Really, was it not embarrassing to be all sad and crying in public? Honestly. Leev had no time for such antics, and she was more than happy to leave the boil to wallow in whatever grief he was wallowing in.
She was a little surprised when the wailing seemed to stop. Had her gaze caused him to realize his public spectacle? If it had, then good. If not...well, it was possible the sound of water was drowning out the sobs (which Leev was fine with).
Continuing on, and making no turns really, Leev soon found herself staring at a quaint little pond. A pond, a sword, and a cup. Oh, and a sign with instructions.
Leev stood staring at this sight for quite some time. What should she do? Did she really want to drink this silly water? She highly doubted it was deadly, since this was a friendly maze. But surely it didn't taste very good.
And the sword. What should she do about that? Why was it sitting there...when it looked like it's home was in the pond?
Leev found herself shaking her head. Silly students, probably, not knowing the proper care of weapons. If the sword had a home it should be in it's home, not sitting around all willy-nilly.
Still shaking her head, Leev moved to place the sword into it's stand in the pond. She could think about drinking after that.
