He hated school.
It wasn't that he never got to issue out enough detentions. It wasn't that there never seemed to be enough apple cider in the reserve stashes, and it wasn't even the fact that the headmistress had locked herself up for so long, he was barely able to tell the difference now between her true form and the closed door she resided behind. The worst part about the entire school thing, well, other than it having students, which was terrible in it's own regard, was that he was, and would always be permanently stuck here.
The school bell shrieked, the PA system went off about some daily reminders about keeping gnomes off student desks and lockers, and the school office doors burst open, two students already queued in for detention.
He hated school.

DRABBLE EVENT! A DAY IN THE LIFE OF! OPEN FOR ALL FACTIONS!
gaia_star [ What is a drabble ]: While a drabble may mean just a short "quick thoughts" post, for this event we are treating it more as a "visiting" post. It gives all characters a chance to drop into various DAY IN THE LIFE OF rps, post a post, or two if they wish, and not feel obligated to respond of have the main host of the rp wait for their response in any form of sequential turn. It is basically like a "drop in" sort of RP in this situation!
gaia_star [ What is DAY IN THE LIFE OF ] I'm glad you asked! This special RP features a "snapshot" look into one of your character's days. What do they do during that day? Where are they? What will happen? That depends on who visits their RP and the strange encounters they may see. After all, each day is always different! This is simply a snapshot of their day (ANY DAY) with all the shenanigans that may happen.
gaia_star [ HOW DOES THIS WORK ] Easy! Post an RP for your character you are interested in. Label in, in their respective guilds [ORP] DAY IN THE LIFE OF __ . That signals that anyone is invited to "interact" with your character. However, there is no pressure to respond to everyone who drops in. It is simply like having random 'encounters' during the day, and less about people coming by to steadily prp with.
gaia_star [ MAKE SURE YOU INCLUDE IN THE OOC IN YOUR FIRST POST ]:
- A small description of your character
- A link to their journal
- AT THE TOP A TIMESTAMP AND LOCATION your character is at!
Here is an example:
*I create a DAY IN THE LIFE OF for Arel. I write that he is in the office. The location should be marked at the top as [ OFFICE ]. I WRITE THE OOC INFO ABOUT HIM SO PLAYERS KNOW.
- Red posts and comes in and posts she saw him at the office. She takes his apple cider. The location should be marked at the top as [ OFFICE ]
- Hellma posts and asks for more princess hats. The location should be marked at the top as [ OFFICE ]
- Student A posts and comes in to ask if they have seen their left shoe. The location should be marked at the top as [ OFFICE ]
- Student B posts and comes in to ask if they have seen their right sock. The location should be marked at the top as [ OFFICE ]
- etc
*I decide to have Arel move locations now and post that he has moved locations. His location is now in the [ CAFETERIA ]. Players can now either interact with him in the [ CAFETERIA ] (feel free to add IC timestamps if you wish) OR in the [ OFFICE ] (adding timestamps may be useful as it will note that this event/drop in happened EARLIER)
- Student C comes in and passes by him in the [ CAFETERIA ], yelling that he'll never get detention.
* I decide to have Arel yell at student C that never is a long time and quote the rper. It is up to Student C's rper if they want to come and respond to this - they of course do not have to!
Student B quips back from the office. Make sure to label it the office with preferably a correct timestamp of when that occured. Quote the main rper. It is up to me if I wish to respond to it or not as it is drabble style!
*I may now feel like Arel wants to talk to his only best friend, Mr. Blobby. Arel may quote Mr. Blobby's RPer here with a small text if they wish. It is up to them if Mr. Blobby wants to respond.

gaia_star [ SO I JUST POST A DAY IN THE LIFE OF AND WAIT? ] Well... that would be really boring. Mostly because then we'd just have a bunch of Rpers who all had just one drabble ORP with no posts. When you're done posting yours, please come back to this thread and TAKE A LOOK AT ALL THE DRABBLE ORP LINKS POSTED BELOW and pick as many as you'd like to rp in! Try to experiment around and pick players you'd normally not get much interaction with as well!
- Make sure when responding to post in OOC AS WELL a BRIEF description of your character and a link to their journal!.
- There is no word count, just go ahead and pop in and just enjoy posting to different characters! You will get rewarded with bonus RP points for doing so!
gaia_star [ Oh no! My character is overwhelmed! ] If your drabble ORP is looking really busy and you for some reason had full intentions to respond to everyone for personal reasons - or for whatever situation, you may TEMP CLOSE your drabble. Just write [ PRP ] instead of ORP and cross yourself out from this list until you are ready again! We recommend you keep it open as long as possible of course, to invite all players to interact with your char!
gaia_star [ ONCE AGAIN THIS IS A DRABBLE ] This means you DO NOT have to respond to every single quote you get. Some are just IC notes! You may wish to respond but you as the host of your own drabble ORP AND as someone responding to others are not obligated AT ALL to respond. If you quote someone and they do not respond, the thread is NOT held up, and can continue on as always! If you WISH however to back and forth RP with a player who also agrees to, you may go ahead in that thread too OR branch it off into a fun PRP with them!
gaia_star [ ENJOY AND HAVE FUN! VISIT AS MANY AS YOU'D LIKE! Even if you don't know the character it is okay! Remember that sometimes encounters can be entirely random! As if you haven't ever accidentally had an encounter with a stranger before! CITIZENS AND DISPOSABLE HUNTERS ARE WELCOME TO MAKE/VISIT ONE TOO. Remember you should only be visiting ones that are accessible to your faction!

- [ FOR EVERY 5 DRABBLE RP POSTS YOU MAKE IN OTHER'S THREADS ] +2 rp points, the post must have a MINIMUM of 50 words to qualify. This is maxed out at +6 RP POINTS MAX BONUS.
- [ ALL DRABBLE RPS POSTED HERE ] Will be rolled for a prize! You will get one custom graphic for your character's journal - which you can also turn into a fancy t-shirt/sticker/etc if you wish! Have fun and good luck!
