The Baby Noibat (Reserved)

[Strikers Daughter]

Astrid, a baby Noibat, was in her trainer's home. She was so tiny compared to other Noibats that were her age. She was orphaned as an egg so when her 'daddy' found her, she was about to hatch. She hatched in his arms and from then on, she was his baby girl. She could fly but not very far. She was getting stronger every day though. Astrid was asleep currently in her little crib. As she woke up, she started making cute noises before she opened her eyes and started crying having had a bad dream. She loved her trainer like he was her daddy. As every trainer should know, newly hatched pokemon think the first living thing they see is their parent and that's what Astrid thought of her trainer.

Michael rushed into the room when he heard Astrid crying. He then went over to her crib and picked her up and held her in his arms. "It's ok Astrid. I guess you had a bad dream huh?" He sad as he looked down at her in his arms.

Astrid stopped crying as he picked her up and told her it was okay. She gripped his shirt with her little claws before she looked up at him cutely with her big sweet eyes. Astrid loved Michael more than anything and knew that he loved her as well. She then snuggled up to Michael before her tummy growled cutely making her say "Noi Noibat." (Hungry daddy.) before she buried her face in his chest trying to make him smile.

Michael smiled a bit as he heard Astrid and watched her bury her face in his chest. "I bet you want some food right?" He said then walked out of the room with her and went to the kitchen to grab a bottle for her. Once he got it ready he held it up to her mouth and waited for her to start drinking.

Astrid held her little bottle with her claws as soon as Michael gave it to her before she started drinking from it, looking up at him as she did with the sweetest eyes. Astrid was so small compared to him. Poor thing was so tiny when she hatched, that she could barely fly. Plus there were no other Noibat or Noivern around to take care of her since they were not normally found in this area. So it was safe to say that her mother planted Astrid's egg in a nest, and was either caught or killed and the body, taken away. There were signs of a struggle around Astrid's egg at that time, and she was only kept warm by the sunlight, and the nest that covered her. Had it not been for Michael finding her, she wouldn't have survived long.

Michael smiled down at Astrid as she drank from the bottle. Once she was done with it he took the empty bottle from her and put it in the sink. "Fell better now?" He asked the little Noibat as he walked with her out to the living room.

Astrid nodded as she nuzzled Michael's chest giggling cutely. She then looked up at him as she flapped her wings trying to fly again. She stayed close to Michael just in case she fell out of the air again. She managed to get onto his shoulder, before she nuzzled his cheek and licked it trying to be her really sweet self.

Michael smiled a bit at Astrid as she flew up to his shoulder. "Want to go outside?" He asked wondering if she wanted to try really flying today.

 

[Strikers Daughter]

Astrid nodded. Although, she wanted to play outside, not practice flying. She started fluttering her wings cutely wanting to play outside. She then tried to fly to the door but landed on the floor, before she started waddling towards the door, before looking at Michael. "Noibat Noi!" (Come on daddy!) she said trying to get him to follow her outside.

Michael smiled a bit and followed Astrid to the door. He then opened it up to let Astrid out before following behind her. As soon as he got out of knelled down to her. "So what do you wanna do first?"

Astrid then tackled Michael giggling as she was playing with him. She wasn't very strong but she was never one to not show that she was getting there. As she tackled Michael, she laughed trying to play with him. She didn't hurt him though since she was still only a baby but she loved to play with her daddy.

Michael laughed a bit as Astrid tackled him. "Ok I guess you wanna play" He said then pulled out a couple of pokeballs. "About we let Spark and Luke play too" He said then threw out Spark who was a Shinx he had caught just recently and Luke who was his first pokemon, a Tododile who refuses to evolve.

 

[Strikers Daughter]

Astrid giggled as Spark and Luke came out. She hated being in her pokeball so she was usually out unless it was absolutely necessary for her to go in. She then hugged Luke as she thought he was her big brother. She then looked at Spark and went up to him, well more like hopped up to him, and said "Noibat Noi Noi!" (Nice to meet you!) in her usual hyper way.

Michael smiled a bit seeing Astrid hug Luke then go to Spark. 'Shinx shinx!' (You too!) He said with a smile to her. Michael smiled a bit seeing the two get along. "Go on and play for a bit I'll be right here" He told them as he sat down in a nearby chair.

 

[Strikers Daughter]

Astrid giggled as she started playing tag with Spark and Luke. She hopped after them as she was 'it' and was laughing. But then she took a tumble onto her wing, before she sat up crying as her wing was hurt. At the speed she was going, she could have broken her wing, plus having wobbly legs didn't help either. She had sprained her wing with the fall and it hurt her a lot.
