Weeks had gone by since that scuffle between Captain and mate. While it wasn't Asche's place to tell the lot of them how they should behave, he still held them all in contempt to be better. They were gonna sail these seas and it was gonna be done, together. Hopefully as friends, but he couldn't tell them exactly how to interact. As he exited from his room with nothing but his bottoms on, the giant of a swordsmen made his way over to Nefetari's. He'd grown accustomed to popping in, making sure he was alright, then leaving right after. No need to be in his space unless welcomed. "Aye, morning sleeping beauty." A voice cut through the door, light taps following after. "I'll be heading up to see where we are. Tahira said something about us finally being able to get into the Grand Line. Hopefully she wasn't messin' around." The only thing that'd be heard were the echoes of his steps as he took off into the distance. Eyes sharp, paved, curved. Arriving on the deck, he was met with a heavy rain -- but it wasn't like it bothered him much. What did bother him, what riled his soul, was the look above high in the sky. Shadows of beasts stretching the length of the earth. Asche knew they'd made it into the right place.

"Oi, Tahira. . Get us to an island. . Looks like we're in the right place." This where it all got serious. They would become legend among men and god among mortals. All they'd need to do was achieve it. Hopefully Mad Dog woke himself up sooner than later.

Time passes. And life goes on. Only time will tell, as the saying goes. But with that aside, other things would be on the mind of the crew’s navigator and physician. At the helm, as most days she would be found. Steering their vessel in the right direction. Though today, she held a firm grasp upon the wheel. The sky was darkened. Rain poured heavily. Staying out in such conditions weren’t wise. A sickness could arise. But rain. Oh, how she loved it. Back in Alabasta, rain was rare. Unless you illegally obtained Dace Powder. But that was a story for another day. Rain hardly ever came back home. But the moment she had left and lived a life in the Blues, rain came often. And once that cold liquid fell upon warm skin, Tahira would smile brightly. Dancing in the rain, while others watched on in curiosity. “Such a strange girl. It’s as if she hadn’t seen rain before” But oh how shocked they would be if they had only known.

So, at the helm, wearing a hooded rain coat of course. (Aint no one trying to get sick!) Tahira would steer, while humming a tune. “La la la laaa~” It was a song she had learned in her village. One that most villages sung when wishing for rain. A warm and joyous song about the great things such blessings brought. Her hum would carry even through the pounding rain. A talent she rarely showed. This would be the first time she had done so, aboard this ship. Around her friends no less. But in her mind, no one had been around. It was her alone, steering within this dreary weather. Though in her eyes, it was a sign for things to come. Clearly, she was in a good mood despite what many thinks when the sky appeared so grey. Just as she had parted her lips to allow her voice to flow again, she would halt it upon hearing Asche call out. Eyes shift and land on the swordsman as he gave her instructions. With a bright smile, she would give a hearty, “Aye!” Before spinning the helm. An island ahead. The beginning of the Grand Line. “We’ve made it”

Eyes greener than the lush forests of Amazon Lily would open from a restful slumber to be greeted by Nefertari's beautiful reflection in the nearby mirror. He was stired by the sound of John-... Ashe's...voice. The white haired male would hear what he had to say but would give no response. There was no need as Ashe would soon take his leave after the exchange.
Nefertari would rise out of bed and begin his morning routine. Teeth, bathe, hair, clothes, and then finally scent. The scent was important! The male would stare at the many decorative perfume bottles on his vanity. There were so many choices! He would settle on apple and cinnamon. He was ready for the day but...did he really want to leave?
After the fight they had a week ago, Nefertari's presence was scarce. He was almost never seen outside his room. He would come out for food and supplies when they docked but he never participated in the socializing or little get togethers the rest of the crew had above deck. The male felt unwelcome. His approach to life was so different from theirs and they did not seem to understand how to deal with him. The same could probably be said from the other side of the fence...
Nefertari would stare at his reflection in the mirror. It wasn't to admire his own beauty or to look for a flaw...it was as if he was staring at a puzzle he was trying to figure out. Was he the issue...or was it the others? True his attitude wasn't the greatest but it wasn't like his words did not come from logic. If communicating from logic didn't work then what was the young viper to do!? There he sat...thinking. Was it even a good idea to leave his room today...?

No rest for the wicked, at least, not unless they choose to rest that is. And who'd dare wake a captain from their slumber? What gall did they have?

For all of a year the once notorious band of unnamed pirates had vanished from the world. The havoc, destruction, and devastation had been spread thinly among their time in the dark.

Once known for confronting and going toe to toe with the infamous Yonkou, Dekura, and his men, the varying handful of pirates had helped cause a bit of an uprising within the world though their names were, for the most part, unknown. At least for their self-proclaimed leader, an amazonian woman who only went by the nickname Goldilocks. After the defection of one of the most renown Marines, Merlin, the tactical savage believed it would be for the best that their little group lay low for awhile following the aforementioned Marine's capture and execution.

Trudging through the vicious seas the small ship had finally sailed itself through the threshold of the Grand Line, entering the first row where they took up residence for some time. The pirate could remember telling her crew that there hadn't been a need to rush things. In truth, it didn't matter who found One Piece nor who they were, even if it had all been a myth, the true victor in the end was the one who could actually claim it without getting their head lopped from their shoulders. If they were going to conquer the world then why not take their time and enjoy the ride? Enjoy the mayhem while they could?

Earth, ice, and pure darkness. They were a force to be reckoned with. They were going to impact the entire world, but they couldn't do that while someone else was in the spotlight, Goldi saw no need in fruitless competition that would only get all of the Marines on their a** all at once; oh no, they were a small group. If they couldn't expand their numbers then they would expand their own abilities to make up for their lack of numbers.

                                                  -----

The heavy thud of glass striking wood sounded off, the sizzling hum of suds rising to its rim followed immediately after. The clamor of over two dozen men filled the dimly lit make-shift tavern as there were even more bodies than there were voices. However, the loudest when had been the drunken slurs and swears of one fuchsia haired woman who donned the hat of a captain. Her body was as long as it was curvaceous. Mile long legs outstretched over the table that she sat at with those she called comrades. Leaning back on the hind legs of her chair as she downed the deep brown contents of her crystal mug. Across from her had been a well-toned, well-tanned man. Polished bald head, a heavy scowl on his face as his body was bound by the strongest hemp rope she could find. The hat she wore once his. His mouth gagged. The crew, a gaggle of drunken sailors were now hers to command, along with the ship.

Somewhere between rowing to the Grand Line and now they small group had wrecked their ship and ever since then they'd been commandeering whatever they could get their hands on. This one in particular, just so happened to have been in the middle of a race when they hijacked it.

The man swore incoherent obscenities through a bloodied ascot that doubled as the gag in his mouth. Cheers could be heard off in the distance. A mixture of outright fear, respect, and booze kept the pack of sea dogs in check. Goldi knocked back the rest of her beer and slammed her mug down only to be filled again.
"What's wrong, boy'o? Cat got yer tongue?" She taunted towards the bound man, stripped of his title, his clothes, and his pride. A wicked smirk stretched along her lips as she waved about a thick strip of pink flesh in between the digits of her other hand. She paused for a moment, looked quizzically over to the disemboweled tongue in her hand, peered back over to the man, and laughed.

                                                  "O-Oh wait... that's me! Brrreeeeeee-hyakyahyahyahyahyaaaa!"

The bass heavy cackle had a domino effect on her pillaged crew. The rest followed suit and laughed and banged their fists on the table as she discarded the tongue by tossing it over her shoulder into some half empty mug.

Wiping a tear form her one good eye Goldi cooed, stood up from her seat, stretched and sipped her mug as she begun walking off; the heels of her thigh highs clacking along the way.

                                                  -----

Through the door she sauntered out to the stern of the ship where she could get some fresh air. Currently they had been in a Dead End race. Their ship out ahead with a few trailing behind. There were a handful of indentured sailors from her stolen crew that were busy lightening the load on their boat; tossing over the crimson ribbons and lumps of bodies overboard into the ocean, cleaning the hardwood floor soon after so there was no blood left over.

All in all Goldi didn't know how many men the trio killed before the rest seceded from their previous captain to keep their own lives. Only that half of them remained. A third maybe?

Along the way she came across another well-figured woman whose hair matched her own hue. The towering amazonian approached her from the rear and playfully yet roughly swatted her across the a**.
"How's it goin' Sweetcheeks? We winnin' this s**t yet?" She asked, casually strutting to stand at GoGo's side though the height difference was staggering.

Goldi peered out into the distance. A few ships were gaining on them with another two trailing several ticks behind them at either side.
"Bah, more riff raff out there, eh?" Her gaze cast towards the boat that face starboard.

The woman tiredly sipped from her mug with one hand while the other twirled and twisted, fingers cracking and arching like manipulating the strings to a puppet. The hand grew black with a weird mystical power as its influence spread over a large pile of unloaded cannonballs and lifted them up into the air. A human sized black hole spiraled into existence beside her as the metallic spheres hypnotically sauntered their way through the portal's threshold before its closing. Maintaining her drink and her buzz she lazily outstretched her arm and aimed it towards the ship some ways away to their right; palm-side up. And with that same black hand, after a bit of predicted timing and aiming, she snapped her fingers and the portal reopened above her rival ship; raining down all of the cannonballs onto it and sinking it into the abyss.

For a moment she watched the show and took in the sweet sweet sound of all of those hopeless screams and curses upon her mortal soul before carelessly pivoting back around to GoGo.
"Feel free tah do whatcha want to the rest'a'the competition, love and we'll figure out what'tah do with the rest'ah these clowns." She said pointing her thumb over her shoulder to the captured crew she had under them for the time being. With another swig from her mug she bent her towering body down to GoGo's height, brought her head in, and gave a brief but passionate kiss to her lips before pulling away and walking off a bit noddle-legged.

"Oh and these ******** had a lotta blow stashed away on the ship, real premo s**t yeh? Snagged a bunch and threw it in meh chambers." She called out, her back to the pinkette as she strolled off back inside, "We're. Going. To. Get. Fuuuuuuucked up~ Toooooo~niiiiight~" She sang in a high pitched tune, wagging a finger about in the air while adding a little shimmy and a twirl in her steps.

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxTheme: A romantic ocean! How I do love the sunset.

Where had the time gone? Oh me, oh my.

One moment they were taking liberties to the land in mirrorball island, doing what they pleased and relishing in mass destruction and chaos. Then the next, she'd found a year had passed with this woman whom she'd found one day by accident. Her fondness grew to more than that and became this overzealous love that led GoGo to become almost a bodyguard to the infamous Goldiockes. The time between had been well to the now pinkette; her strength had grown quite a bit and she'd learn to control her powers. Old habits never died - she was still as obsessed with drugs and sex as she once was, perhaps under Goldi her want had increase. All kinds of diluted substances, wild nights of debauchery ending with death, mayhem, and wild sex with women that ended up being chucked into the sea. Her hair, once going the length of her body had receded quite a bit and now was manageable enough that it wasn't a days work to tame it. Her attire much more free, wearing barely anything aside from pants and a bra.

Being a ice logia user meant cold didn't matter, so she could parade about almost completely nude without a ******** to be given.

Through many adventures and time lost in a world where monsters roamed, doing as they pleased, the group ended up here, smack dab in paradise. At least, that was what Goldi said this place was anyway. GoGo cared little for it, as long as they could have some fun. Their first objective was to find a new boat to commandeer, considering the last one they took was uhh. . Well, they killed everyone on it and left it to float to a ships graveyard, wherever that was. Getting on the ship took little time and was eased off. Killing those on board was child's play and it seemed that Goldi had a little date with the current captain. All while that was going on, the Kuja opposite went off to get into some kind of trouble of her own. After the tango with their leader, the men were weary, clear dejection in their eyes as she sauntered about, going through their things without a care in the world. Notice was taken - she didn't like their looks. The faces of men who were clearly beneath her.

They had to be taught a lesson like dogs. Keep your nose to the ground when master walks in and don't s**t on the carpet.

Course, conventional wasn't something GoGo specialized in. Quirks and talents gifted in seduction and the ability to read a room with relative ease. While hate remained in their visage, lust was far more evident. A game. . She'd toy with them before they all died.

"Mmm. . You know how long its been since I've had a big strong man. . " In a sing song voice her feet touched the wooden planks, soft thuds hitting the air as prodded steps brought her to the front of one such dog - a horny beast with a heavy blush. A simple mutt. ". . I've been so cold on these lonely nights. . .So very cold. .Would you all mind warming me up~?" Heart eyes ensued as she gave a coy wink, a sparkling blush coming off her figure as the men all rushed forward for a piece of her and as soon as they got a good grip she'd smile from ear to ear, their bodies suddenly flash frozen as the room turned to a pristine white, glossed over by crystalline stalagmites that reached the brims of their nose. That wicked smile laid ever present, those cold brightly lit eyes scanned each and every one of them. "I guess none of you were hot enough. . That's too bad~" One by one she took her time shattering them and leaving them pieces on the ship floor.

With that bit of fun over with she lazily walked through to find the wheel of the ship and get them to a nearby island, but not before some man explained something about them being in a race. Hm... . Well, she could guess that if that was the case, Goldi wouldn't want them to back out. They'd win, of course, by any means. "Thanks. Now be a dear and go play with your d**k below deck with the rest of your mongrel crew, mutt." It was said so sweet that it terrified the man. Milk in honey had laced the tone, but venom was ever present. Perhaps she was irritated by the lack of drugs in her system; she was a functioning addict after all and had been running low for a bit now.

Her mood changed quite a bit though once feeling the presence of the only shining light in her life.

"Mmf!" A soft moan escaped as she felt the tap, holding the wheel to turn her eyes up to Goldi. That same lustful expression she always gave when looking to her. Her question seemed easy enough to answer. "Well, we're winnin' easy enough, but there's a few boats comin' up on us. Should we do the normal? And. . have you seen where Galand is? You don't think he's sleeping in the Crow's nest again, do you?" Seemed Goldi was already either too drunk to care for the man's whereabouts or was too busy; either way, GoGo took her words with a nod and returned her kiss with a whole lot of tongue and a sultry demeanor.

Watching her walk away she'd sigh, a hand going between her legs for a moment. "Great. . Another ruined pair of ********' underwear. I'm like a bloody facet when that woman comes around." Annoyed, she'd shift on her heel towards the side of the boat and with bland motion, grabbed a piece of rope and gave it a tug to assure her safety. Then, leaped on down to the water below, dropping to touch it. It'd freeze instantly under her feet. "Goldi-sama wants to win. Let's finish this up, then." A single step forward and ice spread outward over the water behind the boat moving forward, the rope beginning to pull on GoGo as her job finished and the sea behind them was nothing more than a coat of hardened frost. Each ship stopped in their tracks.

                                                            Easy.

"Now." Shifting, she'd return to the deck with a quizzical expression. Where in heavens hell was Galand!? "Gally! Hey Gallly-chaannnn~ Your sweet GoGo could really go for one of your big, manly hugs right about now~!" If he was awake, this usually got him running. And, well, if he was sleep, then she'd have to find her markers.

[ It had been a year since the groups reuniting in North Blue. Goldi had brought along with her a new woman she found somewhere in the Blues; GoGo. At jump he could tell she’d fit right in with the group. And Ashlyn had gone and recovered, making the desperation of their previous travels a thing of the past. Now-a-days the crew has been spending their time being complete and utter nuisances right in the World Government’s buttocks, with no regard to property damage or the lives lost in their progression. But now, on this special day of merriment and competition, Galand is spending his time laid back carelessly up on the crow’s nest napping. Again. He’d recently come into a sort of rut where there hasn’t been any real challenge or threat to the group since that b*****d Dekura was around. Everyone from that point forward has been...less than satisfying.

Even now, Galand is dreaming of that fateful day. That short battle he had. At least, he was, until the resounding yodeling of the woman down below wakes him from his wonderful dream. “Mrrph…?” he eyes groggily pry open as he turns over onto his other side, scratching his hams lazily. And there it was again, that voice calling for him once again. “...GoGo.” he lets out a sigh before rising up into a crossed legged sit. With a mighty yawn he fights to stand up and lean over the railing with his arms hanging. “Haaah? I didn’t catch that! What did you sa-” before he can finish, a newspaper slaps him in the face. “The hell? Stupid trash flying about… Cheh. Oi, Go, what did you sa-” again, another newspaper slaps him in the face followed by a glob of salty seawater. In anger, Galand turns towards the front of the ship hoping to find the source of this pollution, and now that he thinks about it, isn’t the wind pretty strong right now?! Ashlyn said it was supposed to be a pretty calm day, and yet?!

The moment his head turns forward to the ship’s front, a massive gale of wind smacks him in the face. “OIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII?! Why are you going so fast?! The hell are you doing, crazy woman?! ...Wait, actually, where are we?!” Wide awake now, he leaps down from the crow’s nest and lands in a crouch, rushing over to GoGo. He places a hand on both her arms and lightly shakes her. “I know I said I wanted to get to the next island quickly, but isn’t this too fast?! What if we hit an iceburg?! You gonna take responsibility if I die?!” The whole situation was dangerous, and clearly out of control. He hadn’t been told about this mad man’s race, nor why they needed to take part in it at all. But in the end, here they are. With his mind focusing back slowly, he looks off at the various ships beside their own hurdling for victory. At first he lets a huff slide from his nostrils as he turns a blind eye to them. But the moment he notices them preparing to pincer he and the others from either side, he whole persona changes. On one side they’re planning to try and fire cannonballs, while on the other they slowly creep closer, hoping to board and raid the ship. Hell no. Galand rushes to one side and clenches his fist. Around it a white sphere--his epicenter, breaches around the hand. With one stroke of his fist, the air next to their vessel begins to crack and break apart like glass. Suddenly, the ship all the way in the distance is shattered and violently sinks with the men aboard having nowhere else to go.

Afterwhich he looks over his shoulder to the other vessel, glaring. “Go on, then. Which of you has the balls to leap onto my bike first?” With a heavy gulp, the men hesitate. ]

Back down into the saloon she went. Brushing back a few strands of orchid locks, the self-proclaimed captain tipped her head back to finish the contents in her mug as she made her way down the stairs. The glass would shatter once the tankard had become devoid of its alcoholic delights. Her hands fell into her pockets as she pushed her way through the double wooden doors that'd swing back and forth. The woman eyed the crew of men, the ones she chose to keep around after taking their ship. Near a couple dozen of them in all and not a looker among them. As they shouted their praises for her and sang their drunken sea shanties the jacketed woman sighed as a coy yet disappointed smirk stretch along her lips. "Well this is was fun." She mumbled.

A black mist slowly crept out of the number of orifices on her person and through her clothes, licking her skin and crawling along the dimly lit saloon. The darkness spread over the wood and swiftly over the inebriated lot, shifting the general hue from sandy brown to a pitch black. Never moving from her position, the mist encompassed the saloon and all of the laughter and cheers and singing dimmed and transitioned into blood-curdling wails and the sickened breaking and crunching of splintered bone. The mist congealed and compacted inward, swirling into a single pool of blackness before vanishing. All that remained was the naked captain that she previously gagged and tied to a chair. No bodies. No blood. Just the pair in the saloon.

She approached him, her staggered steps nearly toppled her over, unsure if it was caused by the unsteadiness of the speedily moving ship or if all that booze was finally getting to her. However, as the ship slowed she figured that her mates had handled the other ships outside. She caught herself and adjusted her balance, continuing forward as she snagged his disemboweled tongue from the mug she threw it in earlier. She stopped in front of the man and towering over him for a few moments with a grim gleam in the pits of her eyes. Her smirk long since faded, her lips pursed with disinterest. A black hand reached out and hemmed him up by his bindings, pulling him along and taking him out of the saloon the strip of flesh betwixt the fingertips of her other hand. Once back out on the stern she walked the man over to the ship's edge. Seeing just how fast they were moving though her vision was a bit askew because of her buzz.

To the shouting and wailing of a now awake Galand, Goldi shot her drunken gaze over towards him, a scowl to match her furrowed brows.
"Hey! How boutcha make yerself useful and steer the fuggin' ship so we don't fuggin' crash, huh?! Can't win a race without a boat, Galand!" She hollered. Looking off she could see the shoreline swiftly approaching, the dead end of their race; the finish line.

The darkness around her arm split the rope that kept the man bound, freeing him as she yanked the gag out and immediately, with her other hand, stuffed the tongue back into his mouth. The blackness repairing and reconnecting it back to its regular usage. She smirked as she reeled herself in close, their eyes inches apart.
"I'll letcha live tah tell the tale. Now go give word who did this to yah." She taunted bitterly, throwing the former captain of the ship overboard and into the sea. If he had his sea legs he would be able to swim to shore without much of a problem.

It appeared that they were going to win this. All they needed to do now was to not crash and die. Her body pivoting as she woozily peered over to the others, her buzz starting to fade.

Slapping the newspaper several times, Asche nodded to himself with a gleeful expression. If they won this race they'd net themselves fifty thousand beli! Enough to stay afloat, resupply and head on out to sea, in one fell swoop. All they had to do was get to the start up area which was in. . okay, and then the timing wa- ?! Oh no! They had to be leaving, right now! "Roselle! To the helm! Get us to the spot marked on this here map! I'll rally the troops!" Placing her down, he'd begin to run off before turning almost abruptly, coming back slowly in a tip toe fashion once she had shifted in the opposite direction and gave her a hard slap on the a**. He admired the jiggle, before heading back off yet again! "For good luck! Shahahaha!" Echoing through the air, his legs took him through the ship, first to the area where Sea Dog aka Ocean Man aka Beach Bum bka Marshal, was currently being dunked. Asche appreciated a good dunking and nodded to EZ in approval. "Givin' him the old once around and twice forward! Good on ya', he needs to be strong if he's gonna survive these seas." An appreciative smile, then a thumbs up. "Oh! We'll be in a race. A illegal race for money. Roselle is takin' us there now. Ready yourselves for. ." Hues turned, body following. ". . debauchery. ." Were they gonna cheat?

Yes. Yes they were,

Next, he had to head on over to Neffy's room. Making a mad dash, he slid to the door and began giving it a repeated banging. "Neffy! Neff! We're gonna be racing in a illegal race to win money for dinner! I'mma probably try to cheat! Come to the deck if you wanna join in the fun!" Happily he'd speak before once again jetting off through the ship, coming to the deck with his usual full outfit on. When he had time to change, you'll never know. Standing with his blade over his shoulder, his pearled smiled reached high into the night time air. "Aye, is everyone ready to party?!"

                                                Roselle Stark

XXX As she was set down, Roselle would take the newspaper that had so rudely attacked her, heading to the helm of the ship so that their ship could participate in this race Asche was so excited about. She'd barely turned when she felt something hard smack her a**, causing her to jump and squeal. "Wah?!" The power of an a** slap fueled by 362 strength was not to be taken lightly, and Roselle turned to her Captain, a look of betrayal in her eyes. Every time she got too comfortable he had to go and do something like this! Pouting at him as he ran off, she'd turn with a huff and make her way to the front of the ship, lightly rubbing her stinging skin. After a year of being at sea with Nefertari and Asche, she had indeed picked up the basics of sailing, and saw the S.S. Maribel safely on her way.

Sailing in the dark wasn't her ideal situation, but her concerns were easily coaxed by the pleasant feeling of the warm night breeze. Besides, her Captain and hopefully the rest of the crew would be back by her side soon. As if on cue she heard the familiar sound of Asche's footsteps running closer, breathing a sigh of relief even though she was still mad at him. "We're approaching our destination!" True to her words, their ship was coasting to the started point of the race, and Roselle looked about in awe at the myriad of ships gathered around them. This was a more popular event than she had thought. . .

There was a calming silence in the desert flower’s room. Nefertari had lit a few incense and started bathing his sorrows away in his poison. It was the purple venom this time. This ones color was one of his favorites. The shade of violet it took made him think on the mysterious of the world around him. The vast unknown and what might lie within it. At peace, he would sink into the toxin filled tub until his nose hovered just above the liquids surface.

He failed to steal Asche’s attention from Roselle and as tradition dictates, she earned a single act of kindness from him. In this instance, it was the sand dollar she left on the beach. Yes. Nefertari has a heart of gold and a beautiful form to match it! As he was reaching the peak of his calm, his peace would be shattered by the loud obnoxious banging coming from his door. Asche’s voice made it slightly better but not enough to remove his irritation. A race. His peace was destroyed for an illegal race.

He would roll his eyes as he would hear his footsteps getting further away. He would stand up and dry himself off before getting dressed in his usual but still elegant attire. Throwing the door to the upper deck open, he would walk out with the wind throwing his clothes into a dance on him. ”Alright...racing. I guess...” He would hastily dash and “hoist the sails”. Yes. He’s a pirate~! I know ya’ll impressed~!! Anyway, the sails would be hoisted and secured.

Nefertari would wipe his brow. There was no sweat because he was too beautiful to sweat but it felt appropriate to do so after putting in work to get these sails out and catching wind. Verdant hues would sweep the ship to rest on the sight of Roselle at the helm. A perfectly arched eyebrow would rise to question this decision. A slight smirk accompanied this gesture. He would simply shrug regardless of the response he received and turn his sight towards the rest of the ships that were participating.

”This might be mildly entertaining~.” Softly spoken to himself as the race was about to begin. Nothing got the heart pumping like a dangerous boat race that could possibly send you sinking into the liquid death below...

Marshall

Ezekiel replied to his earlier statement but had yet to address his concern. As he stood to the side, Ezekiel was busy drawing the bath. Sh fiddled with the knobs as she spoke about her favorite food.Apricots? The word sounded foreign to him. Is it a fruit or a vegetable? Neither? Maybe some kind of meat?! No, it couldn't be meat, she said peel. His face went through a series of thoughtful expressions as his head ascended to the clouds.

He had forgotten about Ezekiel's remark about being dunked and was more focused on what exactly an apricot was. He scratched his head, back turned to Ezekiel when he spoke again,"I've never heard of an apricot? What are th-" Marshall halted mid-sentence after feeling her hand grip the back of his head firmly.

Was it something he said?

All he knew was that he had no time to say anything else because Ezekiel had hoisted him up into the air and slammed him head first into the bath water!

Marshall couldn't believe it! She dunked him! He was a fool to be so unguarded, but what's done is done. As he was released into the bath, the water rushed into both his nostrils and mouth as he quickly shot up towards the surface sputtering and coughing. he snapped his head around quickly to stare at Ezekiel. The look on his face was a mixture of curiosity, fear, and complete bewilderment. His crimson eyes locked on the one (1) eye of his newly made friend.

"Oh boy, I feel right at home now..."

The bath water was warm and refreshing. It had been so long since his last shower, granted he was stranded at sea for a while. He wanted to stay in the bath forever, but alas there were things to be done, moves to be made.

Marshall wiped his face and proceed to reach for the soap and a washcloth. His hair, which usually stood up was now pressed against his face. He hadn't even undressed yet, though he would wait until she had left of course. They weren't that close. Looking back at Ezekiel, Marshall pouted and squinted, "So, what's next?"

╔═════════════════════════════════════════════╗

A year. An entire year was all it took for most of his crew to disappear on him. One even became an idiotic marine and had made a promise to bring him down. It took guts to do it and he respected her a lot for it. Unfortunately that respect was overshadowed by his unyielding rage. If losing his gang wasn't bad enough Guzma, who wasn't a navigator, got lost in sea for an entire year. Every day he attempted to read the map that was on board the ship but no progress was made in deciphering it. Every failed attempt had him punching and breaking a barrel; which left a lot of broken pieces of wood all over the ship. Where did these barrels keep coming from? The ship had been large enough to carry a year worth of supplies. Which was counting the fact that an entire crew would be on board; there was more than enough supplies for only Guzma. While he was physically doing well his mental state was starting to crack, ocean madness took a toll on him. Using pieces of the barrels he broke to make a makeshift crew which he put a skull bandanna on them. Giving out orders to them but time and time again they would fail Guzma who would go back to his quarters and sleep. That was his routine for an entire year until the soft cracking of wood woke him up. Unbeknownst to him a pirate crew had boarded what they believe to be a ghost ship they could use for an upcoming Dead End Race.

"Making so much noise this early in the morning" A disheveled Guzma would complain, his eyes dragging themselves up and surveyed the area before sitting up. Cracking his back and fingers seemed to shut up his crew quickly. Good they knew that there noisy behavior woke him up, nonetheless he would walk outside to check what they were doing.

Ghost ships were best left alone unless you were unafraid to be haunted by those with business left in this world. Or desperate enough for a larger ship for the up and coming Dead End Race. It didn't take much convincing for his crew to board the ship. After all the ship looked in good condition and wouldn't need much prepping for the race. All the captain did was give a speech about how they were bravest crew he ever seen and just like that they were boarding the ship. The sight of a bunch barrel with faces drawn on them was unsettling for the crew and the creaking of the ship kept them on their toes. Unable to even loot the ship before noticing the door the captain's cabin open. And there stood. A man? A wave a relief washed over the entire crew as they let out a hefty laughter.

An invading pirate crew? Why was his crew just standing around doing nothing? Looks like he had to do everything by himself like always. "Look at what we have here. A couple of idiots invading my ship" Scoffing at the group of pirates who responded by pointing their weapons at him. "Crew take care of them" With that he walked back into the cabin shutting the door behind him only to stand by it waiting for his non-existent crew to beat them up. Bodies hitting the floor with a thud and the unamused shouts of the enemy pirate crew quieting down to a silence. Walking back outside mere moments after his stylishly exit to see the destruction he had brought upon his enemy. Fools were they to have tried and take his ship especially with his crew on board. Glancing at the barrels who had moved location from where they previously were. One by one Guzma grabbed one of the pirates and tossed them back to their ship there was nothing to see here. With the last pirate gone he headed back towards cabin only to catch a strange poster on the ground, must have fallen from one the pirates. "Dead End Race?" Guzma read out loud to his crew. "Crew! We;re going to go to this we can use the money after all" Not getting a reply but knowing they understood what he said.

The enemy pirate crew was full of people with butter fingers. Besides dropping the poster for the race they dropped a log pose allowing him to find his way around the grandline. Just like that Guzma would join the race letting his crew control the ship while he steered. A crew that made of barrels with arms and legs coming right out of them.

A good gun? A few hundred Beli. A new wardrobe? One thou, maybe two. The look on their Ocean Dog's face after his Dunk Cherry had been popped by Her Pinkness? Priceless. It was one of the more heartwarming things she'd seen in a while. She was the newest recruit, so she'd been spending the past couple of months acclimating to the pecking order of the ship. It felt nice to have someone newer than her, but also someone that she could share the newbie experience with. Not that she minded being new! But sometimes it was nice to have someone to relate to in a new place. Once she clapped him on the back to dislodge that water in his lungs and told him how to work the knobs, she got the rest of her giggles out and finally responded.

"We're gonna have a go at racin', it sounds like, so you'd better scrub like you mean it! I've gotta get up to the deck and set up shop, so try not to drown once I close the door, Ocean Man. I'm sure Asche has something planned for you." With that, she gave him a knowing wink (which was really just a blink when you've only got one eye) and ducked out of the room. She had things to do! Places to be! Cheat codes to input! Hit the Konami Code on those fools and take the gold!

Wah! Smell that sweet 'n salty air! Up topside, Ezekiel caught up to Roselle, Neffy, and her Cap'n with a quickness. She sucked in a deep breath, let it out, and strode over to the ever-sweatless Nefertari (perhaps yet another symptom of being Fergalicious?). While she stretched her limbs and cracked her joints in a...mildly grotesque way, she asked him: "So are we brainin' 'em? Or just kneecappin' 'em? Cause I can get on the crow's nest righ' now if there aren't any best laid plans..."

Ezekiel was already getting scope rush. It had been a bit since she'd gotten to stare down the ole iron sights and let a few fly. Up there in the crow's nest, just her, her prized scoopin' spoon Thaddeus, a few empty jars for wizzin' and her rifle...that was her sanctuary. No one could take that from her: the thrill of it, the isolation, the way the world seemed to stretch and yawn beneath you when you got up on what was essentially a twig with a cup sticking out from the boat. She was getting dreamy-eyed just thinking about it...when were they taking off already?!

His stance was set, his saunter had ceased and the eyes of the raven haired, golden tipped beast seemed to brim with a sort of seriousness that wasn't like before. Perhaps his handle as the captain of this crew hadn't exactly been taken seriously - that was, up until, a few moments ago.

Rarely did Asche show this side of himself. One that spoke in volumes; that exuded a certain air of danger that didn't quite sit well. Nefetari knew it well as his call sign to being serious, but no one else had over the months they'd been together. Rarely did his attributes as a pirate shine but on this day, this hour, it brimmed proper for them all to see. Grasping the sword at his side, he'd look to EZ with a excited expression, waving his blade to the air. "Line em' up, knock em' down. Take down as many as you can see." His steps would take him to the right, shoulders moving back and forth, finally dropping so that his upper garb fell to his waist and his bare body was shown once again. No scars as of yet, but in the days to come, in the months and years, that'd probably change.

"Nefetari, bring down as many ships as you can. Roselle, just keep us on track. We'll definitely win if you can do that." Gaze shifting, a flare - passion, burning within his visage. She'd only seen this once and that was when he heard what the Skypieans had done to her. "Marshal." By now he was suspected to be there and as he spoke his name, Asche stood on the ships edge, blade pointed forward just as the bang went off to sound the beginning of the race. "From what I heard you wanted an adventure right? Well. ."

His sword swung down and the entire ship next to them was left wrecked, broken and halved with a single swing of his blade. It shattered, as they always did when he used too much strength. With a blank and bored expression he tossed it to the side, hopping back to look at the crate full of katana that was kept on deck, for this situation in particular. ". . you've found it. Welcome to the Big Smile Pirates! Shahahahahaha!" And so, the race begun!
