Personality: Maria gets her kind and gentle nature from her mother. Cathy is willing to do anything for anyone human or Pokémon alike. She hates no one and only wishes for the same in return. At times she can be a tad naïve thinking better of others then sometimes deserved. However, her heart is in the right place. Cathy worries for her daughter probably more than needed, however she only tries to do what's best for her.
Biography: Cathy meet Maria's father George Taylor when she was twenty-one. He was the kind of guy a girl would only dream about. Amazed he'd even look at her she was even more surprised when he asked her to marry him. Shortly after, she was pregnant with Maria. At first Cathy thought George was happy about it but as their little girl grew she knew he was different in some way. When little Maria turned five George left on his journey leaving Cathy to care for their daughter alone while helping to run the lighthouse. When George didn't come back she pushed it off as nothing despite the rumors that he didn't care about his family. Instead she tried to shelter Maria from those rumors she'd heard.
Noticing that her daughter wasn't talking to any kids her age, Cathy tried everything to get her to open up. Maria spent so much time with Pokémon and as great as it was she still wasn't getting human interaction. Trying to get her to hang with a boy down the street named Antonio Silvano, not even that proved to work. By the time Maria turned eight she couldn't take it anymore, and decided to contact her sister Meg out in Unova for help. After talking to her and Dhylan, it was suggested that Cathy use her daughter love for Pokémon, as a way to get her to talk to people. They even went too far as to send over a happy go lucky Lillipup to help out. Cathy couldn't have been anymore grateful.
By the time Maria was ten she was at least hanging with Antonio. Although, not without some persuading. When Cathy heard about Ordell Academy, she couldn't help but convince her daughter to do. School was a place where children could socialize with other kids their age. Not only that but it was a school about Pokémon something she couldn't help but believe would be helpful. Once she got Maria to agree she sent saw her off along with Antonio hoping they'd both have a great time.
Now all Cathy had was Flaaffy and Sunflora to help run the lighthouse and help with the gardening, which as lonely as it sounded wasn't that bad at all.

Pokemon: Flaaffy Info: She's gentle and sweet, everything you could expect from a sheep Pokémon. Helping at the light house she and Cathy are as close as could be.

Pokemon: Sunflora Info: He loves the sun and the heat. Well not too much heat. Sunflora is just as kind and friendly as Flaaffy is. He even helps Cathy with the gardening around the house. He also enjoys a good dance or two, which to his luck Flaaffy happily joins in.

Personality: Dhylan is right into his music. Day and night, night and day, he's working away on the thing he loves. He likes to think he's a 'cool cat' who’s down with the kids. However he's really just your typical parent that spends time poking fun and embarrassing his kids just because he can. He likes cracking jokes and being more or less lighthearted. This shines through when you first meet him as Dhylan is always making light of everything that goes on in.
Biography: Dhylan meet Megan Pierce when he was eighteen years old. His closest friends at the time were his Pokémon and it was because of Henry his Herdier that he met Meg in the first place. After getting to know one another they came to fall in love. They married and after two years of being together they had their first daughter Stacy. Four years after that they had their second daughter Hannah.
While Dhylan took to having Stacy as a tag along to all his concerts throughout the city, he left his wife Megan to take care of Hannah. He hated leaving Stacy behind when he went out of town to Nimbasa City but he always looked forward to seeing all three of his girls when he got home. Something about little Hannah running over to him screaming daddy, and then wrapping her little arms around his legs was just too darn cute.
See, Dhylan happens to be a musician focusing primarily as a singer and pianist. He loves his music and spents a lot of time on it. His biggest fan would be his daughter Stacy next to his Pokémon Illumise. However he always makes time for family and is not afraid to take his daughters out for a little shopping.

Pokemon: Herdier (Henry) Info: As it turned out Henry had a thing for Megan's Herdier Polly. Thus how the two came to meet. Henry is playful and energetic generally doing his own thing and at times playing deaf to Dhylan. Of course when he's battling that's a different story. He at one point helped produce an egg with Polly. The Lillipup was then given to Maria when she was eight.

Pokemon: Illumise (Minnie) Info: Minnie as Dhylan called his Illumise is quiet. She tends to have a bit of a cold shoulder but when she hears music she lightens up. Sadly it's the only time when Minnie seems approachable. The rest of the time she just comes off annoyed and easily irritated.

Personality: Megan is book and technologically smart. However, she has no sense of organization and tends to lose things easily. She'd forget her own head if it wasn't attached so Rita believes. Despite her chaos with organizing, Meg is a helpful sort. She is always there when her kids need her and likes to believe she's approachable for just about anything. She's also as protective as her Herdier Polly and as polite as her Gothorita Rita.
Biography: Megan is the older sister of Catherine Taylor. Originally from Johto, she left home and at the age of nineteen headed for Unova. Leaving the region she knew behind, Meg found herself completely over whelmed. When she met Dhylan she was in the Central Plaza of Castelia City walking with Polly her Herdier. She'd been filling her dog pokemon in on the good news that she finally got a job when suddenly another Herdier came bounding over. Its name, Henry and with Henry came his trainer Dhylan.
The two got to know one another over time and came to fall in love. They married and after two years of being together they had their first daughter Stacy. Four years after that they had their second daughter Hannah. When Megan wasn't working at one of the local shops staring at boatloads of paperwork she's supporting her husband's music. Of course she finds Stacy does a much better job of it. When Dhylan is out preforming, Megan looks after the girls. Their youngest Hannah is usually glued to her with some kind of a book. Oddly enough it seemed Hannah was the brains of the family which, Meg herself says comes from her. Of course Dhylan has never argued her on that.
When Maria was eight, Megan got a call from her baby sister Cathy with some concerns about her daughter. At first she was worried about what she meant by concerns. It wasn't until Cathy explained that she understood. She'd never had a problem with her two girls’ social wise as they were always so talkative. However, she knew Maria's struggle as when she was a kid she was the exact same way. Giving it some thought she recalled a Henry and Polly had a pup. Offering her sister the Lillipup as a way to help get Maria talking to other kids her own age, her sister took her up on the offer. Since then Megan has been unsure if her advice had helped her sister. Although deep down she hopes that Maria would make some friends with the same common interest that she had.
When Hannah became old enough to go to Ordell academy, Megan said no. Wanting her to wait as she didn't want her little girl flying the coop so quickly. A year later she gave her daughter a Vulpix as an apology and sent her on her way. In some ways, Megan was grateful her niece attended first to give her some piece of mind.
Secretly : Megan doesn't like what George did to Cathy and Maria. As such she's not a fan of him and is glad he's no longer in her families life.

Pokemon: Herdier (Polly) Info: Polly seemed to share the same close feelings with Dhylan's Herdier Henry. Thus how the Dhyan and Meg met in the first place. Polly is the gentle obedient one of the two. She listens to direction and is very alert to what's going on around her. She's known to also be very protective but great with children. Polly produced an egg with Henry which turned into the Lillipup that was then given to Maria when she was eight.

Pokemon: Gothorita (Rita) Info: Rita is Meg's assistant at work. She helps organize her trainer's workspace. Without her she'd be sure that Meg would never find a thing. Rita is a very understanding Pokémon, she's very polite and doesn't complain when given a task. In fact Rita is more than happy to get Meg a coffee if she needed it. She's even gone so far as to offer which only leads to the two taking a break from their work.

Pokemon: Rockruff Info: This Rockruff was the product of Polly mating with a Lycanroc. Henry certainly wasn't pleased. Either way the puppy pokemon was meant to be Hannah's but because it was too young, it'll be staying with her mother until it's old enough to come to the academy. Hannah nor this Rockruff can wait.

Personality: Stacy is your typically girly girl. She loves to shop till she drops and party all night long. Sadly she's only teenager and only has the luxury of partying all night when she's at one of her father's late night concerts. As far as shopping goes she's on a tight leash with her spending limit. Despite all that Stacy is very sociable and loves being the center of attention. However she doesn't mind sitting on the sidelines when her father plays his music.
Biography: Stacy was born four years before her cousin Maria, and little sister Hannah. Ever since her sister was born, Stacy would hang out with her father, watching his concerts. She loved the music and all the highlights of his job. Being his number one fan she'd always be there in the crowd along with his Illumise Minnie. When he'd go away on trips out of town, Stacy always wished she could go too. Instead she stayed with her mother and sister until he would return home, which she would admit was pretty dull.
Stacy never really had much interest in Pokémon being battles or contests. Her mind was set on designing outfits no matter how hard it would end up being. As such it wasn't until Stacy turned eleven that her mother asked if she wanted the Lillipup that had just been born. At that point she gave it some thought only to turn her down and ask for something else. A Minccino, the mouse Pokémon that loves to clean. Her mother thought it was an odd request but went out to help her daughter catch her first Pokémon.
Spending most of her time watching her little sister, Stacy usually found herself bored. Usually she'd leave Hannah to play with Mia while she was off doing her own thing. One day, Stacy heard her sister calling for her and raced off thinking something monumental was going on. However, it was just an Emolga that found its way onto their windowsill and now it was in the house. After scolding Hannah for not being more careful as the Pokémon was wild, she realized that the electric Pokémon was really quite friendly and rather cute. It was shortly after that Hannah pleaded for her to catch it. Despite having no interest in doing so Stacy decided to catch the Emolga for her little sister. Leaving the electric type in Hannah's care it sure made things interesting when he'd run off and they'd have to go around the city trying to find him.
Once Hannah turned 10 Stacy gifted Emolga to her.

Pokemon: Minccino (Mia) Info: Mia was Stacy's first Pokémon at the age of eleven. Mia loves to clean everything! She's a neat freak as most Minccino are. However, she's lovable and likes hanging around Stacy's sister Hannah. She also doesn't mind playing hide and seek with Emolga despite the two girls always worrying sick.

Personality: Nick was always the bookworm type. He started out as a simple Pokémon researcher before taking his research to dig sites around the world. He's always had a curious nature, having a love of learning about anything mysterious. From fossil to legendary Pokémon he's read about them all and is now working on learning more. Despite being quiet at times Nick has been known to joke around and keep the air light. Life is more enjoyable if you are having fun.
Biography: Nick was and still is an archaeologist and researcher. It was because of his job that he met his wife Irene at the age of twenty. Travelling to a site to help out where he was able to meet her in the first place. After meeting they started living together in Violet City and were married with a daughter. While Irene took time off of work to raise Evelyn, Nick was still very much hard at work. He cut down on the traveling he did so that he remained closer to home most days.
As Evelyn began to grow the family decided it was a good idea to move to a smaller town. As such they moved to Solaceon Town in the Sinnoh Region. With a dig site close to home Nick and Irene were able to take care of Eve and continue their work much easier. It wasn't long before the two proud parents realized Evelyn had the same interests as them.
Being called away for work at the Relic Castle in the Unova region, Nick already knew that Evelyn wanted to go away to Pokémon School. While out there he came across a Yamask. Thinking of Eve he decided to catch it as a gift for her. Making sure he was home in time for her tenth birthday, Nick gave his daughter the ghost Pokémon. Evelyn was very interested and delighted to have Yamask be her first official Pokémon, and Nick was delighted for her.

Pokemon: Cacturne Info: He may look scary and kind of creepy lurking in the dark, but he's actually quite lovable. Oddly enough the cactus Pokémon loves hugs. Yes, hugs and for a cactus they aren't exactly nice. Luckily he's learned to use his love of hugs to help move rocks and things out of the way. He also comes in handy with his use of Flash in darker places.

Personality: Irene is a rather sweet person, much like her Pokémon Sam. She's very smart and has always been interested in what can be found in the soil, mainly ancient Pokémon. Despite enjoying her reading about it, she's very hands on and would much rather go and explore the ruins herself. She's not afraid of a little bit of dirt.
Biography: Irene met Nick at one of the many sites she'd worked on when she was twenty. The two quickly hit it off and were soon married and living in Violet City. Becoming pregnant their daughter Evelyn was born when they were twenty-five. With the birth Irene took a break from work, much to her dismay. As Evelyn grew, Irene started taking her to the dig sites. Thanks to Sam, she had nothing to worry about when it came to Eve's safety. It wasn't long before she realized her daughter to had an interest in archaeology.
When her husband traveled for work (although it wasn't often since having Eve) she remained at home with Evelyn. After a while the two started to think maybe moving to a smaller town would be better. Thus the family moved to Solaceon Town in the Sinnoh Region. Before one of Nick's latest trip before their daughter's tenth birthday it was decided that Evelyn would attended Ordell Academy. Despite it being hard for Irene to let her daughter go, she's more than happy to let her daughter have her own adventures.

Pokemon: Sandslash (Sam) Info: Samantha or Sam for short is used to help Irene on the dig sites they visit. She may look tough but she's as friendly as can be. Very loyal you could almost say she's the Growlithe of Sandlash. Thus has always been a tad over protective of the youngest in the family, namely Eve.
