ffffff↬Pheobe was too excited to talk to anyone at the school's train station. Plus, she had her hands fun trying to keep Fireball and Rosie managed while more people arrived. The two just seemed to want to run off and play, but she had the feeling that wouldn't exactly be smiled upon. It wasn't too long before Ms. Ezra got everyone's attention using a megaphone. She explained that they would be attending a cultural festival for the next two days. She explained how they were expected to behave and what to do if they do happen to get lost, which Phoebe made sure to make a mental note of. This would be one of the first times she would be in a large city, she was sure she was bound to get lost with her luck. After telling them what they'd be receiving on their Pokegear, the students and pokemon were allowed to board the train.
It didn't take too long for them to arrive and get off the train. Phoebe remembered the station a little bit from when she arrived at the school. Fireball seemed to as well, sticking close to his trainer because of the crowds. Rosie was asleep in her bag, exhausted already from the walking she did with her stubby legs. Ms. Floros announced that they'd be going to the building they'd all be staying at and that they'd need to find roommates. She noticed Ava and gave a soft smile, moving towards her, "Hey, Ava! How's Fritz?" She remembered that the small bug type was not fond of large groups of people and was sure the poor thing was at least feeling a little nervous from it. "Oh, would you like to room together?"

Nirav kept quiet as they moved through the train. He hadn't ridden on this thing since his arrival a week ago, but as they approached the city, he was still in awe of it. The tall buildings, the bustling people... It was like tourist season back home, except he could only assume that the Lamia District was like this all the time.
As one of the teachers mentioned living arrangements, Nirav knew he'd be the odd one out. He was the fourth person, and the only boy. He didn't really know any of the guys at the school, save for Cyril, who he had talked to but one time for a battle. Of course, it was when he was getting used to this group that he had to suddenly find a new one. Elysia asked Riko and Shusona about rooming together, also informing him that he wasn't able to join. "Y-yeah... I'll... I'll figure s-something out..." He'd probably just room with some strangers. Or maybe, if he was lucky, he'd get a room to himself if everyone else knew each other. But he was given the option to give his number to the three of them."Yeah, we, uh... we can meet up." He smiled, pulling out his pokegear and reading off his number to the three of them with minimal stuttering. He didn't have it memorized completely yet, but he almost had it down. "Just, uh... text me your names, I guess." He hadn't ever had a cell phone before; this idea of texting people was all new to him. People began to move inside the residential buildings with their groups of three. Raja and Nirav looked to the girls. "I should, um, I should go find space.... See you later." With a small wave, he walked off towards his housing with the other boys.
It was an odd, comfortable feeling with Riko, Elysia, and Shusona. He felt a part of something, and it was quite nice. But as he moved into the boy's hall, he was reminded of the fact that here, he was a bit of an outsider. Honestly, he didn't know any of the faces he and Raja passed by. The two of them were able to slip into an empty room at the end of the hall. Nirav sat his bag down on the first bed, letting Raja jump up beside him. Would anyone join him? Part of Nirav hoped not. He certainly wouldn't mind having the space to himself, and Raja was on board with that idea as much as the boy was. But he couldn't wait to hang out with them again. His... friends? It was a little too soon to say, but it certainly wasn't a bad thought.
[OoC: Figured the convo might've happened on the walk to the living area, hence I moved it here w/ the big move, hope thats ok]

It didn't take very long to get into the city. Ava had gone quite a few times since she first arrived at Ordell, so the ride was nothing new at all. Even Fritz had grown used to it. The only thing that kept him a little nervous was the sizable amount of people he was around. It wasn't everyday that the whole class was being driven into the city! As the train slowed to a stop, Ava grabbed her things and followed the crowds out into the streets, excited to be in town for the festival. As they walked upon where they would be staying for the next two days, one of the teachers informed them all that they'd be staying in groups of three.
Before Ava could have a lot of time to react to the news, Phoebe came up to her. Ava smiled to the girl. "Hey Phoebe! Oh, Fritz? He's doing ok. Just a little jittery. And how's Fireball?" Fritz, as usual, clung to the young girl's shirt like his life depended on it. The last thing he wanted to have happen was to get lost in the city. Soon, the Kingdra girl asked about rooming together. Ava nodded. Phoebe was really nice. "Sure!"It sounded like a lovely idea in Ava's eyes. "C'mon! Let's grab a room!" Ava led the way towards one of the girl's rooms, moving into the first empty room she could find and putting her bag down on one of the three beds. She left the door wide open, hoping another friend would find their way inside.

"Sure!" Riko answered Elysia. The group then walked together to the living quarters for their two-day stay. While doing so, they all exchanged numbers, so they could get in contact with one another. Riko grabbed her suitcase and bag and kept them close to her. Snivy was on her shoulder and like Raja, it haven't said or did much on the way there. This time though, Snivy was smiling slightly. Which is a pretty good start. Riko wasn't sure if NIrav could stay with them when it comes to rooms, since he was a boy. Hopefully he will find someone to do so. Bronzor seemed to be talking to Elysia on the way there about something, and Riko was positive it gestured to Snivy and Raja. At the same time she was wondering what kind of cultures Lamia had to offer. Pokemon culture? International? She had no idea. Although she wanted to learn. If the whole academy (with the exception of the staff members) took their time to plan out this trip and to cancel Afternoon classes, it most be crucial and important, right? Afterwards, they arrived at the living quarters. "Woah! This place is huge!" Riko said. Which made sense since there were so many of them. Snivy nodded. Back at her house in Nimbasa City, they lived in a two-story house and that was more than enough for the four of them and their Pokemon. It was very huge, kinda like a manor almost. Made of bricks, lot of windows. There was a gate to which was open. Riko and her friends walked inside and she, Elysia, and Shusona made their way to the girls' living area while Nirav went to the boys'. Riko went into one of the doors way down the hall and opened it. She placed her bag on the bed and her suitcase next to it. Snivy climbed up and rested against a pillow. Elysia and Shusona seem to be making their way inside their room. Hopefully, this trip will be fun.
It was a pleasant relief that her companion was not harmed but merely surprised. She had thought most people would grow accustomed to those instruments as they commonly used within her previous school. ’I guess it was a bit sudden,’ were her thoughts on the matter while taking a glance at Chespin. Chespin listened attentively at the Bronzor but would occasionally glance out the window to see the change of scenery. From the start it didn’t sound like Shelah was on board with the idea of assisting their humans in the gray area of friendship. Sure, the Pokemon did have a point in the comparison between Alana and the human male that was a part of the group. He was quiet and perhaps a bit more on the shy side than Alana. Though, if there was going to be a battle of the most shy person in the group then you could count on the Grass-type to cook something up. When she thought more about it, Chespin didn’t really seem to communicate much to the other Pokemon. If her plan was to work then she would need to involve the others. After all, it wasn’t being so nice to the human because of its own feelings but as a promise that the Pokemon made with Alana’s sibling. As the train ride went on it looked like the Steel-type may have had a change of heart when it asked about what the creature had in mind. ”Pin-pin esp Chespin pin Chespin~ pin Ches-pin Ches Ches pin pin {Lets not only have our humans in on the fun~ But it has to do with the festival and maybe just a tad bit of stringing them along.} Chespin motioned towards the human group’s Pokemon before listiening on the last bit of the conversation. Chespin Chespin pin pin pin Ches espin {IF you could do it, then it will definitely give something for the humans to talk about.
As she awaited the others to depart from the train the girl gave a firm but appreciative nod towards Elysia’s words. ”I…don’t know….I think we choose ourselves…” she faltered at the thought. Her personality was certainly not the type to ask people to be their roommates, and it most certainly was not the type to be bold enough to initiate the action. When Elysia spoke again, Alana could feel her heart leap with joy and her cheeks blushing in a mixture of embarrassment along with joy. ”I-I’d love to…if you don’t mind…” her voice certainly sounded happy while her eye’s darted towards the Salamance girl and to the rest of the group. ”Bu-but even if it weren’t co-ed….it doesn’t mean we can’t see each other.” Alana glanced towards Goto as he grew just a tad bit quiet on the subject. He offered his number to keep in touch to which the girl was quick to type down in her gear. ”I think that's a good idea…I…like hanging out with you all…” She was able to say something, to which she thought was a bit embarrassing. Her cheeks flushed a tad bit more as Goto left the group and headed towards the group. Taking out her device she wanted to send the male a quick text. To: Goto, Nirav From: Alana Shusona ‘Hi, its Alana Shusona…I..hope you won’t think I’m too forward in saying that I really like spending time with you ^^ Even though we won’t be in the same room we can still see each other, and text each other before heading to bed. Oh…this sounds weird right >~< OH…..I hope I don’t seem like a weird person…I’m not used to talking to people..but I definitely want to be able to talk to all kinds of people. I’m sorry about Ponyta but he seems to have taken a real shine to you. I hope I’m not bothering you and I hope we can see each other soon! Maybe we can visit your room or…the other way around…I’ll have to ask everyone else though… Hoping for the best wishes! Alana Quickly tapping the Send button, the message disappeared in a flash and the device was tucked out of sight.
Alana and the rest of the girls gathered towards their room with Okumura leading the way. She was still bound with energy the moment she took off from the train to the minute they arrived in their room. It looked like they would all get their share of the room equally. Setting her stuff down onto the bed her gaze went to the other girls. ”So…what did you want to do…I guess we are on free time right now…” Ponyta had clip clopped all the way up to the bedroom as Chespin continued on its conversation with the Bronzor. Ponyta looked around the area…the confined area that would certainly not let it roam around at its own pace. It still wanted food…it didn’t quite know why but it felt that its human girl held the secret to sate its appetite. He nudged her again on the human’s side.

After arriving at the lamia station Koru had leapt from the train and onto the platform. It was strange being back in the districts since that time with Ray- she hadn't really been back since then- but she was more than ready to feel excited for the festival. SHe had been talkng with Cyril and Kirsi on the way there and it got Koru to thinking. Kirsi had mentioned how fireworks looked with snow and she began to imagine how much brighter they may look from the snow's glimmering effect. It sounded amazing and made her want to see it for herself. She also felt a little flushed, but happy, at the compliment of her father. He was amazing in Koru's eyes and the very reason for her dream as a fire specialist. Though she did snap out of it when Kirsi asked her what a yukata was. Koru snapped her fingers to remember a simple explaination rather than ramble,"Oh yeah it's just a kimono to wear in the summer during festivals and stuff. I have a picture...oh wait it's not here..." she forgot that she didn't it with her. In the top drawer of her desk she has a scrapbook from back home that she looks at so she wouldn't get homesick, but didn't really feel like packing it for this trip. Kirsi didn't seem as excited about a tournament as she was then revealed she would prefer a one on one between them. It made Koru smile and nod,"Yeah that's true! I'd have a lot more fun goin' up against you and Chance. Doesn't mean I wouldn't give it my all though!" Every year it took place Koru was too young to enter the festival battle, only able to watch her father., but having pokemon now and becoming a trainer she could enter one if it were too happen. Here's hoping she could control her excitement... Cyril wasn't saying much, but he seemed like the quiet type to her anyway during class and the off chance of seeing him around campus. Though his answer to Kirsi's question did seem a little...well she couldn't think of the word but it wasn't very nice sounding. She turned around and walked backwards with the group and mentioned, "It's cool we're all in the same house then! Who knows maybe it'll come in handy one day..." since school started she was actually wondering about the purpose or what the different houses were for. It was sure to be something interesting but as far as she's seen, it's only the colors of their uniforms that she notices. Cyndaquil made a noise to notify her to turn around. She stopped talking and did so too realize that they were at the living area the teachers were talking about. Her mouth gaped in awe the place looked just as fancy as the dorms, probably even more. The teachers mentioned finding roommates and Koru immediately turned to Kirsi, gripping her hands with her own and looking at her with a awe inspired look, "Oh Kirsi let's be roommates! We can build pillow forts and eat popcorn and all kinds of stuff!"
Takahiro watched as the students made their way to the lobby of the hotel they were going to stay at. When it seemed that the whole group had safely entered the hotel's premises, he waited a few moments for things to settle down before he spoke. "Alright everyone listen up!" He really didn't want to say this twice. The bespectacled male took out his share of the printed itineraries from his bag and split between him and Luchadoris. The colorful bird Pokemon speedily started passing the pieces of paper, gently tugging at their pants or skirt to call for their attention. " Itineraries are currently being passed around. Do not lose these as you'll only be getting one."
The itinerary read as followed:
Day One: A parade and dances pertaining to Latin culture Day Two: Student games Day Three: Battle exhibition
"We'll be here for three days. You're free to roam around the district, just come back before curfew. If you have any questions, please contact one of the teachers!" The man announced loud enough for his voice to echo throughout the room. He had secretly hoped that no one would ask him of all the teachers for answers. Things were tiring enough for him already.
When he had finished speaking he started passing the itineraries as the others... That was until he bumped into someone. He was surprise that he didn't have to look too down before he saw who he bumped into. A long head of pink hair had caught his attention. Upon closer observation, he realized that it was his co-worker. Miss Floros was it? Realizing that he had been staring, he immediately shifted his gaze elsewhere. "P-Pardon." He said before going back to what he was previously doing. But what was he doing again? From a distance, Luchadoris was letting out soft chuckles; it had been a while since she'd seen her trainer like that.

ffffff↬Phoebe smiled when Ava agreed to rooming with her. Before they found a room, they were handed itineraries and maps by a teacher, this one she couldn't quite remember who he was. Looking at the map, she made a small face of confusion. "Hey, Ava? Have you ever been in a place this big," she asked her friend as they moved to find a room. Ava found them a pretty good one and claimed a bed for herself when they entered. Phoebe decided she'd take the middle bed and set her things on it. Fireball happily started to explore the room as Rosie popped out of Phoebe's bag with a happy 'Dew~'. As she unpacked, Phoebe decided to change into different clothes, seeing as some of the other students were already in casual wear. Moving to the bathroom, she got changed.
Coming out, she smiled at Ava's question, "Fireball is doing great! He's leveled up some too, hopefully he'll evolve soon." She was pretty excited about that fact. "Oh, you haven't met Rosie have you? She's my newest pokemon!" Pheobe picked up the grass type and held her out to Ava. Rosie happily motioned that she was okay with being held by the other girl. "I hope one day I can get her to evolve, I hear Rosilia's flowers smell amazing!" After introducing her newest pokemon to Ava, she sat down on her bed, "Do you want to wait so maybe one of our friends can take up the last spot in here? We can plan places to go maybe while we do!"
In no time at all it seemed, Iris and her pokemon as well as the rest of the students and teachers were taken from the station where they arrived at from the school to where they were would be staying at until the festival was over. It was a hotel; they were going to stay in a hotel. This was the first time she was staying in a place like this without her family with her. Instead, she would have her friends around her. She was in a sea of students as they filled the lobby. It was becoming rather suffocating when her focus went to the tech teacher who said that the itineraries were being handed out. Iris was caught by surprise by the Hawklucha that gave her a piece of paper to read. Iris read over the plan for the their days. Needless to say she was impressed and excited for it.
Iris looked to find her friend in this sea. When she got to Koru, her and Krisi were agreeing to roommates with each other. It stopped her as well as confirmed that she would have to ask people to room with her or maybe even have people ask to room with her though she believed it was the other way around since she doubted anyone would be asking her to room with them. After that feeling from the close spaces were coming over her as she walked herself into the hallway.

The group was slowly walking along other students while they headed toward the place they would be staying. Elysia was worried that Riko and Alana might already have other plan. How relieved she was when they both accepted. "Great!" Elysia beamed when Riko and Alana accepted her invitation. She would be in trouble if they hadn't, for she hadn't spotted anyone she knew. This was why she could understand how Nirav might have felt to be excluded. Even now anxiety seemed to lace Nirav's words. Her next suggestion about exchanging numbers and future meet up appeared to give Nirav some comfort that he wasn't entirely left alone. Elysia quickly followed to register Nirav's number, then Alana and Riko's. Elysia quickly typed a short message to send to Nirav before he left.
To: Nirav Goto From: Elysia "This is Elysia. If you want to talk, feel free to send me message."
"I will see you later then," Elysia said as Nirav walked away from the group. She hoped the boy would be able to find a roommates that he could get along with. She didn't talk with Nirav much inside the train, he appeared to be nervous when they did talk. She would wonder if she wasn't making him uncomfortable by trying to be social. Such thought would sometime come across her, but all she could do was to be more respecting of his need to be left with some space for himself.
The place they would be staying was a hotel. It was quite grand place that match the standard of their academy. After staying there, she wasn't so surprised by quality of the hotel they would be staying in. She didn't get to take in more of the view inside the building when Riko was running to her room upstairs. "I don't think we should go up yet," Elysia tried to stop Riko, but she was already upstairs. Other students were taking the paper being handed out by a teacher she didn't recognize in the lobby, so Elysia decided to pick up Alana and Riko's share before she hastily followed them upstairs.
Elysia's bronzor was lagging behind when Elysia was occupied. "zor bronzor," He didn't trust Chespin's suggestion of doing stunt like that. His answer was partly also because he was highly distracted. once Elysia caught up with the group, he resumed his talk with Chespin. He hadn't been able to understand what Chespin meant by stringing the trainer along. "bronzor bronz bron?" he asked for explanation.
Elysia entered the room late. She found Alana and Riko had already settled down in the room. "Sorry, there was a briefing in the lobby," Elysia explained her reason of not being with them when they went upstairs. She expected them to be worried that they missed it, but she reassured them that she had made sure to listen for them. "I got your papers too," Elysia told them and handed them their share of papers, before she went to drop her duffel bag to the side of her bed. She noticed that her bronzor was engaged in conversation with Chespin which made her wonder what were they talking about that it took so long. That chespin was the one whom Shelah got upset with earlier today, wasn't she? Looking at the two right now made her felt as if that never happened. It was good that Shelah actually did have an interest in getting to know with other pokemon and not because she dragged him into it all the time. Elysia shifted her attention toward her own companions when she joined them to chat of what to do today. She was looking forward to it, despite how their day one activity didn't sound that appealing. It was more curiosity of seeing what it entailed. She knew what they were, but not what they were going to do during the session. "According to the paper, we got parade and dances pertaining to Latin culture for today. The teacher didn't explain anything of what we are going to do beside that we are free to roam as long as we get back before curfew," she told them a summed up version of what was being briefed. Her image of dance was a kind of group dance by the bonfire. It might be held indoor though, the kind of ballroom dance.
((OOC: I also imagine they talked while walking )) (( I made Elysia pick up the itineraries since Alana & Riko are already inside the room and missed the briefing ))
After getting off the train, Veronica followed her schoolmates to the place where they would be staying for the duration of their field trip. It was a big building, and reminded her a lot of the dorm rooms back at the academy. As she oohed and awed at the scenery, one of the teachers spoke up, calling for attention. Ronna looked his way, trying to listen while still getting distracted by her surroundings. Thankfully, a list of activities was being passed around. She read through it, grinning. There was going to be a parade! And dancing! And games! And battling! This was going to be the best trip ever!
It seemed that they were also given the freedom to roam the city while they were here, which was great because she wanted to do some window shopping and sightseeing. There was still one thing she had to handle, however, and that was finding some girls to room with. They had been instructed to pick two other students to stay with for the trip. Glancing around, a lot of people had groups of two or three already. Ronna spotted the green haired girl, Iris, from her History class standing off by herself, though. She was walking off into the hallway by herself. "Hey Iris, wait up!" she called out, chasing after the girl. When she caught up to her, she asked, "Do you wanna room together, Iris? I think it would be fun." Hopefully she didn't have other plans that Ronna had interrupted. She would feel pretty awkward if she had.

"Thanks!" Riko said after Elysia-chan gave her the itinerary for the trip. Riko quickly looked it over. Day One: A parade and dances pertaining to Latin culture Day Two: Student games Day Three: Battle exhibition Riko didn't know what the Latin culture was like, only Japanese and American, but she was certainly interested to find out. Especially about dance, since she only knew dances from animes. Elysia and Shusona-chan were messaging Nirav, so Riko figured that she might as well. She pulled out her Pokegear to send him a message.
To: Nirav Goto From: Riko Okumura "Hi! I hope you are doing well. We probably won't see each other too much around the living quarters, but we will for the planned events. We can all message back and forth. Hope to see you soon! ヽ(‘∇‘)ノ " ♥ Riko Okumura (●◠ω◠●)
Riko finished sending the message and placed her Pokegear back in her bag then turned her attention to her luggage. She might as well start unpacked. "Snivy." Snivy said. It was her first word spoken since they arrived. Not that Snivy was shy. She was just calm and reserved. She seemed to be paying more attention to the other Pokemon right now. Riko thought that was a good thing, since they will be sharing the same room together. She knew that whether Snivy liked Bronzor and Chespin or not, she will protect them in the time of need no matter what. Unless they were battling against each other, of course. Snivy eyed Bronzor and Chespin. Not in a mean way, just kind of curious. Riko unzipped her suitcase and put in the closet. She hung a couple clothes and had a large bag for dirty laundry. She pulled out a blanket and got settled in. She also put a plush pillow out for Snivy. Catching Pokemon was delayed into when they get back to the academy. She took out a couple of earbuds and a MP3 player. She plugged the earbuds in and looked through her playlist and selected a song. All her songs were Japanese anime music, which shouldn't come up as a surprise. She hummed along and began singing a few lyrics softly, in Japanese.

ゴールの見えない迷路 雨に打たれた地図 後悔も何もないけど Gōru no mienai meiro ame ni utareta chizu kōkai mo nani mo nai kedo.."
she fell lost in deep thought. After awhile, she took off her earbuds and they wrapped around her neck. She did want to explore the district. She wondered if Elysia and Shusona-chan wanted to as well.
Iris turned around when someone called out to her via the use of her name. She was surprised that it was Veronica that called out to her. Iris remembered the girl from her history class. Iris was surprised by the sudden approached a Veronica ran towards Iris to catch up with her. Someone was trying to catch up to her at this point when most were or should be trying to snag themselves a roommate.
Immediately Iris' face went pink when Veronica asked Iris if she wanted to room with her. "You're asking me?" Iris asked in a sincerely surprised face as she looked at Veronica. "Sure...sure... sure can room together." Her surprised expression started to fade into a smile as she still remained pick in the face. "I would really l like to room with you and I think it will be fun too."
Iris nodded her head. "It will be like a sleepover..." Iris looked like she was about ready to burst at her thoughts. "We can do pillow fights, have stories and eat snacks...Yea... fun!"
