of the day but no one had appeared. Being a cyborg had it's perk he didn't feel tired even if he had been always for the past 24 hours. Then it started. The people sneaking in were trying to be as quiet as they could be but no matter what they did they couldn't silent the beat of their heart. Standing up he headed over to the ground, Ben knew it wasnt going to be easy but if something was easy it was probably not rewarding. Ten hearts beating their own beat he had to continue listening to them making sure that they were indeed the criminals who came to raid the place. The sound of someone breaking a door was enough for him to know that they were those raiders. Ben took action as the sounds of people screaming 'thief' as their items were taken away by the thieves. As the man with a bagged on his back, presumably holding all the stolen goods, came out a punch would knock him in to some rubble. The air catching his coat and flying up revealing that Ben was no ordinary man. Along side his mechicnal fist, that softly played some tunes when he sung, most of his body was mechanical. The bag must have slipped from the man's shoulder and was left in the front of the door as the happy couple living in the home picked up and brought it back inside. The woman smiled happily tears in her eyes. "Than...thank you so much" They most have taken a family heirloom a soft smile appeared on Ben's face. "Don't worry about it. It's just what I do" He didn't need to have a job as a marine to help out people in need. While he had been talking to the woman, who had entered home after thanking him, one of the raiders noticed he hadn't knocked out one of their comrades and had called for help from everyone else. Before the other eight members would reach their in time the one who called for help would be knocked out as well. Ben had finished putting them next to each other when the group yelled and charged at him. "What a foolish thing to do" Ben would say they were all clearly young charging at someone head strong was always a foolish thing to do. At this point there had been a crowd of people waking up to the yelling seeing what was happening. Everyone gasped when Ben suddenly turned his back to them, believing he had given up. Pulling out a his saxophone a soft tone would ring through the air and seemingly from nothing the men started to fall down. They weren't in pain or anything as they tried to repeatedly stand back up only to trip on themselves and fall back down. It was quite funny to see as all the townspeople who were awake were laughing nonstop. Soon the men tired themselves out and the villagers would come in to tie them all up, Ben was no longer playing his saxophone. He didn't need the townspeople to be falling over as well. Walking over to one of them he looked down at them before asking. "Who organized this?" They would all stay quiet. The townspeople would mutter a few things they were all wondering who this mysterious musician was. He knew getting answers wasn't going to be easy. "Have you wondered what ten thousand pounds of weight can do to someone's leg?" Ben would take a few steps forward before placing his foot on someone slowly adding weight as the man started to scream in pain quickly his rebellion nature was removed and he moved his foot away. In fact just from that display all the men had given up they all started to give out information in some that he didn't need. Such as one of them saying they always wanted to be female. Even the townsfolk became a little afraid of Ben however he did what he had to. He wouldn't kill the guy but pain was fair game to him. "Answer the question" Ben inched forward they all quiet down before answering what he had asked to began with. "Gryax the mercenary who lives down outside of here." "He wanted the villagers to think they needed him for help" "He likes to drink seawater" Most of the information he was getting would be very useful for him except the last one. Again these people were acting like idiots. Looking back at the townspeople he noticed the look of anger on their face. Clearly this Gryax character must have a been an ally of theirs for them to look so betrayed by his deception. In fact some of them started to walk towards the tied up raiders with a look that meant only trouble would happen. Even the dim witted raiders had realized that but before the townspeople could do anything Ben stood in front of them. "Hold there for a moment no matter what they done to you. They are tied up and can't do harm. Ain't no reason to become like them" Ben would say as the townspeople backed down. Either because his words rung true or simply they knew they couldn't deal with him. Whatever it was, the raiders looked happy that they weren't about to be killed. They may have been criminals but even they deserve some form of justice and murder was not justice it was vengeance.

"One of you stand up" Ben ordered as one did he motioned the man to follow him. Walking up ahead he looked at the guy before saying. "Lead me to where you guys were suppose to give him the stolen goods" Ben looked at the man in the face trying to see if he would lie or was plotting something. The guy looked willing to listen as long as he wasn't harmed at all during it. "Can't promise that. I have no control over the other mercenaries they might try to harm you for betraying them" Ben would admit the guy looked frighten at the concept but he continued to lead him out of the town and outside the walls. Just outside the walls was a rather large 10ft tall man waiting for the raiders to come back and give them the goods. To his surprise only one came back and with some stranger that he didn't even know. "Max who in the world is this guy?!" The half giant demanded angry clearly since he didn't see any loot. Before the goon could reply Ben himself would talk to Max and give him a piece of his mind. "Name is Ben. I took out you boys and have come to take out you. Nothing personal just can't let you being harming these here townsfolk" Ben looked up at the man clearly not intimidated by his stature. There will always be those bigger than you it's always up to you to bring them down a notch or two. Gryax laughed for a few seconds before swinging at Ben. It was obvious that the fight had begun after he said he would take him down. A cymbal came out from his body blocking the punch. A loud ding would ring in the air as most of the force of that punch was turned in to sound and some was sent back to to him. He stumbled back holding his hand as Ben smiled. "Now for my punch" Ben planted his feet firmly in the ground before launching towards him giving him a punch in the gut into the wall. The wall crumbled from the weight of the Gryax, the force of Ben's punch, and probably the wear and tear of the war that happened a while back. The raider that had followed him had long run, it didn't matter the man was just a small timer right now he had to deal with a bigger fish. Ben went into the hole and found himself back in to the town. He had to be careful he didn't need the man falling down and breaking any homes. Gryax was infuriated as he stood back up. Looking around he grabbed a log from the degree and started to swing at Ben. Blocking every swing with a cymbal he found himself being pushed back in to some houses. He needed to take the offensive before the man destroyed people's homes, however he was too late when he dodged one of the swings part of his log hit the top of the house and destroyed the roof. Gryax didn't seem to care. Two houses was enough destruction for Ben to decide to go all out. Gryax would have a lot of broken bones from this but he asked for it when bringing in civilians to a fight. Ben's body transformed into what looked like a large tuba. "Time for my final encore" Ben muttered before blowing into the mouth piece of the tuba. Standing still a sudden burst of power shot him fast into Gryax's stomach. He had tried to bat him away like a baseball but the log snapped and he took a direct blow sending him flying through the hole he made before. As Ben's body transformed back to normal he walked over to see if the man was still in one piece. He seemed fine he was badly injured but he would survive, at least he looked like he would. Ben was no doctor.

Cass had reached the island in seemingly record time, quickly scanning the area, there weren't any other marines here, not yet anyway. It was his time to shine, time to beat some baddies and take his fame. He rushed into the town, it wasn't as damaged as he would have expected at first. Then he had caught glimpse of it, a large man standing over an injured person, he rushed over to the scene, taking a battle stance "Cassius Finwind of the Marines, stop what you're doing at once!" he shouted at the man, sure he was rushing into things, but the scene was obivous...wasn't it?

Ben looked at the fishman who would suddenly appear and took a battle stance at him. Ben had been paying too much attention to the fight with the half-giant he hadn't heard the footsteps of the marine coming towards him. "Cassius. I have heard that name before. You seem to be looking for a fight. Sorry but I simply don't care to fight a marine. You can however take in this mercenary who had attacked the town" The shark fishman seemed to be fairly big he could be a problem if he so decided to attack him. However he had no interest in fighting him. He was a pirate wasn't he if the man recognized him or knew he was wanted that could be a problem however he would look at the bigger picture at hand. They had an alarm system and while he could only see one marine there was more to come if he stayed here. So if it came to it he would need to get the fishman off his trail but it was quite possible that he might try to destroy his ship. Normally he wouldn't want to fight a marine but if he was forced to deal with him he would.

Cass had gotten the call, and he got here first, he wasn't about to let the only shred of evidence he had, walk away. "What I see is what I see. You're standing over an injured man, with destruction behind you. I got called in for the destruction, and I mean to take in the man responsible." he said, a man approached Cassius, meaning to explain the situation in its entirety to him. Cassius punched the man, knocking him out, and out of the way "Don't step to me, any aiding a man responsible for the destruction shall also be held accountable." he said. Turning his attention back to the man, he once more gave him words "You have a choice here, come quietly, or fight me and give the others time to catch up" he said, referring to the marines who were most likely, also going to reply to the call.

Kasiun would row into Centaurea, a place he had been before on an underwhelming mission. The wolf hopped off his boat and then began to quickly move in search of the described culprit. Kasiun searched for a bit before he found what he was looking for. Walking around the area until he saw it, a half giant on the ground, a few destroyed buildings, a large man in a trench coat, fitting the description of the raid suspect, and a fishman, shark to be specific, who seemed to be ready to fight. The Wolf looked around, observing the situation before deciding to approach this without immediately fighting. "I am Lieutenant Kasiun, of the marines." The wolf began to speak, loud enough for the two who were not unconscious to hear. "Would someone explain to me the situation?"

Ben had no intention to stick around to have more marines to deal with. He knew what the situation looked like he didn't need a the shark man to tell him but he also knew they would put him in jail one way or another. The thing was would he be able to lose the man in the town. It was possible but not very likely but he had to hurry one way or another. Suddenly the sound of someone walking towards the fishman only to hear the sound of someone hitting rubble made Ben turn around. Hearing what the fishman said about anyone aiding a criminal would be held accountable. A frown appeared on his face as he turned to glare at the man. "Marines with no sense of protection over he public shouldn't even be in the navy. So what if he helped a criminal that shouldn't make him a criminal" Ben would say stepping towards the fishman before turning and heading over to the man he had knocked out. The soft beat of a heart made some relief wash over him the man hadn't been killed by the blow. Turning to look at the fishman he smiled. "Look here. I have no interest in knocking some sense in to you. If you want to know what had happen ask the people of this town." Suddenly another...marine would show up? It was a dog that could talk and was saying he was a marine and a lieutenant at that. The navy had changed a lot since he was gone but still he knew they wouldn't allow any normal wolf to join. He would have to be careful with him as well. Except the townspeople would swarm the wolf deciding they wouldn't let another marine try to fight Ben. However they did try to explain to him what had happen. Saying how some mercenaries had attacked their town and that the musician had protected them.

Cass lowered his hands, taking a deep breath as another marine had arrived to the scene, asking for an explanation "The situation is simple." he said, not trying to kill anymore of his time. "I arrived to see this man standing over an injured man, as you can see." he said, gesturing to the scene "not to mention the destroyed bits behind him, right there." he added. He picked his fists back up "However, as I arrived, i asked this man to surrender, and one of his thugs attacked me!" he said, gesturing to the man who came at Cassius "We have no reason to believe what any of these people say, they could be working for him" he said, looking to the new marine. He lowered his hands and shrugged, walking away "Guess I did my job Lieutenant, I'm only a Choreboy so, you should probably take this one." he added, before walking back towards his ship.

Kasiun stood for a moment, it seemed something happened even after the situation the alarm mentioned. The large man in a trench coat was walking up to the shark man. Kasiun was going to step forwards, but suddenly he was surrounded by a large group of the townspeople. They began to explain to Kasiun the situation at hand, the man in the trench coat was helping them out. The situation all for the most part explain, even the part about the shark whom had hit one of the people who walked up to him to the ground. Kasiun looked among the group, and then through openings in the group's swarm towards who he now understood to be a marine fishman, and the large man in a trench coat. Kasiun sighed, and then looked towards the townspeople. He didn't look aggressive or anything, and it wasn't like he had looked like he was going to immediately jump into a fight in the first place. "I understand the situation now, however I still have a job to do."

With that Kasiun would begin walking, the townspeople spreading away from him allowing him to move forwards to the large man in the trench coat. Stopping as the fellow Marine began to explain the situation at hand from his own point of view. Kasiun wasn't a genius, but he was at least smart enough to realize what exactly was going on. Kasiun looked towards the marine and nodded. Then turning his head towards the large man in the trench coat. Kasiun would speak to him. "I'm sure you understand, whether what these people say is true or not you have still taken part in a crime. I would much rather this all be done willingly on your part as to avoid any further conflict of interest. So you have two options, come to headquarters willingly now with me and this fellow here to serve your jail time, and have the crime at hand pardoned...or resist and solidify your stand as a criminal." Kasiun glared at he spoke, he seemed very serious about this at the moment. It was his job after all.

Ben frowned he truly hated this type of marine who just lied about the man he hadn't knocked out simply because he tried to explain things to him. That alone deserved a good whack to the head but he didn't have time for that's. his escape chances were getting slimmer by the second if marines kept appearing one after another. "Get this man some help" He would tell the civilians who let the dog pass they quickly picked up the man and went away from the scene. Like animals they sense the impending danger of this scene. When the when the wolfs said what he had expected him to say from the beginning he shook his head. "No can do. I have things to do that simply can't wait. I have no intention in fighting you but if you pursue me I will be forced to." Ben would say putting a fair amount of distance between them ten feet he knew the wolf wasn't going to do what's he asked so he started to sprint in to town. Taking turns between houses before exiting through the town through the hole that had been made by the giant man when he was punched inside of town. If they were going to fight it might as well be away from the town no need for anyone to be harmed. Taking another ten feet from him and the wall waiting to see if the wolf would follow him. No no he wouldn't wait for the wolf it was foolish to do such a thing for now he had to leave the area. Speeding down the hill he got on his boat and pushed away from the shore. Setting sail to get away from this island. Not even realized that there had been some beli placed inside his boat.

                                                  Last stop.

The pair decided that last up on their list of places to pillage in South Blue was going to be the lawless ruins of Centaurea. It was a land that was once a great kingdom, however, after its king was killed during a civil war it fell into the hands of crooked politicians who hired mercenaries as soldiers. However, those mercenaries made quick work of the politicians and took the place over; turning it into a badlands that the World Government doesn't bat an eye at. It serves as a breeding ground for smuggling, trafficking, be it guns, weapons, or women. In another world Goldy probably would've called this place home, but she had no interest in ruling over men who kept their heads down and stayed cooped up in their own little worlds.

She wasn't a settler. She was a conqueror.

She'd known the Blues like the back of her hand and this was the last territory in the South that was with their time. The other areas were remote islands without much in terms of material objects, a jungle which served as her people's testing grounds that she played in as a child, and an island filled with martial artists. And while the latter sounded quite resourceful in terms of a practical sense; there wasn't much to be had there since the lot of them were probably some order of monk anyhow. So her choice was a run down kingdom ran by mercenaries.

Since they always hunted them, why not return the favor?

Barring the explosion Galand set off on that last island it seemed that all was going to plan. Their swiftness in pillaging an area blind was nearly impeccable. She noted their timing whenever she'd stop and take a look at her stolen stop watch. However, they still could have been faster, and had they actually been conquering each territory instead of just raiding them she was certain that it would at least take a few days given there was more to destroying and taking over a piece of land than just caving in a few faces or overthrowing a previous ruler.

Again, once her ship hit land she hopped from her boat and hit her stop watch. This time she didn't bother with turning her head back to address Galand.
"We can jus' run wild here. No one's gonna miss'a bunch'a mercenaries anyway. Wreck the people, not the loot." Goldy called before showing off a new, flashy trick. Her body blurred from existent but in the next instant she re-emerged twenty feet ahead. She'd done this several times and with the lands littered with hoards of mercenaries, she would strike a few in the back of the neck, toss others over her shoulder, and fling several into each other. The blonde refrained from using the abilities granted to her by her fruit; deciding that if there wasn't a need for it then she just wouldn't show it. There was no need in revealing all of your tricks to your enemy after all.

She managed to tag enough people to get the attention of a good dozen or so men. Surrounded by the lot of them the woman kept a level head and a cocked smile as they swing their chains and loaded their guns. Goldy never rolled her hands into fists, instead she kept her palms open. So when the men charged and their guns fired she rose to attention and with her index fingers shot them out with blinding speed. From them came narrow bursts of pressurized wind that combated the bullets and destroyed them, racing forward to hit their long-ranged marks; piercing them through the chest. All the while she swayed, dodged, and acrobatically ducked and moved about the swung blades and chains. Goldy struck with her fingertips; they'd dig into the flesh of her foes like a hot knife through butter. Striking precisely and leaving them littered in bullet holes without ever shooting a gun. Her body was nimble, flowing with the wind and allowing it to carry her whenever someone swing their blade at her. Her pointer dug into a man's cranium before she swung her body around and drilled three holes into another man's gut.

In seconds the troupe had fallen. Her fingers were bloodied as she'd been surrounded by a circle of bodies. With a calming sigh she'd head off and start collecting some cargo. Hopefully these mercenaries were good for something and had at least a little bit of loot on them. After scavenging what she could she'd return to the ship and await for Galand's return. Now the real question was what were they going to do now?

                                                  {Exit.}

[ It was finally time. The last stop on their expedition, eh. To be honest, Galand is feeling a bit saddened that he won’t get to have too much more fun soon. They’d definitely need to put a stop to this madness before anything too overwhelming happened. Drawing too much attention and the like. He sits on the ship leaned against the side railing, staring up at the clouds. Wherever they are headed now, nature clearly isn’t all too keen on the place. It’s nearly like day and night, with how the clouds shift, gray, and darkened the closer they get. He turns his head to the right in order to get a good look at the place from a distance. Whatever this island is, he can tell, it’s bad news. In fact, he can oddly smell it. Even from this far out in the distance. Recently used gunpowder and the remnants of fire having charred wood and stone alike. This place is battle crazy for sure. Nothing like the last three island.

“You went and picked quite the island for the last stop eh, Gold.” he remarks, feeling the blood in his veins progressively increase as the budding adrenaline kicks in. It only took those few words from the blonde to kick him into the mood. “So we can finally let loose! Ah how I waited to hear that from ye. Right then, don’t go getting trashed.” he remarks before leaping off of the ship and onto the grounds below. The chilling stone and moss beneath chill his bare feet, sending a welcoming sensation up his body while Galand crouches down. With one sudden push, he lunges himself up into the air, and quickly descends, crashing down into the ruined town square. People all around stare in surprise at the sudden explosion of stone. Many fall or leap back, grabbing hold of their respective weapons. “Wh-What the hell was that?!” One man dares to ask while the debris and smoke clears. “An enemy attack?! A cannon?!” Another chimes in, equally as curious as the first. Both holding rifles pointed at the source of their attention.

Then from the dust cloud, a figure stands tall. Galand walks out from the crater he made and lightly moves out of the dust, leaving red prints of his foot with each step. “Huh? The rock around here ain't much for density. You lot should consider using stronger stuff, else you’ll wind up with holes everywhere.” The crowd all point at him from every direction with eyes bulging out their sockets, and mouths hanging agape. “SAYS THE ONE MAKING THE HOLE!” they cry out in unison. Another runs towards the hole and yells to the heavens with one big no. “He smashed Steven! He killed em dead, he did!” All of the men stare at the crater as the smoke finally clears, revealing the body of an unfortunate man who had simply been in the trajectory of Galand’s descent. Poor guy. Galand rubs the back of his head in confusion, simply not understand how he couldn’t have felt that guy beneath him...or why the man didn’t move.

“Ah. My bad.” He says. “APOLOGY NOT ACCEPTED” the men all yell out with yakuza stares, finding no way to explain this brutish intruder’s nonchalant attitude. In anger and possibly aggravation at his sudden appearance, they rush him, prepared to make the dark skinned man pay for what he has done to both their property, and maybe even a little for Steven. “That’s right, boys. Come at me. It’s been awhile since I got to let loose, but, no worries. We’ll dance the hornpipe over ye graves.” he snarkily replies to their advance. With his right hand clenched and firm, he slugs the closest man, sending him barreling into another two, and with agility, and precision unfitting of a man of his mass, he brings down the others, practicing with his own brute abilities now. He learned that his ‘gift’, or fruit power as others would call it, isn’t enough alone. It just isn’t. He has to himself grow stronger, and even stronger still. His abilities should only be an extension of those.

After having messed around enough, he cracks his knuckles and winds his neck as per usual. “Thanks for the practice. But, all good things must come to an end. ‘Sides, I doubt those women o’ mine want to stick around with you lice infested bilge swiller’s any much longer. High time I hit the seas again. I’ll be helpin’ myself to ye goods though, if ye would be so kind.” With that, he gathers up all the belongings of the men, and sets back to the ship. After loading everything, he’d make way over to Goldi and cross his arms, having had put thought into their next order of business. At least directly.

“Right then. We made good with that game of yours, and I’d say we came up top. But I also say we leave the South for now. Gonna be real hot with those damned parrot stranglin’ privateers soon. And I don’t know about you, but I just ain’t in the mood to be dancin’ with that lot right now.” He offers, essentially saying they should get the hell out while the gettin’ is good. ]
