Calida covered her mouth as a yawn escaped her. She needed to remember to order some more sopor when she was done with business. But, for now. She sat in front of a convenience store with home-made plastic packages filled with sugary delights. Sugar cookies, chocolate chip cookies, cupcakes and many many more sat on top of the booth. It was a bright display that she hoped would catch the eyes of any troll looking for a quick snack.
Her lusus chirpped at trolls every now and again, intrigued by them or their lusus. occasionally making noises at Calida, followed by some very mild, motherly preening for the young troll. SO FAR not many had stopped by her booth, even when she had taken to going up to trolls saying: "Hello, can I interest you in some Confections?" and other such phrases
she worried she might not make her quota this time, so even if she remembered she needed sopor for her coon, would she really be able to afford it? She gently bumped her prosthetics against the top of counter top in a rhythmic fashion as she anxiously waited for customers. Hopefully someone would take an interest.

Kerras always relished a trip to the grocery store. With their hive and lusus being mostly self-sufficient, outings to the village were a rare occasion, and as such, one to be savoured. Kerras did just that. While their lusus waited outside, they loitered around the shop for as long as they could, examining all the goods, reading all the signs and labels, and gawking at every stranger they came across (from the safety of an aisle corner of course). It's safe to say that this took hours. Outside, the Grove Warden might as well have become part of the scenery.
When Kerras finally exited the store, they carried a meagre two shopping bags, one dangling from either hand. These they promptly dropped as soon as they passed the automatic doors. In front of the store, where there had been nothing but concrete before was a cute, little table with a troll sitting behind it. More importantly however was their arms, which looked like nothing Kerras had ever seen before.
Rushing over, Kerras took hold of the other troll's robotic hands and began turning them this way and that, their face alight with excitement. “Aah!”
&&saihen Kerras, use your words, please.

Green Minuet I accidentally wrote in Akkira's blood color THAT'S OKAY! Shorter is probably better in the long run. Get more done faster!
"Oh," Calida breathed in sharply at the compliment of her prosthetic. Her arms were a sore subject, but that didn't stop her from flashing on a smile and get excited talking about them. She put her metallic hands together in front of her mouth. "Well, thank you! They can be a bit of a hassle sometimes, but nothing I can't handle," She said proudly. Calida went quiet as she deliberated on whether or not to actually let the troll touch her hands. She wasn't entirely fond of the idea, but he wouldn't do any harm, right? She held out her arms to let her get a better look all the while trying to quell the panic that built in her chest.
"I plan on getting an upgrade soon! I'm thinking something to help me keep things warm and maybe something a bit more waterproof," She explained excitedly, her trips to the beach were a difficult one when her cheap prosthetic didn't do well in water and she didn't want to wear plastic bags in public, though maybe she could try fashioning special plastic gloves? Also she would like to weaponize the firepower that had awoken within her, but that was something she wanted to keep under wraps for now. She barely knew this troll after all.
