Liam Noor's home occupied the entire 3rd floor of a converted industrial building on the Salem waterfront. The front door was propped slightly ajar, a sign taped at about eye-level:
PLEASE SEE YOURSELF IN -LN
Inside, the decor is luxurious but eclectic, clearly modern pieces paired with more vintage furniture. Every available bit of wall space is decorated, whether with paintings, photographs, or hanging tapestries. (For the art buffs in attendance, some of the paintings are unmistakably the work of Mr. A. Prividaniye.)
There is a drink station set up on the sideboard in the dining room - there's red and white wine on offer, a rather expensive vintage if anyone cares to notice, as well as sodas and a pitcher of something mixed and alcoholic and fruity. A waiter in a tuxedo circles the room, offering a selection of finger foods from his silver tray.
Something in the kitchen smells delicious.
Candles twinkle in the alcoves. The coffee table in the living room is set with a crystal ball and a deck of tarot cards. The windows on either side of the fireplace look out at the Danvers river and the twinkling lights of Ashdown beyond it.
Mr. Liam Noor sits on one of the yellow sofas, wearing a velvet smoking jacket and holding a glass of red wine.
He seems serene, his usual frantic energy stilled... for now, anyway.

Temperance has always been punctual to a fault. She slipped off her coat and moved further into the condo, her white dress whispering around her thighs. It was strange to come here, to be invited - she wondered why and chalked it up to some great, unknown lottery. Surely Professor Noor had no desire to see her again.
She grabbed a glass from the sideboard, filled it with some sugary pop that her teeth would regret in the morning, and tried to look as though she wasn't intently gaping at the paintings on the walls. Somehow, it was the sort of place she'd expected him to have, and not. Finally, she took a seat on the yellow couch.
"Hello, Professor Noor. How have you been?"

After spending most of the late afternoon hours with Zac preparing for this little shindig, Juniper was having mixed emotions when they arrived at the designated address. After all, the last time she had seen Liam she had gotten quite a bit of information out of him. Information she had not expected to hear nor really get. Plus, it's not like they had parted on the best of terms with him shouting at her to leave. Juniper had thought she was over the whole thing, and she had told Zac she wasn't really nervous, but as they walked up to the door and let themselves in, the butterflies were in full force.
Blue eyes roved the room they stepped into. For some reason, the more modern look of the place was not what she had expected. Why, she wasn't sure. Every time she had seen Liam in the store he certainly seemed to have good taste, at least in clothing. So why wouldn't that transfer to his decorating sense? Maybe it's because of his husband. Whatever the reason, she was pleasantly surprised by the eclectic yet modern decor.
Of course, she couldn't miss Liam who sat on the sofa looking completely relaxed and composed.
Unlike Zac, Juniper hadn't bothered with any sort of outerwear. She hadn't needed it. Even with the chilly night she felt completely comfortable and so had no need to search for a place to drop off a coat or shawl.
Not one to run away from things that worried or scared her, Juniper flashed Liam a smile and walked over to him. Leaving Zac to tend to taking care of his outerwear. "Thank you for the invite tonight, Professor Noor. I am excited for tonight's events." And she was. She just wasn't sure how the man was going to be towards her, considering.
She turned her attention to Temperance who had arrived just before them. "Evening, Temperance."

Shun was honestly not sure what to make of this excursion. It could be completely harmless. Something for the times. Or it could be dangerous, considering who their hosts were. At the same time, this was set outside of Ashdown, so the amount of shenanigans there could be on a magical scale was largely limited.
Still, he dressed up in a black suit, renting a car for the day to drive out since it wasn't as if he could dress this way and take his bike.
He arrived on time, a little early even.
Once he stepped inside, he took a look around. The place seemed nice to say in the least. He took note of the drinks off to the side, as well as a server going around with a tray of what appeared to be finger foods. While he was getting acquainted with his surroundings, he also spotted Temperance and Juniper. The detective wasn't entirely thrilled to be seeing the two women.
"Professor Noor," he greeted with a curt nod.

Thorne wasn't really sure why he was there, but he was. No, that was wrong. Thorne knew why he was there, he just didn't really want to. The fact that an invitation had innocuously appeared in Coalsmoke while both Chris and him were sleeping like the dead hadn't startled either of them as much as it should have, but it did bring about a question of whether or not Thorne would be attending the seance or not.
The answer, in the end, had been yes. If only to see what it might lead to. Thorne still had every intention and plan made of going back home to Chris and eating absurd amounts of halloween candy and laughing over the fact that they'd decorated to the point that Coalsmoke itself looked entirely like it was masquerading as its own little haunted castle. The coffin full of candy by the door had nothing to do with trick-or-treaters (really, how many would a haunted warehouse even attract?) but it would be good for them both to munch on when this seance inevitably went south.
So of course Thorne dressed the part and played the part, and when he arrived he was four inches taller because why the ******** wouldn't he wear heels if he was going this far? The half-cape that shrouded his shoulders and went above the three piece suit was ebony, gold splintering through its edges in intricate patterns of leaves and thornes and roses. The dark vest cinched heavily at his waist, accentuating his broad shoulders and the curve of his collarbone, the reveal of tattoos violent against the dark of his attire.
And it seemed most of the other guests were already there.
He blinked at them all, a warm smile sliding effortlessly onto his face.
"Good evening," he said, because no matter what kind of weird party jojo this s**t was going to have in it, it was still Halloween and Thorne still loved Halloween to death. His eyes were wild and bright. "Thank you for the invite, Professor Noor." He turned his head to the rest, his smile lazy and cat-like. "Don't you all look dashing."

Juniper was a bit thrown off at first when Liam referred to her as Temperance. Now, she was pretty damn sure Liam was more than enough of an intelligent guy to be able to tell two women apart, even if said women were both blonde haired and blue eyed. Still, she was going to give him the benefit of the doubt and just calmly correct him when Temperance beat her to the punch.
Alright, good. Problem should be solved now.
But, he did it again.
Eyes narrowed slightly as she watched Liam continue on with some of the other guests before she grinned and shook her head. He's doing this on purpose. The b*****d. Well, if he was free to tease, she was.
"Professor, I wasn't aware that old age was beginning to take it's toll on you already. I know Temperance and I look sort of similar but...." She grinned and shrugged delicately at the man, obviously teasing him since she had caught onto his little charade.
When Thorne walked in, Juniper turned her attention to him. After all, how couldn't she when he arrived wearing such lavish clothes. She stood there staring at him, not realizing she was doing it, until he turned to them and gave them all a smile. With a little blush she snapped herself out of it and returned his cat-like smile with a sly smile of her own. "The same can be said to you. I do appreciate a well dressed man." She tossed him a wink before Liam commanded Thorne's attention. Juniper was well aware at this point that Thorne and Chris were very much a thing and Thorne had no interest in herself, or any women she was beginning to assume, but it was terribly fun to tease him. Why, oh why are the gorgeous ones always gay though.
At Liam's behest, Juniper glanced over at the painting that Throne had done. She wasn't well versed with art and the intricacies of it, but she certainly could appreciate a well put together painting. "It's beautiful!" She remarked.
