A rowdy bar often filled with people. Not as shady as the Dark bar, but also not Elegant like the Light Bar. Everleigh runs this bar and lives on the floor above it with Shay.

 【 Ever stood behind the bar, her gaze traveling over the people inside of the room. She was very nervous today, as Shay had yet to come home. While she knew that she could trust the woman to escape trouble, she still felt that she was the one that had to look out for her. She smiled to herself as she thought back on all of her memories of the young woman she now lived with and leaned against the bar in front of her, hoping for the swift return of her love. 】

Shay padded into the bar in her cat form, swiftly pouncing onto the bar where no one was sitting and then shimmered, her body returning to normal, sitting on the bar with her legs crossed. She smiled, then hopped behind the bar to Ever, sweeping her up into her arms and planting a large kiss on her lips. Shane felt the comfortable pleasure she always felt when around her love. She returned the girl to her feet and leaned back against the bar. "I'm home, though empty handed. Sort of got caught up in something, people want me dead, I got out of it, same old same old. So what's for dinner?"

【 Ever gasped slightly as she found herself wrapped in Shay's embrace. She hesitantly returned the woman's kiss, focused more on the condition of Shay. Ever often found herself worrying about her, and she tended to check Shay for any injuries upon her returns home. As Shay pulled away, Ever quickly glanced her over to see if she had any wounds. There did not appear to be anything noticeable, for which she was grateful. At Shay's words, however, Ever frowned."I was too busy tending the bar to cook." She informed the woman, meeting her eyes. "Perhaps you can cook for a change?" She suggested, raising an eyebrow at her. She was used to Shay bossing her around, but lately it seemed she came home less and expected more. It was quite frustrating, and Ever felt it was time to make a bit of a stand for herself.】

Shane sighed and rolled her eyes. "Yeah yeah." She was used to Ever acting more like a mother than a lover. She scanned the fairly empty bar. "Yeah, seems busy," she said sarcastically, before grabbing an apple from a fruit bowl and taking a bite out of it dismissively. "I spent hours out there trying to scope out my next target. I need a bath. I'll come back for a drink once I'm done. Have a whiskey on the rocks ready for me?" She disappeared into a back room and up the stairs to their home.

【 Ever clenched her fists as Shay disappeared upstairs without letting her say a word. Recently she felt that the woman she loved was walking all over her rather than treating her with respect. As Shay walked away Ever followed after her, not appreciating the way she was being treated. "You do know that my business is the only reason you have a home right now, right?" She questioned, not letting Shay have the privacy she desired. "I do feel like I do more than my fair share, and I am certain that you can make your own whiskey as well. I would like to relax. It's been a long day." She said defiantly, searching for a place to sit in their home. She settled for a chair and made herself comfortable, watching Shay closely. 】

Shane ignored Everleigh and undressed, getting ready for her bath. When she finally stepped into it, she sighed. "You never would have gotten the money for this place if I hadn't stolen it for you. You need me." She knew she was being cruel, but for some reason she just couldn't stop. She was bored. She loved Ever and cared for her more than anyone, but she was so motherly. There was no spark anymore. It was just... comfortable.

【 Ever gave a frustrated sigh as she looked over towards Shay. She could feel her anger boiling over as she shot a glare at the woman. "Are you insinuating that all we are to each other is money and a home?" She asked, fully aware that she sounded ridiculous. "Mind you, I rarely see you at home these days. It seems you have better things to do than spend time with me. Is that right?" She continued to sit in her chair as she awaited Shay's response, slightly regretting her outburst. 】

Shane grumbled as she finished washing, dressing herself again. As she threw a fresh cloak on she spoke to herself. "Maybe I'd be around more often if you gave me a reason to want to stick around. So boring, why can't you be like Alyssia? Now that's an interesting woman." She didn't mean it, Shay actually loved the responsible, motherly, quietly-in-charge personality that always calmed her. Shane always had her to lean on, and she was already regretting her words. "No, I didn't... I mean..." She was unable to take back her words.

【 Ever closed her eyes at Shay's comment, shielding herself from the woman's harsh words. She opened them slowly, meeting the eyes of the woman in front of her. "Alyssia?" She said calmly, her rage clear in her eyes. "Then go. Now. Be with Alyssia." She added, her voice still calm. Ever stood from her spot and walked down the steps without so much as a second glance, resuming her position at the bar. She was often one to hold emotions such as the heartbreak she now felt inside, choosing not to express this anger to Shay. With the state of their relationship she had been prepared for the inevitable heartbreak, and she did not want to let it overcome her. She had many good memories with Shay, and she hoped not to let them be overcome with grief. As she waited by the bar she let her thoughts wander to happier memories, away from the current situation. 】

Shay tried to reach for her as Ever walked away. "N-no, I didn't mean it! I don't want her, I just..." But she was already gone. Anger at herself and at Alyssia and at Ever and just at her life all together filled her mind. Unable to handle it, she decided to turn to animal with very little thinking power. Her form shimmered and appeared again as a large, dark owl. She flew out the window, trying to disappear into the night and her own mind.

As soon as she had exited the dungeons, she had huffed and turned back in, only to find that Shay had already taken off... and most likely with her weapon. Shiv decided that no matter what she was going to get SOMETHING out of her "hired thief". After having exited the dungeons once more, she spread out her arms and closed her eyes, transforming into her phoenix form. Pittering over to the nearest window, she hopped up. Embers flying off and dying out behind her. She shook out her feathers, she then took off. As she neared Ever's bar, she watched as something flew away from that area. She cawed after it, but no response. Shiv mentally shrugged, must not have known them. After landing she turned back into a human and adjusted her clothing before walking in. The bar seemed pretty empty, " Wow, do have a little time to get me a drink?" Just then she looked at the girl a little closer, " Whoa, hey. 【 Ever looked up at the sound of a woman's voice. As she recognized the woman as Shiv, Ever felt herself crumple slightly. She had been holding back the pain, waiting for Shay to leave before she let it out. Ever looked to Shiv with sad eyes, a tear dripping down her cheek. She leaned on the bar for support as she spoke softly. "Nothing's wrong, I am fine." She assured her, wiping the side of her face. "I think we broke up, is all. It's not like I didn't see it coming, after all." She said, her voice cracking slightly. She forced a smile in Shiv's direction before she continued speaking. "What kind of drink do you want? 【 Ever looked up to Shiv with sad eyes, her expression now calm and not matching. "I just don't know where to go now. I need a change." She said calmly, trying to keep her emotions in check. She quickly assembled the drink for Shiv and put it on the bar before continuing. "Can you keep a secret, Shiv?" She asked, hoping she could trust her friend in front of her. She had found herself to be close to Shiv, seeing as Ever was one of the only people that could keep Shay in check.
